Retreat Project 2!

Here is another project we did at the retreat last Saturday. Again it is using the Broadway Birthday stamp set. I used different papers on this one that the papers that come in the Broadway Birthday suite.
This paper is from the Sweet Treats suite. This card is made using the stamparatus to get the Hooray's lined up and the dotted Hoorays on top of the solid. It works really well because you put your stamp on the plate just once and then the plate comes off of the stamparatus and you keep moving it down.
Its hard to tell here but the ice cream on the cones has wink of stella on top of them to make them a little sparkly.
The colors used are Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather and Melon Mambo. Even tho there isn't any Highland Heather in the dsp there is the rest of the paper pack. I used Gorgeous Grape ribbon to pull the purples together.

Project Bags!

Here is one of the bags from our retreat yesterday. They had their names on the white oval in the center of the pocket.
There was 7 projects in this bag and they had one more project also that didn't fit in the bag.
We had a great time at the retreat. Kati made us an awesome chocolate cake and also we had a Taco Bar.

Broadway Birthday!

Tomorrow is our Salem Spring Retreat. Except it actually is at my house instead of Salem this time.
Here is one of the projects we will be doing. I actually cased this card from Debbies Designs . She has some great projects.
Everyone will be getting this set tomorrow at the retreat. There are some great things in this suite. In fact one of the prizes tomorrow will be everything in this suite except the stamp set which they will already be getting.
These cards are fun to make and they fold flat to fit right into the envelope!

Easter Banner!

Here is an Easter Banner I made for the Leavenworth retreat! It came in these colors and a green and blue version.
I used the Best Bunny Bundle for this banner and the Large Alphabet dies. I sure love these dies and hope they carry over into the new catalog. Guess I will find out later today

Speaking of that, there is a retiring list coming out later today also. So once its out I will be posting it and letting everyone see it also!

Nine Lives!

Anyone that knows me knows that I love cats! If I had the time and money and room I would have tons of them. But I limit myself to two!!
We made this card at class this week. I really like this bundle and didn't have any trouble lining up the stamps. Its a three step stamp. But everyone else at class did. So we pulled out the stamparatus and then it was a little easier for them to line it up.
This set has so many awesome accessory stamps to go with the cat plus a couple of sentiments!

Embossing Folders!

I just love this embossing folder.  It was a free one during Sale A Bration. I think it would be perfect even for Christmas because if you made the blue flowers red they look like Poinsettias to me.
I like to do more with my embossing folders than just the standard embossing. So for this card I embossed the white cardstock and then colored it with ink pads and sponge daubers. I think this card is very springy.
I have also used up a few strips of my yellow gingham papers.

Flowering Desert!

This is a card we are doing in class next week. I thought no way do I want this set when I first saw it but it is really growing on me. Of course for those of you that know me, know that I love pink so I guess if I add pink I can like almost anything!
This card also gave me a chance to use the pink glimmer paper I fell in love with when it first came out. It is so pink and sparkly! Two of my favorite things!

Spring Lilies!

Here is the third project we will be making at the Easter class on Wednesday of this week. I made the lower card first but really thought it needed something else. So then I added some pink flowers and feel that really made it pop. The Lily stamp set is a Sale A Bration set that is available until the end of this month so you still have a few days to get it for free with a $50 order.

Fable Friends!

Here is a fun card I created using the Fable Friends stamp set. I think this little bunny is adorable. It comes with some other fun stamps too that you might be seeing coming up soon.

Case'd Bunnies!

Its been a really busy month! I cant believe how fast its going!
I don't know if I mentioned it but I am back to work three days a week. The Leavenworth retreat was the 2nd weekend of this month and our anniversary was last weekend so we went to the beach for a night!
So next week is my Easter class. Here is one of the cards we will be making. I case'd this from facebook and cant remember who the original creator was. I bought this Bunny Bundle because of this card. Now the whole bundle is un orderable unfortunately. Hopefully it will be back soon!

Painted Seasons Bundle!

Here is the third card I created for my class coming up on the 13th of March. I used the Painted Seasons Bundle which includes the stamp set and papers. Also the matching dies are available to purchase thru March.

I stamped the flowers in Poppy Parade and Grapefruit Grove and the leaves in Call Me Clover. I have added Calypso Coral 3/8" Satin Ribbon. I used Grapefruit Grove cardstock for layering on a white cardbase with a strip of Call Me Clover embossed with the Basket Weave embossing folder across the center.

Dear Doily!

I cased this card from Pinterest but changed it a bit. This card is made using the Dear Doily Bundle. It comes with a stamp set and a great set of doily dies. I just love it! I know my sentiment is a little crooked but oh well, what can you do?
I used Pineapple Punch and Mint Macaroon for the main colors. The flowers were sponged with inks and die cut with one of the dies from this set.
This is going to be one of the cards we will be doing at my next class on March 13th!

Here is a fun little card I made using the sketch from the sketch Saturday challenge this week. I knew I wanted to use this adorable set. It is the So Hoppy Together stamp set which you can get for free with a $50 purchase until the end of March. Also from March 1st-31st you can purchase the die set to match for $27. Treat Cups!

We had a challenge with our Stampin Up group to decorate one of the new Treat Cups. This is what I came up with. I used the new Painted Seasons Bundle that is a Sale A Bration item. It is a bundle from the second release and is free with a $100 purchase. It has papers and stamps for each season. I absolutely love the papers. The stamps are fun too. You can also purchase dies from the Sale A Bration coordination products that are available from March 1st - 31st. I don't have the dies yet so I fussy cut my images.
I saw the butterflies done like this on Pinterest but cant seem to find it again to give credit to that person. She used the Butterfly Bundle and papers and it was different than mine. I only used her flying butterfly idea and came up with the rest.
I choose the Just for You sentiment so it could be used for whatever you want. You can also put whatever you want on the inside too. I saw that the Little Debbie Cupcakes fit on the inside.

Baby Gift!

I needed a baby gift for a co worker. I was short on time because Thursday is her last day of work before maternity leave. So I went onto Pinterest and found a pretty card created by Ann at the Stampin Shach . Hers was pink but since my co worker is having a boy I went with Balmy Blue. I changed it just a little. My heat gun is all packed for the retreat so I didn't want to heat emboss. I also decided on a different greeting so I couldn't use the same die. So I did my own greeting and just gave the ends of each a little snip.
I used Animal Outing stamp set and matching dies for this cute little kangaroo. I also stamped it on the envelope and put some dsp on the envelope flaps. Since it was 6 x 6 dsp I had to use a few different patterns.
I like how it turned out and hope she will love her gift!
