2nd Post for Today-Sparkle Creations Challenge!

Here is my card for Sparkle Creations Challenge. This is suitcase Ruby. I think she is sooo cute. I didnt have a nestibilities to fit her so I just cut her out. Also no sentiment I liked so I made this one out of beads. She really looks like she is saying Am I there Yet?!
I colored her with copics and added some flowers.

4 Challenges-One Card!

Edited: I realized when I went to post my card on two of the challenges I was one day to late. One let me add my card anyway but one didnt.
Anyway, I hope you like my card!

For this card I used the adorable cowgirl tilda from magnolias. I also used the cactus.
My pattern paper is from Creative Imaginations. I wish is showed more because it has cute cowboy boots all over it.
I used baja breeze, pretty in pink and early espresso cardstock from stampin up and colored her with my copics. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations also from stampin up.
I used a pink glaze pen on her boots and hat.
The four challenges are:
Sketch-Just Magnolias
Magnolia Down Under- use pink, orange, brown, blue and green
Totally Tilda-Stitching
Magnolicious Highlites-Birthday Sentiment
I hope I got these all straight. If not you will just have to go check them all out.

Birthday Card!

You know, I am stamping all the time and I am always late sending out birthday cards. Why is that? In August for stamp club we always have a birthday party because there are three birthdays. This is one of the cards I made. I had to hurry and make them the night before also. I can take total credit for this because I cased it off someone else and unfortunately dont remember who.
But it was really quick simple and speaks for itself. Yesterday I was hurrying to make another last minute birthday card and did it in purple. But since I didnt have a sample forgot the doda at the top of the ribbon but it still turned out pretty.

OCLDT28!

Here is my card for the Our Craft Lounge challenge for this week. OCLDT28. I love this little fairy girl. She is the one we used to practise hair and skin color on at class last week.
I found this pretty paper at Craft Warehouse. I think it goes perfect with her. I put stickles on her wings and gold and pink smooches on her crown. She is colored with copic markers.
I hope you enjoy her!

Goodie Pile!

Just thought I would share a picture of all my goodies I bought over the weekend trip. I got lots of pattern papers. At least a two inch stack, magnolias, punches, a hello kitty cricut cartridge, embellishments, sizzlets, cuttlebug embossing folder all kinds of goodies. Cant wait to play with them. So far I have made the one OCL card and part of a magnolia card.
I cant wait to go back to the stamp store in Coos Bay next month. They are so cool. I probably already mentioned this in one of my emails. But they have things there I have never seen in a store before. Just online. All the upto date toys you can imagine.
There is also a cool store in Florence. So if you get a change to get down that way, go to  Rosies Art Carnival in Florence and then Memories of Time in Coos Bay, but be sure to save up 1st cuz you will sure need it. Both the owners are real sweet also.

Copic Class Goodies!

Here are the goodies from class. We did the two cards, the snowman and the halloween tag. Plus we got this great sheet for coloring hair and skin. It is one of the fairies from the Fairy Dust is a Must set. Her little head is made larger. It was fun coloring her. As you can see if you look close enough the ones on the bottom were already done. But I have done the ones on the top. I love the one with pink hair and grey and white hair. We recieved the packet of goodies on the left. It has a stamp set, a bottle of  copic reinker, a couple of flowers, a mister bottle and a bottle of perfect pearls. The reinker, mister bottle, and perfect pearls were to make your own glimmer mist and you could use it on the flowers if you wanted.
While we were making the tractor card a couple of girls were singing She Thinks My Tractor is Sexy by Kenny Chesney and I had never heard it so one of the gals downloaded it on her phone and put her phone in the windowsill, so we all listened to She thinks My Tractors Sexy while coloring our tractor images. I thought that was pretty cool. Very fun. It may sound hokey but I guess its one of those moments when you just had to be there. We started out in class doing the flower card. We learned to use the T copics to shade in where we wanted it darker. I had no idea T stands for Toner. I thought it was just another shade of grey. See I did learn something in class. Also the theme for the day was "Just Do It". This meant just give it a try and practise if you want to get better. I didnt show a bigger image of the cards because I smudged the ink on the sentiment of the flower card and havent fixed it yet.

OCLDT27!

Here is my picture of Cami and myself after class at her grandmothers apartment. I had a great time getting to know her.
Also my card for the blog challenge at Our Craft Lounge. Now that I have all my great new OCL stamps I can participate every week with a different set. This week I used Coastal Wishes set for this card. I also used some sea themed patterned paper I got at MOT store in Coos Bay. I purchased several sea stamps there also. I cant wait to play with them. Just a few of them are the magnolia mermaid and seahorse.
I thought the sentiment relax and enjoy was perfect for how I felt about the weekend.
Today is my first day back to work after a great week so I will have to keep reminding myself of that sentiment all day long today. But after work I am going to go to Craft Warehouse to get things I need for stamp club for this saturday that I couldnt find with all the shopping I did.

2nd Post Today! Pictures of Our Weekend!

So here are so pics of class. We had a fabulous lunch. Isnt the cake adorable? They made if for a gal that is getting married. The bread for the sandwiches cracked me up. It was shaped just like lips. The girls made everything themselves the day before. There was yummy potatoe salad, spinach dip to die for, sandwiches, brownies, cookies and of course the cake. I was really sugared out so I didnt have any cake but the other gals said it was really great.
If any of you ever get to Coos Bay, you have to stop at this store. And I spent so much money I got free tickets to the scrapbook convention next month here in Portland.
Stay tuned for more great pictures this week. (Especially the tractor story!).

Copic Class and Great Weekend!

Hello!
This weekend my friend Joyce and I went to Coos Bay to take a copic marker class. It was taught by Cambria Turnbow. She is the co-owner of Our Craft Lounge. Also Kisa and Joy were teaching the class too. I had emailed Cammie and asked her if she would be willing to teach a class and she said yes. So Joyce and I drove down for the weekend.
It was the best weekend ever!!!!!!!!! All three ladies teaching the class were super. I told them I loved the class but also its like going to a good restaurant. If you get a great waiter or waitress it makes the experience so much better. They were great waitress's. Also after the class they invited us over for coloring. We all hung out and colored stamped images. This may sound funny to some but if you are a true copic lover (addict) which Joyce and I diffently are you would understand.
We had so much fun. The class was held at the local scrapbook store Memories of Time. We got there friday afternoon. We had to make a few stops on the way down. First in Lincoln City to go to the scrapbook store there that is going out of business. We waited for about 1 hour for her to show up so we went to the coffee/kitchen/gift shop next door. I purchased two painted wine glasses there. One for Katis apartment with grapes on it and one for myself that says shopping girl with a girl and shopping bags painted on it (look for it in my picture of treasures I purchased later this week). I thought the shopping girl wine glass was very appropriate for myself and the weekend. We also went to Joannes Fabric.  Then we headed south. Had lunch at Moes's in Florence (Yummy!) and found a stamp store there. A very nice lady had just taken it over this week. She named is Rosies Art Carnival (I think). Great lady and store there also.
After lunch and Rosies we headed into Coos Bay. Found our hotel. Red Lion Inn just down from the Old Mill Casino. We got all settled in and decided to run by the scrapbook store to see if Cammie or anyone was there early setting up. They werent but there was another class setting up and the owner Michelle (another wonderful!!!! lady) said even tho the store was officially closed we could look around. Her store is THE MOST WONDERFUL store I have ever been in. Tons and Tons of stuff. All the latest things I have only seen online, not in any other stores. You know those stores that are As Seen on TV???? This was what her store was like only as seen online. We thought we were in heaven. But we didnt want to shop because on saturday when we took the class we go 20% off. But Michelle let us pick all our stuf and she held it until the class. PLUS she gave us a very cool Memories of Time bag to put it in. How cool is that?
Sunday we packed up, had breakfast and headed home.
What a great weekend. And thats not all!!!! I signed up for another class there next weekend!!! I cant wait! Its water colorering with distressed inks. I have seen so many gals on blogs color that way and looove it. So I know you're thinking thats a long way to go for a class but my hubby and I were heading south next month anyway for a mini vacation and it was that same weekend. How cool is that???? So I asked him if he cared and he said nope go ahead. So he will check out the local Harley Davidson store while I have fun. We already checked and there is one right in town.
So stay tuned for my weekend adventure pictures.

Here is a pansy card I did using serendipity's pansy stamp. I also used a martha stewart punch, nesties, daffodil delight, almost amethyst, and concord crush su cardstock. Some misc ribbons.
I added some dew drops. I also used su natural white cardstock. The coloring with copic markers on this cardstock combined with the glitter didnt turn out as well as I would have liked but oh well, you cant love them all right?

Facebook Card

I made this card for a friend that talks about being on facebook all the time but it could be used for emailing also. It is a digital image from Mo Manning. She also has rubber stamps also. I know more and more online sites are carrying her images. One of them is stamping bella.
I colored her with my copic markers and then just played around to get the card the way I wanted it. I was going to use flower soft or something like it on her robe but got in a hurry and didnt. I like how she turned out tho.

Papertrey Ink!

I finally used my new papertrey ink dies. They are on the teapot and the teatime sentiment. There is one more that is a teacup that I didnt use on this card. They are fun too use but you have to use the dies 1st and then stamp the matching image. It works pretty good since the stamps are clear.
I love these papers I used. Also the embossing folder was fun too.

2nd Post today! Three Challenges!

I love this little bubble magnolia. She is sooooo cute!!! I think she qualifies for three different challenges this week. One is tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com. Have you seen all of Taylors new stuff this week? She has some great new dies. Anyway this week is TESC123. Also flutterbys wednesdays, it has to have a fairy or butterfly. I think this tilda counts as a fairy since she has wings. Also I am entering in my first challenge at stamp and create.
Their challenge this week is to have flowers. So I do have flowers on this. The paper has flowers also. The paper is some I picked up at the High School Pharmacy in Silverton. For a Pharmacy they have a great selection on papers and other fun stuff. I added some dew drops as bubbles. I hope you can see them.

Great Impression House!

I got a few of the great impression stamps for this month. These are two of them on this card. I may modify the card some because I dont like how the sentiment turned out but I really want it on the front of the card. So we will see how it goes. I made the house spotted to match the paper. This is some more of the papers I used on the girl with the ice cream cone card. I was stamping with my good friend Alice yesterday and she said I was really on a purple kick because every card I made matched my purple finger nails. Not sure why I was using so much purple but I had everything around me so why not. I was also working on a birthday card for Kati. Her birthday is tuesday. I cant believe she will be 23. Where does the time go?
