Case'd Card #2

Here is the 2nd card I cased from Taylored Expressions card gallery. All of the details are the same as the previous card.
Today I am taking a class in Beaverton. I havent taken a class for a long time. I think the last class I took was the candle class last spring so it has been over a year. This class is a Magnolia class. It should be fun!

Case"d Card #1

Here's the 1st card I cased from tayloredexpressions store's gallery. Visit her blog at http://www.tayloredexpression.blogspot.com/ and click on her store. She has a great gallery for all her sets. I changed the ribbon and the sentiment. I made 4 cards for the gift set with 4 sentiments, two of each cards. So there were 8 cards all together.
I colored the image with copic markers and used old olive card stock from stampin up and some gingham ribbon from cod wholesale.
I love this set from Taylor. It is CreativiTea. Becareful tho, some of the stamps are small and I have lost one already.

Casing from Taylor Expressions!

I totally cased this idea off the gallery on the taylor expressions store. Did you guys check out her stuff this week? I love it all. This is the box for a set of cards. I made 4 different cards, two of each design with 4 different sentiments. I also made a matching gift bag and gave it to a girl at work today for a going away gift. She loved it and so did everyone else. I changed the ribbon a little bit and changed all the words and how they were on the other cards. I had a lot of fun with this set. I made two of them. The box is totally cool also and it came from Taylors store also. Check her out. Her blog is http://www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/ and the go to the store. I dont know the direct link to the store off the top of my head but she has a header for it right at the top of her blog.

I will post some of the cards later.

Cool New Stamps!

I just love stamps from Taylored Expressions. She had her new releases for this month. The frame on this card is from Creativetea. I love this set. It matches perfectly this spellbinders nestibilities set. Isnt it so cool. I found the idea for this card on her store gallery. You just go on there and pick the stamp set you want for lots of ideas. I changed the sentiment and color of ribbon and also added a flower instead of stamping one. I really think this is a very nice mothers day card. Very easy yet elegant looking. The papers on this card are from the yummy new papers that just came out from a new company called The Girs Paperie. I love this line of papers. They are delish. Taylor has it in one of her card kits but I wanted 12 x 12 papers and to pick as many of the ones I wanted. I first saw them on Michelle Woodersons's Blog Mish Mash. She used them also. I had to had them and she had a link to them that sent me to Two Peas In a Bucket's website. I bought a bunch but will probably end up getting more. They are beautiful.

Spellbinders Impressabilities!

I finally bought my first Impressability from spellbinders. Not sure yet if I like it or not. It is definately not as easy as cuttlebugs embossing folders. I saw this card at a local stamp store and thought even tho it was simple it was very cute. It made me by this one. But it took a lot of work to get it to work. This one is called sea scapes. I just embossed the clam shell with white embossing powder on blue for one card. The other card I used stampin up shimmery white cardstock and the re inkers and waterbrush technique on the other. I used bashful blue, night of navy and brocade blue cardstock. My clamshell is from the Flourishes Seaside Life set.

TESC #108

This is for Taylors Sketch Challenge #108. I had to turn it sidewides to make it work. Also it was a square card but I wanted it to be a regular size card. I am just not that fond of making square cards for some reason.
I used all CTMH ds papers. They are from the Veranda collection. The greenish blue cardstock is called Juniper and the cream card base is SU Very Vanilla. I used the daisy stamp from a set from The Greeting Farm back when it was called Pink Poison. I looked at the package but it doesnt seem to have a name of the set. I colored the image with copic markers. I added some yellow stickles around the center of the flowers. The sentiment is a SU set called Well Scripted out of the mini catalogue. I used my new large scalloped oval and regular oval nestibilites. All of the papers I distressed the edges with Blue Bayou ink. I also added some liquid pearls on the scalloped edges. The ribbon is from CTMH also that I have had for years.

So Sweet!

I cant believe I actually used two of my new Close to My Heart sets in one weekend. This set is called so sweet. I think the flowers are fuschias. The sentiment came with the set. I thought this made a nice sympathy card. This is a two step stamping set, but I decided to color it with copic markers instead of the 2nd step. I used my new nesties die on the 1st layer and then the rectangle scallop and plain rectangle and the 2nd and third layers. the corner pieces are done with a paper shapers corner punch and ran thru the cuttlebug with an embossing folder. The punches for the sentiment are all three from stampin up. My ribbons are all stampin up also. The cardstock is too and it is certainly celery and retired baja breeze. (I still have a little of it left and will really miss it when its gone.) My papers I got last week on my shopping trip. I am really trying to not buy pink all the time but it is really, really hard.
I hope you enjoy this card. I really like the way it turned out. Also the butterfly in the upper right corner is a martha stewart punch I did in 3-d.

Cupcakes!

I finally decided to use my cupcake border punch. I found this paper at craft warehouse and immediately thought of cupcakes. It took me awhile to find something to go with it but I like the way it finally turned out. The cupcake punch is from Martha Stewart and of course I had to use my nestibilites and a stamping up punch. The stamps are from a taylored expressions set called For The Love of Cupcakes. The designer papers are from My Minds Eye. The cardstock is stamping up Regal Rose and Gable Green. I paper pieced the bottom of the cupcake and colored the top with copic markers. I used white regular glitter on the frosting part of the cupcake and stickles on the cherry. Then for the table top I used one of my Smooches for the 1st time. I used a scrap with the border punch and one of the sentiments from the set for the inside.

A Little Hello!

I found this adorable owl paper on a shopping trip with my sis on friday. It is by Best Creation Inc. but doesnt seem to have a name. The owl stamp is from the Love You Forever set from Close to My Heart. I just got it a week or so ago. We were looking at a card at the stamp store and then when I got home I remembered I had this set. I think it goes perfect with the paper. The cardstock is pixie pink and pink pirouette from stampin up. I used a martha stewart punch and two stampin up punches. Plus my nesties. The large scalloped oval nestie is one of my puchases from our shopping trip also.
We have postponed our easter dinner today because my hubbys parents are sick. So Kati and Bud are really bored and going to the beach. Its too cold and rainy for me. So I am going to stay home and stamp again. Yesterday they went for a day road trip also to Silver Falls and found some snow on the way.

Crafty Cow and TESC107

I like this little cow. She is already to start stamping. She is a Yvonne Albritton stamp. I have only seen her stamps at stamp convention when it comes to town so I was surprised to see them at a local stamp store and unmounted. I fell in love with her. I used my Papertrey ink set Studio Style for the sentiment. I think they are perfect together. I made this card for Taylors sketch challenge. You cant hardly see it but there are lavender dew drops along the bottom below the sentiment. I colored this little cow with copic markers. The sentiment is punched out with some stampin up punches. The designer paper is basic grey. I used pieces from both The Green at Heart and Kioshi lines. The cardstock is stampin ups lavender lace and elegant eggplant. The sentiment is stamped in Elegant Eggplant also.
