Jaded Blossom Cards!

I have fallen in love with Jaded Blossoms gnome dies!! They started with one male set and then started adding add ones for holidays, then came out with a girl set also. You can use all the add ons with both the boys and the girls. They are so much fun to work with.

If you want to see some great videos, check out Kristie Marcottes blog and videos. If you have gone gnome crazy like I have she has some great organizational tips for cutting certain parts ahead and storage for them. Also gives links to all the places she gets her papers and supplies.

These are the patriotic cards I have made. I will have more to show later!!

Anna Griffin Hot Air Balloons!

This cards are hard to get good images of but they are so gorgeous in real life. I have used the Anna Griffin Hot Air Galloon dies. The flowers and greeting are from other Anna Griffin Kits I have. They are great kits. Alot of the flowers and greetings are stickers so you just pull off the backs and put them on. They are also popped up already with foam dots so you have lots of dimension.

I made 4 different balloons and will be showing the others in a few days. I also want to put 4 of them together to make a standing hot air balloon!

Another Kindest Gnomes and a Sketch Challenge!

Heres another card I made using the Kindest Gnomes stamps and matching dies. As you can see from the 2nd photo, you can cut the gnomes and large mushroom right out of the designer papers.

I used one of the mushrooms on this card and stamped and die cut the gnome. I think this is the cutest little gnome. It just looks so shy. There isnt one of these to cut out of the papers so I stamped and colored it with my stamping blends and the cut it out.

To design this card I used the Sketch Challenge #FM359, you can check them out at Freshly Made Sketches.

For this card I have also used the Deckled Rectangle, Stylish Shapes dies out of the new Annual catalog and the  Go To Greetings for the Thinking of you from the Mini catalog which goes live July 1st.

The Go to Greetings is a great set! It has 4 greetings in 3 different fonts and then a Hello stamp also.

Kindest Gnomes and Sketch Saturday!

I havent done a sketch  challenge in along time. I'm not sure why.
So today I decided to do one again. I have chosen to use the sketch from Sketch Saturday!
I am using a brand new bundle (stamp and die set) from Stampin Up that is in the new July-Dec Mini Catalog.
There are the cutest stamp and dies in this set, also (which I have used on this card), there are dies to make a gnome with out stamps.
I love this little guy!  There are also matching papers that you can cut out gnomes and a nice sized mushroom right out the the papers.
The little mushrooms on the lower left corner of this card are dies from the set also.
I have used new papers for this card for the Sale A Bration catalog that will be coming out July 1st also. These papers are called Rings of Love and actually have papers that match some other dies in the Mini catalog. These papers are free with a $50 purchase.
Oh, also the cute little glasses this little gnomette is wearing are also from a Sale A Bration set with some cute hippo dies. These dies are available free with a $50 purchase and there is a cute hippo stamp set also free with a $50 purchase. So for a $100 purchase you can get a free stamp and die set. How great is that???

It all starts July 1st!

Catalog Premier Party!

So much fun stuff in the new Annual Stampin Up catalog. These are the 6 cards we made yesterday.

Also these 6 fun projects were in  a fun gift bag. I didnt use papers out of the new Annual catalog. Instead I used papers still available in the Spring Mini catalog that is live until the end of June.

Pansy Patch!

Here are a couple more Mothers Day cards. I have used the Pansy Patch bundle which is thankfully carried over into the new catalog. But I have also used the pansy papers from the old catalog and the die cut words are also discontinued. But since I was making these for a co worker I figured it didnt matter. I have also used the Cup of Tea dies. You cant really tell that the pansys are actually in a teacup!

Bottled Happiness!

This is a new stamp set and punch in the new Annual Catalog that went live this week. You can make it flat like I did or you can get some Shaker domes to pop it up and fill it with some Effervescent elements to look like marbles in the bottle.

I have used the Stitched with Whimsey dies (first time even tho I've had them for a year!, so glad they carried over!) to add some nice stitching around the edges. The stitching is nice and curvy, just the way I sew!!

I have used to new In colors on this card Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party. I love the new Incolors that came out this year but I still love last years too!

If you would like to purchase these items you can contact me or check them out at my online store.

I was asked by a co-worker to make up some Mothers day cards. So this was one of the ones I made. I got the Happy Mothers Day stamp from the Daffodil DayDream stamp set that also carried over from the Spring mini catalog. So you can still find it as a bundle until June 30th!

Sending Smiles!

This is a new set out of the New Annual Stampin Up catalog that just went live yesterday. There is some great new products in this catalog. I sent in my order yesterday and cant wait to see the new things I have been wanting since I first saw the catalog.

There are a couple of great sets with just words. One of them has dies to cut out the sayings which is great!

The bundle I have used on todays project does that also. It creates a shadow layer that goes behind the word Sending. There are also great greetings to go with it like the one I have used on this card.

If you would like to order any of the great new products or any of the other awesome products stampin up offers you can check out my online store here.   I would love to have you shop with me.

Wisteria Wishes!

These three cards were all made using the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and matching dies. They are coming out in the new Stampin Up Annual Catalog on May 3rd.
I really like this bundle because there are 3 different ways to use this set. You can make the traditional Wisterias, you can make the cone flowers (not sure what exactly they are) and you can make Christmas trees with them.
There isnt many stamp sets in my opinion that you can do that with. Also there are the dies you can make Wisterias out of with any stamping!

I just saw yesterday somewhere on Pinterest where they had made a stand up card using the tree limbs multiple times so it looked really authentic and then had the Wisteria hanging across it. It was a really cool card. Lots of work tho, tons of die cutting. Which I love how die cuts look but sometimes even for me I think its too much. Sure, if you were only going to make one card its ok but I usually dont like to make one card because you get all your supplies out and have stuff everywhere and if you do that for one card everytime its like all you are doing is getting things out and putting them away. Also if you are doing classes its just too much!

But anyway, I am doing a class with this set to show the three ways to use one stamp set. I think its really a cool idea.

Mothers Day is On Her Way!

A co-worker asked me if I had some Mothers Day cards for his wife and mother. So I have been working on some for the last few days.

I just love these papers. Sadly they will be gone after May 2nd. The good news is the Pansy Stamps and dies are carrying over into the New Annual Catalog that goes live on May 3rd. But not the papers.

The teacup that the pansys are sitting on are from the new Cup of Tea bundle coming out in the new Annual Catalog on May 3rd. This is a fun set and has matching papers you can use the dies on also.

If there is anything in the annual catalog you have been wanting but havent purchased yet there are only a few days left to do so. They may be gone already because I have noticed that is the case with some items my customers have tried to order.

The cute little bumblebee at the top is also on the retiring list!

Paradise Palms!

I've been having some fun with the Paradise Palms bundle. Its not new in the Annual Catalog. Its a carry over from the Spring Mini catalog.

I purchases a tutorial from Blue Rose Paper Treasures to make these cards. She does some awesome projects. I love the colors with the white on these cards and how the window sheets make such a difference. My husband just loved these cards!

Also used on these cards was the Oceanfront stamp set and a little bit from the retiring Horizon Dies. I wish the On the Horizon bundle was carrying over because the three of these sets go together so well and I love the little picket fence in the Horizon Dies.

More Hues Of Happiness!

Here are some more cards made with the Hues of Happiness Bundle going live on May 3rd!
I just love how you can cut the flowers out of the papers. I did also see some awesome stamped and colored images with the stamps the other day also.
The first and last card are my versions of cards I cased right out of the new Annual Catalog. The catalog is always a great source for inspiration. You can even get ideas to use your other stamps and dies for.
The second and third cards I cased from Youtube, from Karin Braxton who said she got the ideas for the style of the cards from someone else.
If you dont already have a Stampin Up demonstrator and would like to get a catalog just let me know!
I would love to be your demonstrator!

Cup Of Tea and Hues of Happiness!

These cards are made with items out of the new Annual Catalog that goes live on May 3rd. I just love the Hues of Happiness Suite. The papers are absolutely Gorgeous!!!. And you can cut the flowers right out of the papers with the matching dies, or stamp and color them yourself.

Anyone who knows me, knows I love teacups, teapots and all things that go with it. Especially going to a teahouse for High Tea!!

I cased these cards from Gail Ellis at Blue Rose Paper Treasures. She has the most awesome projects. Sometimes she has free downloads and she also has tutorials you can purchase. I am working on some fun beach cards right now from a tutorial I purchased from her. She is a Stampin Up Demonstrator in Australia.
