Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge!

I made this card using the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday . I used this cute little tilda. I think It might be Swedish Tilda but not really sure. I was trying to decide what papers to use and my eyes landed on these new SU ribbons. Then I remember I had just looked at these ds papers with the exact same colors. I colored her with copic markers and then layered her. Added some flowers.

Stamp and Create Magnolia Blog Challenge

This is my card for this months challenge at stamp and create with magnolia challenge . You can hop over there and check out all the great samples from the other design team members. They have some great ones.
Also if you go to the stamp and create store you can get some great deals on magnolia stamps and lots of other great items at really good prices too. The shipping time is also amazing!
For my card I used Tilda w/Burger. I colored her with copic markers. The theme for this month is summertime. So I went with a BBQ theme. I used some papers from Best Creations with lots of cooking things on them. Bright and cheery colors too.
The greeting Whats cooking! is also a magnolia stamp!

1st STAMP AND CREATE MAGNOLIA BLOG CHALLENGE!

This is my 1st card for Stamp and Create Magnolia Blog Challenge . I have used Tilda with flower pot. I though it would be good for spring since she does have a pot of flowers and also she has her little jacket on because it is still chilly outside. The challenge is spring and butterflies. I used my memory box butterfly dies I picked up last summer and hadnt used yet. I added some flowers and some fun lace and ribbon. Also some pearls. I have colored her with copic markers and then added some liquid pearls and glitter glue around the image. I also inked the edges too. My ds paper is also from Magnolia.
I am also entering my card in Magnolia Down Under challenge which is wings this week so my butterflies are perfect for that and Marvelous Magnolia where it is anything goes this week!

Joyful Tilda!

This is Joyful Tilda! Isnt she adorable??? Anyone that knows me or has been to my house knows I love, love tea things. So when I saw this tilda here I knew I had to have and use Janiels card as my inspiration. Janiel has great cards and I love her blog. Its one of my favorites. You should check it out if you have time!

I used the papers from the new SU mini catty starting next month and the flowers are from there also.

The little loopys at the top right corner are maggie dies. This just might be my favorite maggie ever!!

Well, for now anyhow.

I know I said this in yesterdays post but I am really enjoying just making things I have been wanting to make for the last couple months without a lot of other commitments. I guess commitments are good then it makes you appreciate things like this more, right?!

Maggie w/Heart Scarf!

As I was loading this picture to make this post I was listening to Pandora and right at the same time they were playing a song called Maggies Back In Town. I think that that is such a weird coincidence. Dont you??

Anyway, I got to make quite a few cards today. I am so excited. Two of them are magnolias. What a great day!

This maggie is called Tilda W/Heart Scarf. She is really enjoying the snowy day (which I am hoping to do maybe this weekend or on New Years Day!

Since friday is my birthday I have a really busy weekend planned. Friday is lunch and maybe some shopping with the hubby. Saturday is a day with my Kates and dinner at The Melting Pot (Yum, Yum!!!).

So on to my card. I used one of the card bases that I learned to make in my Amazing Paper Grace kit. (See its making itself useful already!). Then I layered it with some fun blue paper and Pool Party card stock. Colored her up with copic markers and added some stickles. Also I used my maggie tree die and put lots of snow on the branches and some snowflake punch outs with some blue rhinestones.

I hope you like her as much as I do!

Back to Stamping!

I got to make a magnolia card. I have used one of my new maggies. It is the Sweden maggie or something to that effect. I have colored her with copic markers and used some new rose paper I picked up at the beach last weekend. I have also used the sketch from The Sweet Stop . I got this card up just in time. Their challenge closes in about 2 hrs.
The greetings is a new stamp and die set from stampin up. Itty Bitty Banners and banner dies. I really like them. They are "Way Cool".

This is FlipFlop Tilda. Isnt she cute??? I just love her. I made her into a calender for August also. Alice and I are working on our next years calenders again. Magnolias only. Our year runs from June to May so I have two months done so far. I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday for the card. Also at
Magnolia Down Under the challenge for this week is make your own embellishments. I made the flower on this card with three different punches and the matching ds papers. Over at Magnolia Stamp Lovers the challenge is square cards. I used lots of dew drops on this card and some incolor brads from stampin up. The papers are the newest incolors Summer Starfruit and Primrose Petals. They both go perfect with the ds papers I pulled out of my stash that I have had forever.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

This is my card for the challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday for this week. Its time to start on my magnolia calenders also. My friend Alice and I did a year of them starting last June. So I have June this year and I also made this card into a calender. I used this adorable little Magnolia. Colored her with copic markers.
Also over at Just Magnolia their challenge is Pearls and Swirls. So I have added both of those to this card. The swirls are from a little sizzix die. I added some flowers and ribbon also.

Vintage!

Isnt this little Tilda cute?? I just love her. Of course she is wearing Pink, my favorite color so I have to love her even more. I pulled out a could of pages of my Magnolia papers. I had two full sheets and one scrap of the 6x6 and I was able to make two cards with it. I dont like to use my magnolia papers because then they will be gone. But they sure are special.
I used some of my pretty prima carnation flowers, some pearls, then I had some lace ribbon and I layered it with stampin up tiny pink ribbon.

Another Magnolia Card!

My Card

You know there are some many great card samples out there. Since I have started my blog I have been mostly creating my own designs using the challenges that are out there. There are so many to choose from. Sometimes you just have to case someone elses card because you cant help yourself. That is the case with this card. Unfortunately, I dont know who I cased it from but here is the original:

I changed the Tilda, papers and sentiment. So it is different somewhat but if you recognize this card, I love it and thank you for doing such a great job. I wish I could have used the same papers but couldnt find them. I think they were discontinued from last year.
l used the new papers I love from The Girls Paperie. They are alot like the ones that were out last year about this time.
Also the sentiment is from Verve.

Another Beach Card w/a Magnolia!

I really like how this card turned out. We had stopped at Craft Warehouse on the way to the beach to see how their sale was going. I found this pretty paper and then got the green and blue bazzill to go with it. We were trying out the cricut Lacy Labels cartridge to see how it would make white doilies and then I was showing Alice how the layering worked so I just used the three colors of cardstock I had purchased at Craft Warehouse. We loved the way it looke and decided to use it. Since I bought it to match this paper it out turned out really pretty. I think it was both of our favorite cards for the weekend.

For the Challenge at ABC this week is V for variety. You have to have three different kinds of embellishments. I have flowers. dew drops and ribbon.

I think that is the only challenge I really qualify for this week.

Whats Cooking!

Here is a cute little chef Tilda. Not sure if that is her real name. Guess I should go thru all my Tildas and find out their real names.
I am making up some kits to sell at Peddlers Pack. This is one of the first two I am taking in. My card yesterday is the other one. They will come with everything to make one card plus a colored photo and instructions.
I hope they do good. I have been so excited I have lost sleep several nights.
So I colored this little gal with copic markers. I used the Magnolia whats cooking sentiment. Added a couple of papers from the  DCWV Sweet Treats paper pack and some flowers, ribbons and dew drops from my stash.

Birthday Cake Tilda!

This is my other Tilda I received on friday. It is also the ingredients for the 2nd Magnolia kit swap I am going. Also a birthday card. I forgot to take a picture of the inside. It is really cute. Maybe I will do that later and post it.
I used lots of stuff I have had around for awhile. The designer paper, the brads and ribbons, The greenish cardstock is Close to My Heart. It went better with the designer paper than any stampin up color I had. It is called Kiwi. I used some nestiblities and colored Tilda with copic markers. I am not real happy with the color of her skin but oh well, Didnt want to start over.

2nd Post Today!

Tilda With Big Ribbon
Here is one of my new Tildas. Just came in the mail on friday. She is Tilda With Big Ribbon. I think she is really  cute. I may have added too much pink with this card but Oh Well! What can I say? I was working on my kits for the magnolia kit swap I joined. I have never done a swap like this before. I signed up for two kits in this swap. So I spent my morning putting them together. You have to have 2 sheets of designer papers. One sheet of cardstock, 24" of ribbon and 4-6 embellishments. All for 6 cards each. Then we get 5 sets back, I think! Oh, also three stamped images. Also if you want you could make a project yourself and add a picture of it with the kit. So I decided to do that and this is what I came up with .
I used a sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp. Then I went with the challenge from Magnolici lious Highlites pink, silver, white and hearts.
The sentiment is again from a Verve set, Circular Sayings. I really love this set for this size of sentiment. I just forget to use it alot. Too many stamps you think? No Way!  The designer papers are from Stampin Up and the pink cardstock is bazzil. The ribbon is Raspberry Fizz from Papertrey Ink. There are some misc embellishments. The rhinestone butterfly, flower and dew drops. I used the heart nesties also.

Tilda Spreads Love Again!

Here is Tilda Spreads Love again. I guess she just has alot of love to go around!
I colored her with copic markers and added a little bit of glitter pen to her. You cant see the charm on the lower left very well but it just spells out love. It came as a little thankyou with an order I placed from Stamp and Create. They are currently in Florida but I think getting ready to move. I know she has been very busy with this so I thought my order would take a while to get here. But I think I got it in three days. I was pleasantly surprised. I had ordered a few Valentine Stamps they had on sale. Very cute too.
For this card today I was trying for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge of red, white and pink. I know there are a few other colors in there but I tried to keep it down.
For the sketch for this card I went with 2 Sisters Challenge Blog. You can check them out to see all their great creations. But actually then I realized I was a month behind. My link is one of those that goes to the day I saved it too my favorites. But check them out anyway.
Also for the last Challenge it was to have ribbons. But I also have bows made out of ribbon. You can find there challenge here at Just Magnolia.

Tilda Spreads Love!

This is another one of the magnolias from the new You Are So Special Collection. I used some of my digi papers from Nit Wits. I love getting the digi papers. I dont use them as much as I would like. The designer papers are just like stamps. There are so many great ones you cant just use them all all at once. Some day maybe I will be able to stay home and play all day all the time,(but I doubt it!).
Anyway, my card is for sketch saturday challenge. I had to add flowers even tho there wasnt a spot for them on the sketch. I card ALWAYS needs flowers right!  For the Totally Tilda challenge it was to have Lots Of Hearts. Magnolia Stamp Lovers challenge was to add glitter. So I added some glitter polka dots on the hearts. Originally this card was also for the Just Magnolia challenge that was Dotty. But I am too late for that. Also Magnolia Down Under is to add embossing dry or heat. I ran the hearts thru my dotted swiss embossing folder.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge!

This is my card for the current Magnolia Down Under Challenge. The challenge was to make your own emblellishments so I ran the stampin up snowflake die thru the cuttlebug with vellum and blushing bride stampin up cardstock and added the greetings on the bottom left of the card and then used the same die on the upper right with a rose thru the middle so it is a snowflake rose. On the lower right I tied a bow with a pin with a pearl thru it and a flower on top. I colored this little tilda blowing bubbles with my distressed re inkers. I really liked how she turned out. Then I added stickles to her wings and her bubbles and clear pearly smooch to her dress and skin to give it all a shimmer. I took two different pictures. One is lighter but the glare doesnt show how the distressed inks are colored and the other one is darker and shows the coloring better. I love this little tilda blowing bubbles.

Totally Tilda Challenge!

This week at the Totally Tilda Blog Challenge it is to make your own flowers. So I used a Marvy large flower punch and a martha stewart flower and leaf punch to make mine. Then I ran them thru the cuttlebug with the textile embossing folder. I used thin white cardstock I got at Joannes that isnt good for much else and then sprayed them with some Iridescent Memories Mist. I love this little shopping tilda. The sentiment is from a Hannah stamps set. So this whole card totally reminds me of my daughter.

Just Magnolia Blog Challenge!

This is my card for this weeks challenge at Just Magnolia Blog Challenge. I used the Farewell Tilda I just got this weekend. I have been wanting her for a long time. She has a tear on her cheek because she is saying goodbye. This well be me next week after my relatives that will be visiting leave. I may give this card to my aunt when she goes. Who knows.
The challenge for this week is Lace It Up! So I used stampin up's new lace ribbon and then the lace bow at the top is from a set from Jolee's that I found at Micheals. I distressed most of the papers with the new Tim Holtz distressing tool I also got this weekend.
I pulled some misc flowers from my stash. I had to color some white ones with my copic markers to make them match and added the heart button.

3 Challenges in 1 Again!

I started this card for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #120 but the decided to also make it for Just Magnolias Recipe 3Flowers, 2 Papers and a ribbon. So I hope Taylor doesnt mind that her sketch might have gotten a tiny bit lost in the card. You can still see it ther if you look. Oh, the third blog challenge is Flutterby Wednesday. You just have to have a fairy or angel or something with wings. So for the deets: Stamps Sweet Tilda, Su Butterfly prints. Flowered paper is by Melissa Francis and the polka dot paper is from and 8 x 8 paper pack from Marcella K I think I might have picked it up at Target. I used one of Stampin ups new colors Marina Mist and Pink Pirouette they brought back (Yeah! my absolute favorite!). The ribbon is also new from stampin up Marina Mist. I used some blue flowers I picked up at a local stamp storeand of course rectangle nesties.
