Stampin Up Dahlia Days Bundle!

Here are some pretty cards I made using the Dahlia Days bundle. Stamping and die cutting all the flowers and leaves took a bit of time. The first card did too, but after that the second card went together pretty quickly.

I found this on Youtube. It was a video by Jan B. She found a christmas one like it from a gal in Japan.

It was really pretty too.

More Tulips!

Here is another card made using the Tulip dies from Stampin Up. Its the first time I have used this part of die set. For three of these tulips there is a wrap around die which is pretty cool. I have started with Basic White cardstock and inked the edges with Polished Pink ink. I love how this card turned out. But of course it is my favorite color.

On The Horizon Bundle and Belated Birthday Celebration!

Yesterday my sister Tami came over for a crafting day and a Belated B!

birthday celebration for me. My birthday was actually last month. I spent 7 hours in the airport for a trip we didnt get to go on.

Tami brought over this adorable birthday cake. She made the greeting that goes on top. She also made this adorable cross stitched sampler. I love anything tea related. Some day Kati and I want to open our own teashoppe. This picture also has my two most favorite colors and gold sparkles. What more could a girl ask for in a picture??? She spent a whole month working on this sampler picture for me!

On to my cards. I just love this new designer series paper pack from Stampin Up.  The paper is called New Horizons. There is also a stamp and die set/bundle to go with this sweet. I have seen so many samples done with these papers. They are so gorgeous and fun!

You can check them out at my online store here.

Multi Tiered Cards!

These cards are fun to make. I think you will probably have to make your own envelope or box to put them in because they are a little different in size. They do fold flat for that is nice.

I saw a beautiful Christmas card on a blog I follow. There werent any dimensions so I just googled it and found a card like it on You tube. So after I had the dimensions then I decided to design my own from there.

I did the flowered card first. I just love how it turned out. Its pretty colors and very sparkly. Then I decided to make a masculine version of it because it is my cousins birthday this month and I wanted to send it to him. So I made the lighthouse version of the card.

They are a little time consuming to make. If you were using cutouts that were in a kit or something it would be alot quicker.

I have used the Sunshine and Rainbows dsp, ( we could always use Sunshine and Rainbows, right?!), and the Awesome Otters stamp set. You can get each one free with a $50 (doesnt include shipping) order.

I think these cards are Otterly Terrific!!!

I cased these cards from Lynn Dunn at Stamptasticdesigns.com.

HoneyBee Stamps!

I made this card using some new Honeybee products. I saw a couple of sample cards on their blog and was in love. This is the first card I came up with. This is a card for a special friends birthday coming up later this month.

This stamp set is like a 4 step set, there are also dies. For the edge and middle of the card I used a gorgeous die set that comes with matching stencils.

The stamps are the Antique Layering Roses and matching dies. The border and center die I used are Lace A2 Cover Plate dies and Layered Lace Stencils. The border isnt really a border tho. I only used it as a border but it is actually a rectangle die.

Nuts About Squirrels Treat Boxes!

I just love these little guys and am really glad they are carrying over! I found a tutorial from Kitchen table Stamper. She made her own box and it fit the treat she was putting in it.

I didnt want to do that. I wanted to use up these boxes and there were exactly enough for all the girls in my next class. So, I did the same topper that she used only put it on the boxes.
