Triple Easel Card!

This was a fun card to make and I think it is going to be one of the cards we will be making at our Fun Fold Class coming up on February 19th.
I got the idea from Jan B Cards . You can check out her blog by clicking on her name. She has some great projects. She used totally different projects for her cards but I knew I wanted something different.
I have used the Tropical Oasis designer series papers, Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and In the Tropics Dies. This is a really fun suite. I love all of it. It also has a Memories and More card pack that has some Flamingos in it!! I will be doing something with those one of these days also.
This card does fit in a regular envelope when you lay it flat.

Spring Banner!

Here is my Spring Banner. It is for class coming up next wednesday February 5th. The deadline to sign up for this class is this Friday January 31st.

I made this banner with the awesome Peaceful Poppies Designer Series papers, Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green cardstock.

I love the Little Ladybug stamp set and starting February 4th there are also dies to match, while supplies last so if you want these get them quick. Spring Banner Sneek Peak!

My Spring Banner Class is coming up in two weeks and I am working on my sample today. I have put together the key ingredients for it and here is a sneek peak of it. I am using the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Papers for this and pairing them with Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade Cardstock. Officially the green to go with these papers are Old Olive but to me the green is lighter in a lot of the prints and I want to go for a lighter more springy green. So I am choosing Granny Apple Green which I think goes really well with these papers.
I am also using the Little Lady Bug stamp set out of the Sale A Bration catalog. It is available for free as a host gift with a $300 purchase or workshop order, and the Ladybug Dies which will be available starting February 4th thru March 31st while supplies last.
I will be using some other things also. Maybe some cute little umbrellas for the spring rain and who knows what else.

Graces Garden

As soon as I saw this set in the new Mini catalog I was in love with it! It is so adorable. It has the cute cute and arbor. Also the little kitty.
For the background I inked the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder with Soft Suede ink ran it thru with a soft suede cardstock. I love the look of it. The arbor is cut right out of the paper so you can see thru to the inside. You have to cut the fence to make it into the gate but that is really easy to do.

Mini Catalog Premier Party!

Tomorrow is my 4th Annual Catalog Premier Party! I do these three times a year when a new catalog comes out. Then Mini (previously called the Occasions) with Sale A Bration, the Annual catalog in June and the Holiday catalog in September. This year I am adding a 4th one in March. I am calling it the Celebrate the Annual Catalog. I personally neglect the Annual catalog all year except June thru August when its the only catalog. So I am giving it two different Partys!
Usually I have always made a bag of some kind to put the project kits in. This time I decided to make a box. I totally designed the box myself this time which is something I don't do a lot of. There are so many great ideas out there and I am not an architect so to design a 3-D project myself is a bit of a challenge. Although I have been doing it more as I learn.
So I made this box and it is a 6 x 6 inch box. Inside it as you can see I have 6 envelopes for the project kits, a pack of the gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones that are in the new Mini catalog and one fun diamond pen.
I just love this new suite. It is called the Parisian Blossoms suite. In this suite there are two stamp sets, two die sets, this gorgeous paper and for embellishments gorgeous pink metallic edged ribbon, the champagne rhinestones and the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder which I have used on the box.
I have a whole stack of fun products set aside for prize drawings tomorrow and a lasagna in the fridge I made ready to pop in the oven tomorrow.
We will have a full day of fun. The weather has been threatening us with snow all week but I think tomorrow starts the normal Willamette Valley 50 degree and lots of rain weather!

Honey Bee Bundle!

Here is a shaker card I made. I saw two cards in the new Mini catalog that I like, so I combine them and came up with this card. I am using the new Honey Bee Bundle. What is really cool is the Snow Globe set carried over from the Holiday catalog ad it works perfect to us with the bee hive.
I have one Bee on the inside and then the two on the outside like they are coming out of the hive. The ribbon is new out of the Mini catalog also, Mint Macaroon Sheer Linen Ribbon.
I wanted the background of the card front to have a little texture so I embossed it with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Whenever I just need a little something to add texture this is my go to Embossing Folder.

From My Heart to Yours!

Love You to Pieces!

Here are two of the same cards. I used a piece of dsp from the From My Heart. I used a different side of it on both of these cards and I think it gives it a whole different look.
These papers are so gorgeous and one side on most of the designs has some foil in it to give it an added glow.
I have been wanting to use the Love You to Pieces stamp set for about 2 years. I went to Wisconsin to visit family and two of my aunts and I put together a puzzle. So I bought this set to make cards for them and then have never done it. Maybe I will send them each a Valentines card instead.
I have used a few different pieces from Valentines stamp sets for this card. In addition to Love You to Pieces I have also used Meant To Be stamp set out of the annual catalog.
The two foil hearts have been punched out of the From My Heart papers with one of the new heart punches from the punch pack. You get two heart punches. One is scalloped and one is not and you can use them both to cut out hearts from the papers.
So much fun!

More Best Dresssed Suite!

Here is another set of 3 x3 cards. This time I made them to go in the little purse. I think this suite is just adorable. I've used the perfume, lipstick and shoes for this set of cards.  Also more of these gorgeous papers.  I just absolutely love these papers.
There are dies for the lipstick shoes and perfume bottle in this set, along with the cute little purse. There are also a couple of button, flowers, buckles and a handle for the purse.
I haven't made the purse die into a backpack yet but I will be doing that soon.

Hog Heaven by My Favorite Things!

I have a new friend and she loves little pigs. So I couldn't resist buying the Hog Heaven stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.
I made this card like the Ladybug card I posted recently. This is a tri-fold card. They are really easy and fun to make.
I stamped the pigs and colored them with watercolor pencils and wink of stella. They are so cute.
