Celebrate Today!

I choose my colors for todays cards using Cupcake Inspirations Challenge! The colors were berry, rose and goldenrod. I used Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride, and Hello Honey! My DSP is English Gardens. I used Melon Mambo Stitched Ribbon. I love these ribbons. They are so pretty and come in great colors. My stamp set is my featured stamp of the month, Celebrate Today. I have stamped the greeting and the basket for the hot air balloon in Soft Suede ink. Also I have added some White Perfect Accents.

For my card today I was using my sketch and the challenge from The Curtain Call Challenge!

I was trying to emboss and realized my Versamark pad was dry so I didnt get a good image. So while it was hot I was putting more embossing powder on the image to emboss it again and got a little extra powder where it wasnt supposed to be. So if you think wow she doesnt emboss very well that is why!

I used the Celebrate Today Stamp set and matching dies. Also English Garden DSP (my favorite dsp!).

The ribbon is Blushing Bride cotton ribbon. I really like this ribbon. I have it in several colors already. I am a fan of the thinner ribbon. Especially when tying bows!

Featured Stamp of the Month!

Every month, I will have a featured stamp of the month. This month it is Sprinkles Of Life. This is how my featured stamp of the month works. I will make a set of 4 cards with this stamp set. Anyone that places a $50 order from my online Stampin Up Store will get the set of 4 cards for free.

Come back tomorrow and you can see a different sent then the originals. I used a 6 x6 paper pad and so far have done 5 sets of cards and still have half of my paper pack left. So the next batch of cards will have different papers and I am using Cucumber Crush ribbon on the next batch.
