Stampavie again!

I just love these stamps. They are from the Rachel Anne Miller line from stampavie. This one is called giving shelter. The sentiment if from Verve again. It is called circular saying. I colored it with copic markers. The ds paper is from stampin up. I also glittered the flower and parts of the snail. I think it is so cute and love the sentiment with it.

HollyBerry House

This card is for a class I am teaching on friday. It is a hollyberry house card. I havent done one of these in years. I had to dig around to find the papers I wanted for it. I could have put a sentiment at the bottom but I will leave that to the people at the class to decide. The papers are all bazzill. I embossed the image three times on three different colors. Then I cut it out and glittered it and then used mounting tape. I added the rhinestone for some extra sparkles and some lavender glitter from cod wholesale.

TECC64 Taylors Cupcake Challenge!

Hi! This is Daisy. She is a Sugar Nellie and has come to visit all the way from Scotland. Isnt she adorable? She decided to pose for me for Taylors cupcake challenge this week. www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com. I found this magenta paper when I was looking for something else. It has been stashed down in my cupboard for years and so I decided to use it with Daisy. The sentiment is from Verve and the other yellow paper is some yellow vellum I also found stashed in my cupboard. I didnt have enough yellow flowers so I colored some white ones yellow with my copic markers.
I think Daisy is so cute and just sitting there thinking. Probably about boys would be my guess.

Candles

Here are all the candles I made today.

I have a variety of colors and scents. I made 24 different candles and 32 tealights plus 6 tartlets. I would have made more tartlets but ran out of the

containers. Scroll down for more pictures and details.

Here are some more of the candles I made today.

The light pink is Victoria Secret Love Spell, The yellowish orange is Peach Iced Tea and the tan one is French Vanilla. There is one that is half french vanilla and blueberry. Then the other striped one is an oops that I forgot to put a wick in but it can go on a cup warmer. It is chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

The ones on the right will be really pretty with little bows on the necks.

Candles!

These are my chocolate sundae candles. They are french vanilla on the bottom and chocolate on the top. They look and smell so real that you just want to eat them up.

My hubby is craving cake now, I have to go to the store and get eggs and then make a chocolate cake. He is going on a motorcycle ride for the weekend and will be gone saturday and sunday so I want to make him a cake tonight.

Gifts for a Co-worker!

I made these for a coworker. She said her favorite colors were black and white and her favorite scent is vanilla. So I made 6 monogrammed cards an packaged them and a happy birthday card to match. The candle is vanilla and these will all go in a big plastic gift bag for her bithday. I hope she likes them. Her birthday is next week.

Kitty In A Bucket!

Isnt this kitty adorable? It is from Stampavie. I have been

wanting to make a card with grey and pink for awhile so I decided to do it with this stamp.

I colored it with copic markers. Used the swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder. The cardstock is pretty in pink and grey from stampin up. Also the happy hellos is from stampin up also Lots of Thoughts set.

I used two stampin up punches and the grey tafetta stampin up ribbon. I glittered a little here and there.

Blue Magnolia!

I was making 12 of these cards and coloring Tilda in sets of 4. When I got to the last four I decided to change the coloring of her hair ribbon and dress. I like this one much better. I really like the ds paper from stampin up. It is called a walk in the park. So I just had to show her in her blue colored dress instead of coral.

What do you think? Both my hubby and I like it the best.

Magnolia Tulip Girl!

Here is my very own magnolia stamp. My 1st one. I cant wait until the spring line becomes available. I really like the ladybug stamp and also the little girl with the bouquet of flowers and the stamp of flowers that is along side of her.

I kept this card simple. I really like the little girl and this stampin up ds paper. So I didnt want to drown those two things out. I like the saying with it also. It is from stampin ups For a Friend set. I think it was a hostess gift one year.

This little girl looks like she is just sitting there thinking of something or someone.

I am really tired today. My hubby went off to his parents for the day. I had to work an extra day this week and cant decide if I want to stamp, make candles or do nothing. We will see what happens. I have two Twilight books waiting to be read also that my daughter sent me. I dont know if I want to read either. I whole day to myself and I dont want to do much.

Yeah She has arrived!

Yeah! Shes finally here. I had to scour the United States to find someone that actually had her available and not on back order. I searched and searched until I found someone and they even sent it to me in a week.

Now I cant wait to actually use her. She is very cute.

This is my card for taylors cupcake challenge this week. TECC63 www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com.
I used the great impressions stamps that came out this month. The stamp of the month is the background stamp with the vines and flowers. I also used my nestibilities and copic markers. Stampin up lovely lilac cardstock. I am not sure where I got the ribbon. I put a little bow on top instead of the flower on the cupcake challenge. I also glittered the butterflies and the center of the flowers.
Now I am working on a magnolia card. My 1st magnolia stamp that is my very own and not borrowed.

Yeah! Exciting News!

I am so excited. Marianne Walker and her copic certification class is coming to Portland next month and I have been accepted!!!! I have been wanting to take one of these classes forever. Cambria Turnbow has been kind enough to help me find out about this and send them an email for me. Thank you so much for your help Cambria!!!!
So I will be much better at blending and coloring soon. I can hardly wait. Of course the hard part was getting time off work. It is on the worst day of the week for me but that worked out great too.

Stamping Bella Stamper Girl!

I just love this Stamping Bella Stamper Girl stamp. And the saying is "Priceless". But is is also so true. If we added up all the money we have spent on our great hobby I am sure it would be very

Stamp Club Invites!

These are my invites for stamp club this month. They are all Great Impressions stamps for April. I couldnt resist cuz the sample board had all but one in purple and the other one in turquoise. Some of my favorites colors. I am in the process of making 17 of them. I love pansys and teacups so I was totally lost on getting all these. I just couldnt help myself. Plus they were 30% off so what was a girl to do???

I used stampin ups lavender lace cardstock and nestibilities. Plus a cuttlebug embossing folder. Then I colored everything with copic markers and added some glitter, rhinestones and ribbon.

It would also make a great mothers day card.

No More Rain!

I didnt have any new cards to show today and I was looking thru old cards and came across this one. I made it last spring when it was raining so much. It is by Hanna stamps. I couldnt find a name on the package tho. I paper pieced the jacket, and stamped the background with boots. I did a lot of glitter on the umbrella and crystal effects on the rain drops.

I also used paper trey ink ribbon.

Another Whiff of Joy Card!

Here's another card with a Whiff of Joy stamp. It is a perfect card for our weather here in the Willamette. We have our umbrellas and hold our hands out and say rain again!?

Except, I have lived here all my life and have only used an umbrella that I can remember 2 or 3 times. Why bother? Just make a run for it. By the time you get out of your car and get your umbrella out and then get to where you are going and close your umbrella before entering the building you are just as wet as making a run for it. So just get out of your car and go!

I also used a great impressions background stamp and made my own background because I didnt have any designer paper to match these colors. I colored it with copic markers and used a verve sentiment set for the words. I also used stampin up punches and cardstock.

My 1st week back to work is over and I am so glad. Today was along day. I started at 8 and finished at 7:15. A very exhausting day. Now I am off to bed and then to enjoy my next three days off. My hubby is going on a motorcycle ride with his buddies on saturday so I get to stamp for the next two days. Then on sunday it is yard work. The spring/summer chores are beginning.
