Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Even tho I am a day late.
I dont have any projects to share right now. I have recieved christmas card orders for over 100 cards. So I am busy this weekend making them and not something new!
I found a good glue for things like glitter, flower soft and sparkly fluff. I almost ran out of glue at stamp club. I really hate to run out of things when I am in the middle of stamp club. I feel like I am letting everyone down. Then I had a conversation with one of the gals. I store had just started selling flower soft and the owner told her that you can use anything it will stick to. Dont buy special glue. I have always used Art Institute Glue for glitter but it is spendy and hard to find these days. Then my flower soft glue quit sticking. So when I got home I tried good old Elmers glue. And you know what it works GREAT!!! I got it out of the tool closet in the laundry room. I just love getting things like this at home depot. Then the money I save on it I can spend on the other yummy stamping things out there. So mounting tape and elmers glue will always definately be on my list for home depot.
So I have been using my cricut lately. I am working on Hello Kitty cards for a birthday gift for a gal at work. I am really having fun with that. Then yesterday Kati said a gal at work wants her to make a sign for massage gift packages. My hello kitty cartridge has an adorable snowman and I will use some of the snowflakes I have been making.
So stayed tuned for some Hello Kitty things and cute snowmen.

Furry Snowman!
Doesnt this little guy look all warm and cozy? I stamped and colored him. Then I added Flower Soft on his scarf and hat. He looks all bundled up for a snowy day.
He is also going to be a project for stamp club next week!

Blue Christmas!
This is a quick little card that will be a stamp club project. It was very simple. I stamped the snowflake and ran it thru the cuttlebug with a nestie. Then I inked around the edges with stampin ups new Marina Mist and ran it thru my xyron upside down so the front was sticky and glittered it. I used a skinny about 1 inch embossing folder w/swiss dots along the top of the card. Added ribbon and a sentiment and was done. Its very quick, easy and I think elegant.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge!
This is my card for the current Magnolia Down Under Challenge. The challenge was to make your own emblellishments so I ran the stampin up snowflake die thru the cuttlebug with vellum and blushing bride stampin up cardstock and added the greetings on the bottom left of the card and then used the same die on the upper right with a rose thru the middle so it is a snowflake rose. On the lower right I tied a bow with a pin with a pearl thru it and a flower on top. I colored this little tilda blowing bubbles with my distressed re inkers. I really liked how she turned out. Then I added stickles to her wings and her bubbles and clear pearly smooch to her dress and skin to give it all a shimmer. I took two different pictures. One is lighter but the glare doesnt show how the distressed inks are colored and the other one is darker and shows the coloring better. I love this little tilda blowing bubbles.
If you want to check out the Magnolia Down Under blog and challenges you can find it here.

Christmas Magnolia!
This card is so much prettier in real life, but I am just not good at taking the pictures. Oh Well. So I made this little christmas tilda with the amaryllis for two challenges. The first one is for Just Magnolia Challenge. You were supposed to add beads to your card. So I glued those teeny tiny gold beads all around the edge of the image. There is also a bead on the pin. I also used the sketch challenge from Fussy and Fancy Friday. You can just click on the link to check them and their sketch out. I actually used the distressed inks for coloring this tilda that I learned at my class in Coos Bay. I think I am finally getting the hang of it. Last night I was working on the tilda blowing bubbles image. She turned out Beautiful!, even if I do say so myself. I cant wait to turn her into a card.
The papers I used on this card I just got at the local scrapbook store on friday. The are totally not what I would normally buy but I just fell in love with them for some reason. (and a lot of others too. my poor checkbook!). These papers are from We R Memory Keepers and this is the Merry January line. There are at least 6 different ones in this line I think. Since the papers had a vintage feel to them I added the little antiquy looking angel at the top left corner. Then I put the bow on the bottom left with one of the roses and the pin. The flowers on the top are two different kinds I put together. Then I put sugar glitter all over the flowers. I dont know if it shows very well in the photo but it is very pretty.
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

Another Challenge!
I made this cute little christmas card using the sketch from the Simple Betty Sketch challenge here. It didnt say you had to use their stamps so I hope I didnt because I didnt. I used this cute stampavie bear again. I like this card using him alot better. I pulled some christmas papers out of last years stash and paired it with stampin ups Cherry Cobbler cardstock. My new favorite. I used some glitter pens on the stocking and flowers but it doesnt show up very good in the photo.
