Hip Hip Hooray!!

Yeah, I finally got my computer back! My wonderful daughter fixed it for me. Funny thing that apple says they don't get virus's but my computer did. So Kati spent some time talking to Apple and fixing my computer for me!! I love having a family member that can do that for me!!

This card is another sneak peek from the new occasions catty going live next monday! I love this day! It is so festive and you can do so many things with it! These papers are really yummy also! The ice cream cones are adorable!!

Birthday Greetings!

Here a couple more sneak peaks from the new occasions catty going live next week!!
I love this pop out die. It is so fun!! The picture really doesn't do it justice! But it is fun!

Also see the cute teacup it is sitting on?? My great friend Joan took me to a teahouse last week for an early birthday treat and I treated myself to this cup. It is gorgeous. It has two of my favorite things on it. Pink and Roses!!
Since today is my birthday I thought it would be fun to post this card today!!
I am sitting at my computer trying out my heated slippers my daughter got me for christmas!!
Stay tuned for more birthday cards I will be featuring at a Birthday Stampin Up class in January!!

Birthday Bash Class at Main St!

These cards are for my Birthday Bash Class at Main St Stamp and Stationary. I have used the Art Impressions Frosting Spinner Stamp and turned it into a shaker card. I just love this little mouse holding his cupcake. Anyone that knows me very well knows I loove cupcakes!! I just think he is adorable!!! I haven't made a card like this for a long time and it was really fun.
The bicycle card is made using a sizzix die set and the stamp is actually from Sizzix also!

Flower Basket Class!

I think I am finally done with making christmas cards, christmas tags, christmas gifts! I have been making them since August. So this project was nice and springy and a great change.
Although, then I watch Christmas movies and feel the urge to make more christmas cards!!

I had a lot of fun with this project. It will be my first class in January at Main St Stamp and Stationary!

It is made with a fun sizzix die set. It comes with the flowers and everything. It did even come with a butterfly but I didn't realize that at first so I used a Tim Holtz butterfly die. It is a new die that sizzix put out and it was fun to use.

If you want this flower basket to be for something specific you could put a greeting in the middle of the flowers, or along the bottom of the basket. I think it would be very versatile!

Sneek Peek!

This card was made using all new products that will be available starting January 5th in the new Occasions catalogue. This is much prettier in real life. But I just love this detailed heart die, and it is cut out with Blushing Bride Glimmer paper. The paper itself is just Gorgeous!!!
You can see a couple of the new papers behind the card also!
I can't wait to get my hands on some of the new things coming out sooner. A couple of more days and I will be able to pre order and get my hands on these little goodies! Then I can make some samples to share with all of you and start getting ready for January classes!!!

Fun Gift Tags!

I waited for along time to get this set. I wasn't actually going to get it. But then my daughter was wrapping some presents in penguin papers so I decided I would get it and make some gift tags.
This is one of the gift tags. There are more to come.
I used the Snow Place and Snow Friends stamps and dies. Which come as a bundle so that makes it really nice.
I think he is just so cute and so is the snowman. I still need to play with the baby snowman on some tags.
Also its really nice to know that this bundle will be carried forward into the new occasions catty.

If you are a regular customer you will be getting the Occasions and the new Sale A Bration catties in the mail really soon.
If you are not a regular customer and would like to be one please let me know and I can get them out to you! I even have a spare. So just send me an email and you can get one before my regular customers do!!!

Christmas Gift Card (And a Christmas Tree)!

This card is a gift card holder. I am making them for my hubbys business. I am just hoping that the recipients will see the gift card and not miss it. I might just write a little note for them on the inside of the card to tell them not to miss the gift card on the front.
I have used all Stampin Up products for this card (except the gift card)! But the idea was taken from Gina K designs Stamp Tv video from the last couple of weeks. It just shows that just because you see a sample you like it doesn't have to be made with the exact same products. Substations and making it your own are great!!

Something that is also great is the christmas tree in my stamp room. I had to move things around a little but I love it in here. I can enjoy it much more than the living room. Plus we really don't have room for the tree in there. Thats why I was lucky enough to get it!!!

Reindeer Gifts!

I saw this cute little reindeer and couldn't resist making it. I think he is so cute!!! He is made using the owl builders punch, a circle punch and the chalk talk tag dies.
I put some googly eyes on him to make them pop out more and his nose is made with the red glimmer paper.
I put a bottle of glitter glue, tomboy glue and a couple of candies and candy canes in each gift and put them in a french fry box.

Peaceful Pines Gift Bag!

I am so excited that the Peaceful Pines stamp set and dies are returning in the next Occasions Catalogue. I love this set. Although there isn't a guarantee it will carry over into the new catty next year but thats another year to worry about.
The last demonstrator meeting I went to, the challenge was to make something that you would use as packaging for a gift. So I came up with this gift bag.
It is made the same as one of the cards I made. I love the technique for the way this tree is done. It is embossed with white embossing powder on Crumb Cake cardstock. Then you use a water paint brush with Tempting Turquoise ink and do a wash over it and then die cut it out. The tempting turquoise over the crumb cake looks a lot like lost lagoon. So that is the matching ink I used with it!

This is a class tomorrow night at my house. It is like the old fashioned lifesaver boxes.
I know I have posted a different one like this using different stamps already.
This one is using the Peaceful Pines Bundle. I just love this bundle and am so glad it is carrying over to the new catalogue.

Peaceful Pines! (And Great News!)

I havent posted in a little bit because I am still having problems with my new computer. But I just love it so I havent fired up this old one. I still have my bills on this one and had to pay some so I decided to post my photos using this.
I just love the Peaceful Pines Bundle. I have been using it alot lately. I think I will ended up with three workshops with it before christmas.
And it is one of the weekly deals this week. Not the bundle but the stamp set. It is a great set!!
I love the vintagey feel to this card. I also finally used this ribbon, I have had it for quite awhile and never knew what to do with it. So I think I will make up a bunch of these for my christmas cards and use up some of this great ribbon.
You can see all of the products I used for this project below!
Now for my great news! Well, its not my news! But for the first time stampin up is going to have a retired list for the Occasions catalogue. They have never done this before. So this is really exciting!
It will be coming out tomorrow!
So stayed tuned for that!

Shake Your Booty Reindeer!

These two cards are for my next class at Main St Stamp and Stationary in Tigard.
The reindeer is from Art Impressions Shake Your Booty collection. When you flick the reindeers rump it jiggles and makes the bell ring. Its very funny!
The trees are from Elizabeth craft designs and the papers are from Bobunny.
I hope this class does well.
I am having it the 24th of this month.
The top card also uses the same paper collection. I made it using some scraps and also dies from Elizabeth Craft designs.

Art Impressions Santa Card!

I wanted to make a card with this santa that was not a spinner card. So this is what I came up with.
I used the sketch from Retro Sketches Challenge! (Yeah, I learned how to copy and paste on this computer!).
I used BoBunny Dear Santa Festive designer papers layered with red cardstock on a white card base.
I added some ribbon across the card with a bow on the side and some rhinestones. Also the santa suite and his beard have Clear Wink of Stella on top and his fur has glitter on it.
This is one happy santa!!

Peaceful Pines Candy Box!

How many of you remember the lifesaver card boxes you always use to get for Christmas when you were young? Maybe I am dating myself but I seem to remember getting them a lot.
This candy box is like that. Only its filled with much yummier candy! Dove Dark Chocolates!!
My favorite candy!!
I used the Peaceful Pines stamps and dies again for this project. I am really liking this set. There are three sizes of stamps and dies for the trees so that is a great deal. Lots of different fun images.
The papers I used for this set are fun also.
They are from the Merry Moments designer series papers. These papers come in two different sizes. They come in a 6 x6 pack in the Holiday catalogue and 12 x 12 in the regular catalogue so you have your pick of which you would like.
If you would like to purchase any of these products, I would love it if you contacted me or just go to my online store to place an order. You can find it to the right of this entry!

Curvy Keepsake Carriage!

I found this cute little carriage on pinterest and just had to make it. I think it is the cutest little thing.
There are so many different ideas out there for the Curvy Keepsake Box Die from Stampin Up.
Mine tilts a little to one side. Its a little difficult to get all of the wheels centered exactly.
I was going to provide the link to the website for this cute little carriage but unfortunately I just got a new laptop an am still learning how to use it. It is a Mac computer which I have never used before. I am compiling a list of questions for Kati to help me with and coping and pasting is on that list.
So when I learn that I will come back and edit this with the direct link to person I cased this idea from. I believe she is in Germany and her video was in German but I still got the general idea. I know there is probably a way to translate but I just watched it and then figured out what I needed to do.
Her photos are also a lot better than mine to show how adorable this little carriage is.

Christmas Card Class!

These cards are for a class I am teaching at Main St Stamp and Stationary this tuesday evening in Tigard!
It will be my first class of this kind at a store. I am really excited and very nervous. But hopefully, I will be fine once it gets started.
For the christmas tree card, we will be doing the white tree card. But I wanted to try it out with a tree not quite as fat and I also had the filigree die cut piece already cut out in white so I decided to make my card with the skinny tree just the opposite as the fat tree card. I also forgot the red ribbons on the green tree until after I put on the rhinestones. I decided I liked it like that and just put glitter on instead.
I will be making a display board for the class with the two different options so everyone can see two ways for this card.
The poinsettia card was fun to make also. When I make an extra sample card I will be turning the dsp papers over and using the other side.
So if you like these cards and live in the area give Main St a call and sign up for the class!!

Art Impressions Reunion Blog Hop!

Welcome to the ART IMPRESSIONS DESIGN TEAM REUNION BLOG HOP! You are coming here from TAMMIE KOEHNEN !
Art Impressions is having a Reunion Design Team Blog Hop. We are introducing the Spinners! They come with front and back stamps of the image and matching dies. They are made to spin when the card is open. So you twist the image up really tight. Then slide it into your envelope. When the lucky recipient of this card pulls it out of the envelope and opens it the image spins. It is a great idea!! I just love it!
I am using Santa Spinner. I have colored my images using copic marker colors R20, 27, 37,39, N2, 7, 9, YR000, 00, W5, 6 and a clear Wink Of Stella pen. The Santa Spinner number is 4678 and die set 4697 .

WONDROUS WREATH! (Also Weekly Deals and Clearance Rack Items!)

I resisted this stamp set and die for along time. Then I finally decided to get it. (I actually need to work on the project that made me decide to get it!!). I really like it. Its easy to stamp and easy to cut out. It has little tabs on the stamps and die to line them up. Easy Peasy!!!
I used Real Red, white and red glimmer papers. The bow is red glimmer. I cut a hole in the white base of the card for the red to show thru. I felt the card needed some yellow and didnt have any yellow rhinestones. I could have used stickles for it but instead I colored my clear rhinestones yellow with a sharpie marker. It worked great. The one on the bow actually looks gold but in real life is yellow.
I die cut the Joy in silver foil paper. I'm not sure if I like the Joy. I think it needs to stand out more. Maybe silver glimmer paper? What do you think?
I would love some comments on it telling me your opinion!!
You can get the Wondrous Wreat stamp set and dies in a bundle. Its a great deal! You get 15% off the set when you buy the bundles.

Beautiful Bunch!

I wanted to make a few of these cards but didnt have enough papers for them so I used different papers on them out of the same paper pack. I liked how both of them turned out.
I think these turned out to be great fall cards. I have been making so many holiday cards lately I wanted to make something that wasnt a holiday but still great for the season.
I colored the flowers and leaves with copic markers. Also I forgot in my list of supplies below that I also used Birthday Blossoms for the leaves. I added some rhinestones and colored them with a brown sharpie to make them match the flower!
You can color any rhinestones or pearls with sharpies to match your projects. It works great!
I went to Michaels and used a 40% off coupon and got a great deal on a 12 pack and got a great range of colors.

Reason For The Season! Again!

This is the latest Reason For The Season card I made. I used the outline poinsettia stamp for this card. I also love the greeting on this one. I am glad that it fit.
In the background is the Berries and Boughs Embossing Folder. It is almost two big for a normal size card. So if you look closely you can see on my card why it is very important to watch where you line up your cardstock before running it thru your embossing machine!!
Stayed tuned later this week and I will show which of three of the four Reason For The Season cards that will be in my Reason For The Season workshop later this month!!

Another Reason For The Season!

Here is another card made with Reason For The Season! I used the sketch from Mojo Monday for the layout of the card!
I used the SU Gold Glimmer paper for the poinsettia. I had a hard time gluing this together. I made two of the poinsettias. The first one took all day to dry and I used tombow glue for it. The other one I used glue dots and they worked pretty good. I think next time I do something like this I will try my hot glue gun.
Stayed tuned for another card coming this week using Reason For the Season.
I will be holding a workshop with some of the cards using just this set. I used every stamp but one greeting for this set!! Also you can get the stamp set and the poinsettia punch in a bundle in the holiday catalogue. If you would like to order these great products just send me an email or go thru my online store and you can be making great projects with this bundle in just a few days also!!

Reason For the Season #2

This is another card I did with the SU's Reason For The Season stamp set. I love how the two cards made with the same set are total opposites.
For these two cards I will be doing another christmas card class. I will come up with one more card to go with these last two with this same set. Hopefully it will be totally different also.
I love the papers for this card. The poinsettia paper is from the Season of Cheer Dsp pack. The printed paper is from the Current In Color paper pack using a sheet of the Mossy Meadow.
I have added some red ribbon. The poinsettia is stamped three times. Once in Always Artichoke ( I had loaned out my Mossy Meadow ink pad), and then Real Red. I watered colored the poinsettia just a little bit with a Clear Wink of Stella pen to give it a little bit of shimmer, but it doesnt really show up in the picture. One of the greetings from Reason For The Season is stamped in Always Artichoke.
I have used Deco Labels Collection Thinlits die cut with white and Mossy Meadow cardstock. I have also made a white card base with a thin Mossy Meadow layer in between. The buttons on the bottom right are the Home For Christmas Designer Buttons.

Reason for The Season!

Wow, looks like it has been a long time since I have posted anything. One reason is I have been having some problems with my arm that I think may be related to too much computer usage and two some problems with getting onto blogger when I do want to.
Any hoos, here is a card for you! I think it turned out quite stunning!
I will have a list of supplies below!!
I did forget to list the dazzling diamonds glitter and I also embossed the greeting with some home grown embossing powder. I mixed glitter and silver embossing powder together to give it some extra sparkle. Also I used the Softly Falling Textured Embossin folder. This is a 6 x 6 folder.

Holiday Catalogue is Live!

The Holiday Mini Catalogue went live yesterday!! Yeah!!
I made this card with supplies from it. This dsp is one of my favorites! I think it is so pretty and this particular one I used I think can be used for summer also.
This is the new set called Among The Branches. The Paper is from the Into the Woods Collection. I have also used the ribbon from the Into the Woods Collection and the washi tape from Happy Haunting collection.
I embossed the greeting with Gold embossing powder on Tangelo Twist cardstock and then punched it out with my 2" punch and layered it on Rich Razzleberry with the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch.
Remember if you would like a Holiday or the Main catalogue I would be happy to get one to you.
If you would like to place an order or even sign up as a demonstrator I can do that to.

I used Leaflets Framelits and Vintage Leaves stamp set. I went to Salem to borrow these from my sis while I was waiting for mine to come.
My colors for this project are Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry. The card is even prettier in real life!
I also used the Among the Branches stamp set for the little leaves stamped around. This set is in the new Holiday Catalogue that goes live tomorrow!!!
So come and join us at the sketch challenge. There are only two days left!!!!
