Here is another Gina K Design card. I found this on her website also. I love this set and it was a free one that came with my last order. I used the acrylic block again. I loved the stamp she used in her sample and it is actually coming with an order I just placed. but I didnt want to wait.
I used Gina K cardstock that was in my same kit as the other card. I used SU Coastal Cabana ink. I stamped the image and sentiment in black and used a martha stewart border punch.
I sent this card to a friend that is going thru some hard times right now to try to help bring a smile to her face.

Gina K Designs!
I have been watching U-tube videos like crazy lately. I added the app to my mini ipad and can watch them all over the house and even when we sit outside on the deck. Very addicting!!!
This is one that I saw on her do. You do the background color by inking an acrylic block and stamping it on the paper. I realized as I inked it that I was inking the wrong side. You are supposed to ink the smooth side,(her whole block was smooth so thats why I didnt think about it). After I inked it I thought oh well, its already inked so might as well go with it. Then when I inked it and saw the tile look to it I really liked it better anyway. As I watched her video I realized I had the exact stamp set she used, So already having the stamp she used was an added bonus.
I had had a clear box of Gina K Designs products on my desk for literally months and never used them. She has a program called Stamp TV and she uses the products and you buy the kit. This one came with two large stamp sets, lots of ribbon, about 24 sheets of different colored cardstock, a 6 x 6 paper pack and some brads. You dont even have to buy the kit every month like some of the other stamp companies. So I made two cards yesterday from her videos with what I had on my desk. All I had to add was ink and the rhinestones. I could have used the black brads instead of them and really would have been set.

The Wedding Card!
I finally have a picture of the wedding invations we sent out. The card was a bit tie consuming but fun to make. First we had to draw the dress and then the suit was pretty easy except getting the buttons on straight and I found a punch for the bow tie which was fun.
I will be showing the card I made for the wedding gift soon. I looove it!!

Copic Class w/Marianne Walker from Copics
Yesterday I took a class at a local stamp store. It was a copic class taught by Marianne Walker who has worked for the Copic company for almost 14 years.
She taught the copic certifcation class I took years ago. I just love her classes!
We did this cute hula girl and the sunflower scene. Both of the images were created by Marianne.
She is a great artist and used to design for Our Craft Lounge before they went out of business.
It was a fun and interesting class.
She said there was a 5 hour class given from time to time for skin and hair. I would really like to take that class.

Shopping!
Yesterday Kati and I spent 12 hours shopping for a dress for me to wear to the wedding. Very depressing for me. I felt like a sausage.
Anyway did find a very cute dress that we both liked!

2nd Version for Elizabeth Craft Designs!
This is another version of the card I showed the other day. I love the word dies. I have used the thinking of you on this card. The butterflies I used the shadow die and then a sticker piece from the detailed die as a stencil and glittered them. Everything on this card except the designer paper is from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The pink shimmer paper on the front of the card is from her website also. The shimmer paper is really fun. You can emboss it and then either sand the embossed images for a white look or ink it with black ink to make it stand out.
The pink shimmer edges are cut out with the edgers die also.

Bridal Shower!
I know I mentioned last October that Kati and Dan were engaged. The set a wedding date about 4 weeks ago and it is coming up on August 9th. We are very excited. I made this card for her Bridal Shower invites. I made 70 of these cute little cards. I had found one like this on pinterest with the retired stampin up dress die. But since it was retired I couldnt use it. So I did have the spellbinders one.
So I used it and the skirt is made out of doilies. I think it turned out very cute.
I also made her wedding invitations. I neglected to keep one for myself and am trying to get one back. I may just end up making another but will see what happens.

Another Elizabeth Craft Design Card!
Here is another card I did with elizabeth craft design stickers and dies. They are super fun to make but a little time consuming!
I have colored the stickers with copics again. I did this one on acetate which I shouldnt have because the designer paper shows thru the flower image. But I guess thats okay!

Elizabeth Craft Designs!
I have fallen in love with a new company. It is Elizabeth Craft Designs. She has great video tutorials. I saw a card I liked at a stamp store and wanted to take the class. Els from Elizabeth Craft Designs was going to be here to teach it. It was going to be in Salem the next day also but unfortunately I was busy that weekend and couldnt take either class.
So I went online and found all her great tutorials and started ordering.
The image is a sticker you put on sticky paper and glitter it with microfine glitter. It has to be microfine. Nothing else works. Then I colored it with copic markers. Any alchohol inks will work. Not sure about other kinds.
The polka dot paper is actually one of the dies I purchased from her. It is just an edge die. The pink is some shimmer paper. If you look close you can see different colors in it.
I addes some flowers and buttons and some ribbon I have had forever.
I am so in love with her products I cant help myself!!
