A co-worker of my hubbys had her first grandbaby. So he asked me to make a card for her. I pulled out my Verve set that I have had for awhile. I wasnt sure what sentiment to put on it so I put quite a few. I think I covered all the bases.
I colored it with copic markers and used some nesties and stampin up punches. Added a few flowers. The card base is white and layered with Blushing Bride. I also used the Very Vanilla seam binding from stampin up.

New Christmas Card!

Well, Christmas is close to two weeks away and I dont have any christmas cards made for myself. I was going to make this card. But now dont know if I will have time. My hubby needs cards for his work and I have to make 4 name cards for a co-worker. Also the birth annoucements I made a few weeks ago, the wife liked them so much and cant find anything like them so I will be making more of them hopefully. So I will be spending lots of time stamping this weekend but I do have to work on saturday also.
Its been a little chilly this week and with the weather getting in the teens this week at night our furnace decided to quit. The repair man was out at 7:30 last night and got it working for a little bit. It needs a new blower. He set it at a higher setting to make it work but we dont know how long it will last.

Another Verve Card!

Here's another verve card with a set I have had for about a year and not used. I pretty much cased this off of verves gallery also and again I am sorry I dont have the name of the great person who made the original card. I changed all the papers and added the sentiment.
I used all su papers. Bella Birds ds papers and then pink piroutte and bordering blue cs. I colored it with copic markers and used diamond glaze on the balloons. The had and balloons are cut out and mounted with mounting tape and the ribbons are all su also.
I used the scallop border punch from stampin up and my nesties. Liquid peals are in little beads along the bottom.
This might be the 4th card for stamp club on saturday but I am not sure. Katis car and all her possessions are to be delivered tomorrow so our house will be utter chaos but oh well, thats life right?! It is going to be one busy weekend!

Beautiful Butterfly

I cased this card a little from a sample on the verve website. I dont remember which of the girls did it but I changed the papers and didnt put the big bow on it and also changed the flowers. I used one of the basic grey eva papers and one of the basic grey lemonade papers. I think they match pretty well. The green paper matches the green in the eva paper. I also used stampin up kiwi kiss and mauve mist. The flowers came from several different places. The shimmery ones came from Taylored Expressions online store and the others are some misc ones from Michaels.
I used the Verve Beautiful Kindness set. I also glittered the butterfly and colored it with copic markers. I stamped the swirly thing with kiwi kiss ink.
