Plum Tea Card

This card is just like my previous tea card that matched the calender. I was looking to see if I had any of the charms left I used for the calender and came across these teapot charms so I decided to go with the plum color. I used stampin ups perfect plum and pale plum. I used a different sentiment also still from the papertrey ink set Tea for Two.

Froggy Birthday Card!

Yesterday was my hubby's birthday so I made him this card. We have frogs in our backyard like 5 feet from the bedroom window that keep us awake most of the spring. You cant believe how unbelieveably loud they are. People say I love to listen to frogs. I used to too but when they are 5 feet from your window and in mating season from the March until the end of May and you dont get sleep you really end up not liking them. Anyway, now I have been buying frog stamps and papers. Go figure. So I saw this at a stamp store and couldnt resist the paper. Its from K&Co and is called Actopus To Zelephant Frogs. The color seems off alittle. The cardstock is a bazzill green and is much brighter in person. My sentiment is a Gina K set.
I think my hubby liked it but who knows???

Another Bernadette Card!

This is the other Bernadette card I did for Kraftin Kimmies Blog Challenge, "Get Stitched". I am not good at stitching and realized that the ribbon it double stitched, so thats my stitching. The designer papers are eskimo kisses by Basic Grey. I love these papers. I also used stampin up ribbon and cs purely pomegranate and pink piroutte cardstock. The flowers my friend Alice pointed me in the direction of a great tutorial by Stamped Art by Lisa. They are done with Martha Stewart punches. Mine are a little flatter than hers are but thats ok.I colored her a tiny bit differently than the other pink Bernadette card. I used my copic markers again.

Meet Oliver!

Meet Oliver. Isnt he the cutest? He is a new stamp from Kraftin Kimmies rubber stamps. I think he is just adorable. I colored him with copic markers. Then layered him on red. I put little white dots around the red. I wanted to give it a snowflake effect. The sentiment came with Oliver. The snowflake under the sentiment and beside Oliver are from sizzix. I ran the small snowflake thru my sticker xyron machine to glitter it and then glittered the snowflake under the sentiment with my glue pen and glitter. The ds papers are from bobunny. My cardstock is from stampin up, old olive and real red. This card is for Beate Johns WSC105.

Bernadette & KKSC5

This is Bernadette. She is from Kraftin Kimmie's Rubber Stamps. Isnt she adorable? I had to go pink with her because she is just too cute. This is for Kraftin Kimmies Blog Challenge, Get Stitched! I went for faux stitching and it didnt turn out very well. You can barely see it around the pink embossed piece. I used Basic Grey papers Eskimo Kisses and stampin up pink piroutte and whisper white. The ribbon is stampin up also. Some satin retired ribbon I think is purely pomegranate. I used my nesties and ran it thru the cuttlebug with the snowflake embossing folder. The snowflakes were made with a martha stewart punch and then I layered them with some little plastic flowers and a pink velevet brad.

September Calender

Here is my last calender! (Thank goodness!). I used Papertrey Inks Tea for Two set again. The papers is basic grey Indian Summer. I just love these colors and matched them up with stampin ups in colors again. Rich Razzleberry and Dusty Durango. I think I might have gone a little overboard with the rhinestones but I kept getting them two close together.

June Calender and TESC89

This is my calender for June. I didnt meet my deadline yesterday so I only got three calenders done instead of 4 but at least I feel I got a lot accomplished.

I used some Creative Imaginations papers I was saving to scrapbook some beach pictures. Hopefully I still have enough left. Also stampin up cardstock Not Quite Navy. The stamp sets I used is from Flourishes Seaside Life and Papertrey Inks Tea for Two. Its funny that both sets I used this weekend for my Tea/Coffee theme are named the same and from two different companies.

I made the matching card for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #89. I really like the way the card turned out. For some reason it reminds me of a quilt.

For the teapot I used the little sand dollar from the flourish set and reverse masked the teapot and stamped it across the front. Then I stamped the word seashells above that. I then used my diamond glaze to make it look like a real teapot. I really like the way the whole thing turned out.

Too Much Pink??!! Never!!!!

Of course anyone that knows me knows that I looooove pink! Its my absolute fav! So I saw this card done on Pickled Papers and loved it. So I had to use her colors and make it into a calender and card. You can visit her card here http://pickledpaperdesigns.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html.

My friend Alice and I have been trading calenders for years. Before that we did calenders with a stamp club we used to belong too. For next year Lynn decided to join us and we decided to make all our calenders at once so we would have a whole year at one time. Previously Alice and I were just giving them to each other one month at a time.

We each have 4 months to do. I decided to get mine all done this weekend and also to make a card to match each calender. Then I decided to have a theme for all 4 of my months. Can you tell what my theme is? Tea or coffee related.

I just got this set in the mail yesterday. I bought it because of the card I saw on Pickled Paper's blog. So I decided to use it for my 1st month. This set is called Tea for Two and it is by My Favorite Things. I love the little bunnies in the cup. I used basic grey papers from the bittersweet collection. Also pretty in pink and chocolate chip stampin up cardstock. The month is from hero arts and the calender is from Paper Inspiration. I used my oval nesties and for the month I used a stampin up sizzix die and the large oval punch. I used Our Craft Lounge's White Sparkly Fluff on the bunnies tail and Icicle stickles on the dots on the tea cup. I used several different flowers I had laying around and some stampin up brads and a martha stewart leaf punch. The ribbon is also from stampin up.

On the card I added a tag because I am also using the card for Kraftin Kimmies blog challenge this week is anythin with a tag.

This is my card for Kraftin Kimmies blog challenge. KKSC3. Shades of Autumn. I love this line of Basic Grey papers. Indian summer. I also love when we have an Indian summer. These papers are so gorgeous and match almost all of the incolor stampin up colors. I used crushed curry and soft suede cardstock and crushed curry ribbon. I found the little spoon charm I had had forever.
The stamp set is from Papertrey Ink and is called Warm Happiness. Dont ya just love that name? I added Yellow stickles on the spots on the cocoa cup. It makes me feel warm to just look at it.
