Another Lots of Lavender Card!

Here is another card I made using the Lots of Lavender Sale A Bration set. I used the Lots of Labels dies. The greeting is from the new set Friendships Sweetest Thoughts. It is a cute little set.
The Lots of Lavender is a fun set. It is two step, first the outline of the flower and then fill in the color!
I have used the new Whisper White Organza ribbon for the bow and the new Striped Embossing folder.

Lots of Lavender!

 There is nothing Lavender about this card

but I love how it turned out!

I love these new designer papers. This one is Painted With Love. A lot of it is for Valentines Day but you don't have to use it for Valentines Day! I think the gold makes it look so elegant.
So I went with the gold theme and cut out 4 of the flowers from the Sunshine Wishes die set to make a border around my image. The image is from the Lots of Lavender set. It is a Sale A Bration set that will be available with a $50 purchase starting January 3rd!

Last Card for Card Box!

Here is the last of the four cards for my card box. Again it was made using the Sweet Soiree Suite and cased from the new Occasions catalog.
So I can get 4 cards with envelopes in my card box. It would make a great gift. The box and the cards are all birthday related.

Card Box Card #3 And The First Snuggle!

Here is my third card for my card box. I started out casing a card in the catty but it ended up totally different. I love it when that happens.
Here is also the first snuggle between my two kitties. Kiki doesn't look like he is liking life too much but Little Finn looks like he is very happy!

Card 2 For Card Box!

Here is the 2nd card I made casing the Occasions catalog used the Scattered Sequins Embossing folder from the Picture Perfect Birthday Suite. I have added some of the new adhesive backed sequins  to help make the card pop a little and the new Berry Burst Gold Edged ribbon. I LOVE this ribbon!

Card #1!

If you don't have any creative juices flowing the catalog has great ideas. I started this card by casing one out of the new Occasions catalog and then went from there.  I used the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit on all four of my cards. It makes things quick and easy for when you are in a hurry.
I die cut the Congrats out of Berry Burst cardstock with the Sunshine Wishes set. I also stamped the Celebrate in Berry Burst with a stamp from the Cake Soiree stamp set. I embossed a sheet of Old Olive and layered it on an Old Olive card base. The flowers are from the embellishment kit.
I love how the ribbon goes with this suite even tho its from the Annual Catalog!
Its only a little over a week before all of these great products are going to be available to YOU!

Card Box!

I love the box on page 11 of the new Occasions catalog. But I couldn't figure out how to make it. I finally figured it out. I also made it big enough so that I could put 4 cards in it.
So keep checking back in the next few days for the 4 cards I made to put in it. I used the Sweet Soiree Suite for this whole project. I used the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit so I didnt have to do much stamping. The embellishment kit does a lot of the work for you!
I have also used the yummy Sweet Soiree Designer Series Papers, they are yummy!
My card box and the cards inside are all designed for birthdays!
Only about a week and a half until you can order all of these great products also!

Petal Palette Day 2 and Little Finn!

Here is another card I made with Petal Palette. I made 6 of them and I may be making up a card pack for a friend that I just found out loves birds.

Also here is an adorable picture of Little Finn taking a nap. He looks so sweet and angelic but looks can be deceiving. He is a little pistol but we love him!

Petal Palette Day 1!

Today I am playing with the Petal Palette Bundle. I just love this set and the matching dies are awesome. They will be available in the Occasions catalog going live on January 3rd!

Meet Finn!

Meet our new addition to the family!! This is Finn. He is adorable and 5 months old. He went up to Kiki and gave him a cute little head butt. But Kiki hissed at him so now Finn hisses at him. But I think in a few days they will be great friends.
Finn is very loving and always has his little paws going making biscuits.
He is adorable!

Its finally December! I can't believe its here!
I am not having any Stampin Up Classes in December but I am having a December Stampin Up special. This is something I am promoting not Stampin Up.

Reindeer Door Hanger!

I found this cute little door hanger on You tube . It is a project done by Stamping With Amore. She has some great little projects. There is another she just posted today that is adorable also. I didnt have the same paper she had some I changed mine up. It needs 12 x 12 paper and I only had the Old Olive. The dsp is from Christmas Around the World and I had been wanting to use the Nutcracker paper so I went with that. I made 4 of these this morning in about 1 1/2-2 hours so they are really quick and easy to make.
The cute little reindeer is from the Seasonal Chums stamp set. It is made with fronts and backs to make gift tags with but I just used the front. Then I colored it with the new Stampin Blends .
It was really fun to color. Since I have a couple of people coming over this morning I made these for them. I already had the little snowman for them so I added it and some candy to fill it up.

Pink Christmas and Online Extravaganza!

I'm still working on my pink christmas. Here is a pink christmas card I made. I used the Merry Patterns stamp set that was available in October. I wanted to make another card with it. So this is what I came up with.
I also went on a hunt for items for my pink christmas decorations yesterday and found a few more items.

Christmas Class Today!

Today we are doing these three projects in class.
I was hoping to go with a Vintagey look for the mittens. I was tempted to make all of the cards pink but I know that not everyone likes pink as much as I do!
Speaking of pink!! Joan and I went to the Secret Gardens Tea House in Sumner, Wa this last weekend and it was AMAZING! Tons of pink and sparkle! It was all decorated for christmas and they are having a pink christmas this year just like I am. I bought a sampler of the pink tea set. It is definitely on my christmas and birthday list this year!!
Kati bought a pink flamingo ornament for me and said I should do my tree in pink this year. So I ordered a bunch of them and got more pink ornaments at the tea house.
Cant wait to get my tree up!!

Purple Poinsettia Box at Main St!

This is an explosion box I did for Main St Stamp and Stationary in Tigard. I will be doing a class on this today.
It is going to be my biggest class there ever! Or anywhere else actually.
I just love these Poinsettia Papers by Kaisercraft!
This one has pockets also like my last one did. They are on the sides with the bows. You could put money in them or a gift certificate or even a note. In the inside box could hold chocolates, jewelry. Any type of small gift.
Boy were these flowers a pain to cut out!! I went thru two plates with my precision plate and still had some problems.
I made 20 kits, 160 flowers, 160 silver leaves, lots of die cutting and cutting!!

Stampin Blends!

Stampin Up is bringing Alcohol Markers back. They are a new version called Stampin Blends.

There are 12 colors available. But each color has a light and dark. So really 24 colors plus an Ivory and Bronze for skin tones and a colorless blender called a color lifter. They markers are $4.50 each. They also come in a combo pack for each color that is $9.00.

Fall Holidays Card Class At Main St!

These are two fun cards I will be doing at Main St Stamp and Stationary this coming tuesday the 24th. They are both done with Art Impressions stamps and dies. The Gobble till You Wobble greeting is from a sizzix set. As soon as I found it in my drawer I thought, this turkey has to Wobble. So the turkey wobbles back and forth as it moves.

Colorful Seasons!

This is one of the cards we will be doing this Tuesday the 17th in our class. It is done with Colorful Seasons stamp set. It is very fallish!! (Is that a word?) Anyway, I cased this card from Pinterest I think. Sorry I can't remember where, its been awhile since I did  it.
The colors are Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Rich Razzleberry.
I splattered the background a bit with a marker and gold Wink of Stella.

Halloween Cats At Main St!

Here is my class for Main St Stamp and Stationary tomorrow. 1pm and 5:30pm. We will be making these two cards using the Meow-lloween Stamp set from Art Impressions.
I have colored the images with copic markers.

Fun Name Tags!

These are the name tags I made for everyone at the Holiday Premier Party last Saturday. I think that everyone liked them.
For the prize drawings, I had everyone open their goodie bags and unwrap these. Then they had to add up their totals on the letters and the one with the most numbers got to pick a prize first. You would think the one with the longest name would have the highest score. But it didnt work that way. One of the highest scores only had a 4 letter name!
These were really easy and fun to make. I already had a whole bunch of scrabble pieces.

Case(E) This Sketch #241!

I made this card using the sketch from Cas(E) This Sketch Challenge . I just love the pumpkins with the Gourd Goodness stamp set. It is a two step photopolymer stamp set. It looks so realistic. I used Tangerine Tango and Peekaboo Peach. It is a really easy set to match up. The greetings is from this set, and is stamped in Early Espresso.
I have used the Painted Autumn Designer Series papers, gold, copper and champagne foil papers, with Early Espresso, Old Olive and Whisper White cardstock.
The die cut leaves are from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and the Pumpkin is from the Patterned Pumpkin thinlits.
I have also added a heart from the Corrugated Elements and added a little Glitter Enamel Dot in the center.

Merry Patterns!

I made this card with a new stamp set called Merry Patterns! It is available for a limited time only and only with a $300 purchase.
I used the sketch from sketch #482 from the Sketch Saturday challenge. This is a fun set to play with but as you can see you have to be really careful not to rock your block at all. I love how easy the two step stamping is. First you stamp your outline and then fill it in.
I've used Be Merry DSP, Garden Green and Whisper White cardstock, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green ink pads, Garden Trellis Embossing Folder and Cherry cobbler double stitched ribbon.

Seasonal Chums!

Isn't this little deer just the cutest?? It is from the Seasonal Chums stamp set. The tree and snowflake come with this stamp set also.
It is originally made to make tags and the stamps have fronts and backs and fold over when you cut them out. But I only wanted the front of this little deer. So I cut my stamp apart so I didnt have to fight with the rest of the stamp. Then later when I want both the front and back I can still place them together and use them that way also. I do this quite a bit with my stamps.
I have seen quite a few versions of this card but this is my version of it.
It is also using Merry Little Christmas designer papers, stitched shape framelits, and the circle shape framelits.
I just love the Stitched Shaped Framelits. They are always my first choice when I go for a shaped die. But my sweet daughter has been helping me with my die cutting a lot this month and she isn't too found of them!
I colored the little reindeer with watercolor pencils and wink of stella. My new favorite way to color.
The black border is punched with the Ticket Tear Punch and I have wrapped the Black Shimmer Ribbon around the card!
For anyone coming to my Holiday Premier Party on the 30th or October 3rd, they will be seeing another one of the Seasonal Chums!!

Year Of Cheer DSP!

I found this card over at Patty Bennetts blog Patty stamps . Patty is a very inspirational person. I was lucky enough to meet her at Onstage last April. I went WAY out of my comfort zone and walked up to her and introduced myself. She was very nice. I just love her projects!
This card is made using the Year of Cheer Designer Papers. I have lots of these papers left over from my explosion boxes. So I was really excited to see Pattys projects!
The stamps on this card are from Watercolor Christmas which we received for free at the Rockaway Retreat I went on last weekend. (I can't believe I have back for a whole week already!!).
The Watercolor Christmas also has a matching kit available which makes 20 cards.
The inks are Island Indigo and Pool Party with Island Indigo and Whisper White cardstock. It is also using this lovely foil snowflakes, (which I also had lots leftover from the explosion boxes.).
This will be one of the cards we will be doing at the Holiday Premier Party on the 30th.

Box In A Card!

I found a tutorial for this card at Stamp Your Art Out .   I have been seeing these all over lately. It is called a box in a card. I have so many papers left over from the Year of Cheer DSP that I thought I would use it. I have decorated the inside yet but I think the outside is done.
I used the snowflake from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits,  I have embossed one of the stamps from the Merry Little Labels stamp set in gold. Then layered it with Gold glimmer paper.
It is a fun little card to make but it won't fit in an envelope.
I also have a gold strip punched out with the Decorative Ribbon Border punch.

Painted Harvest Poinsettia!

I love the Painted Harvest Stamp set. It is fun in so many colors. On this card, I stamped it in Real Red and Cherry Cobbler to give it the look of Poinsettias. I couldn't decide what to use as background paper because nothing seemed to go with it.
So I decided to just use it as background paper all by itself. I think it turned out very colorful and cheerful.
I used Garden Green and Whisper White cardstock and then Cherry Cobbler Stitched Ribbon.
For the leaves I used Wild Wasabi and Garden Green, also Crushed Curry for the centers of the flowers. I added some Gold Enamel shapes for a little dimension!

Seasons Greetings!

This is my version of the card on page 35 LR corner in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog.
I changed it up a bit. I used Smokey Slate, Elegant Eggplant and Silver Foil papers. I also used Silver Edged Ribbon. I love these new ribbons. They come in Gold Edged also and are so elegant.
I have used Snowflake Sentiments Bundle. If you buy the dies and the stamp set you get 10% off.

Pink Flamingos!

I found these adorable slippers in Flamingo Jims at Rockaway Beach when I went there last weekend for a Stampin Up retreat!
We had a great time at the retreat! I had never been to this one before. It s at the Twin Rocks Friends Camp in Rockaway. It is a very nice retreat center.
For my flamingo card, my good friend Joan asked me to make a flamingo christmas card. So this is what I came up with.
The Santa hat from the Santa Suit stamp set and Santa builder die set (or get the bundle for 10% off). It fits perfectly on this card. I used the Fabulous Flamingo set and the Quilted Christmas Designer Papers. I added some snowflakes and rhinestones. I really like how it all came together.
I have another idea for a Flamingo christmas card so stay tuned for that!

Fall Coffee!

I love Gingham and I also love this Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. It is in the new holiday catalog. I really wanted to use this Smoky Slate Gingham ribbon but I couldn't find anything to go with it. Then I had these papers and was looking at them and thought "Wait a Minute!" those pumpkins are Smokey Slate. You know how there are colors in the papers but they aren't listed in the pack?? So I saw my chance to us the ribbon!
So I used the Stitched Shape framelits and the Oval Shapes, also the new Merry Cafe stamp set. The new Merry Cafe stamp set works with the Coffee Cups Framelits. So this all went together perfectly.
I also wrapped the Copper Trim ribbon around my smokey slate ribbon for some more color!

Snow Fun At Main St!

These cute little snow people are going to a class at Main St Stamp and Stationary tomorrow!
This is a fun stamp from Art Impressions called Sparkle & Cheer and they are very cheery!
I just love the sentiment "You make my heart slush!"
I have used some cute Pebbles christmas papers to go with these cute little guys and colored them with my watercolor pencils and wink of stella!
So hope on over to Main St tomorrow and make these fun little guys! (and girls!).
