As soon as I saw this set in the new Mini catalog I was in love with it! It is so adorable. It has the cute cute and arbor. Also the little kitty.
For the background I inked the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder with Soft Suede ink ran it thru with a soft suede cardstock. I love the look of it. The arbor is cut right out of the paper so you can see thru to the inside. You have to cut the fence to make it into the gate but that is really easy to do.

Mini Catalog Premier Party!

Tomorrow is my 4th Annual Catalog Premier Party! I do these three times a year when a new catalog comes out. Then Mini (previously called the Occasions) with Sale A Bration, the Annual catalog in June and the Holiday catalog in September. This year I am adding a 4th one in March. Usually I have always made a bag of some kind to put the project kits in. This time I decided to make a box. I totally designed the box myself this time which is something I don't do a lot of. There are so many great ideas out there and I am not an architect so to design a 3-D project myself is a bit of a challenge. Although I have been doing it more as I learn.
So I made this box and it is a 6 x 6 inch box. Inside it as you can see I have 6 envelopes for the project kits, a pack of the gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones that are in the new Mini catalog and one fun diamond pen.
I just love this new suite. It is called the Parisian Blossoms suite. In this suite there are two stamp sets, two die sets, this gorgeous paper and for embellishments gorgeous pink metallic edged ribbon, the champagne rhinestones and the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder which I have used on the box.
I have a whole stack of fun products set aside for prize drawings tomorrow and a lasagna in the fridge I made ready to pop in the oven tomorrow.
We will have a full day of fun. The weather has been threatening us with snow all week but I think tomorrow starts the normal Willamette Valley 50 degree and lots of rain weather!

Honey Bee Bundle!

Here is a shaker card I made. I saw two cards in the new Mini catalog that I like, so I combine them and came up with this card. I am using the new Honey Bee Bundle. What is really cool is the Snow Globe set carried over from the Holiday catalog ad it works perfect to us with the bee hive.
I have one Bee on the inside and then the two on the outside like they are coming out of the hive. The ribbon is new out of the Mini catalog also, Mint Macaroon Sheer Linen Ribbon.
I wanted the background of the card front to have a little texture so I embossed it with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Whenever I just need a little something to add texture this is my go to Embossing Folder.

Love You to Pieces!

Here are two of the same cards. I used a piece of dsp from the From My Heart. I used a different side of it on both of these cards and I think it gives it a whole different look.
These papers are so gorgeous and one side on most of the designs has some foil in it to give it an added glow.
I have been wanting to use the Love You to Pieces stamp set for about 2 years. I went to Wisconsin to visit family and two of my aunts and I put together a puzzle. So I bought this set to make cards for them and then have never done it. Maybe I will send them each a Valentines card instead.
I have used a few different pieces from Valentines stamp sets for this card. In addition to Love You to Pieces I have also used Meant To Be stamp set out of the annual catalog.
The two foil hearts have been punched out of the From My Heart papers with one of the new heart punches from the punch pack. You get two heart punches. One is scalloped and one is not and you can use them both to cut out hearts from the papers.
So much fun!

More Best Dresssed Suite!

Here is another set of 3 x3 cards. This time I made them to go in the little purse. I think this suite is just adorable. I've used the perfume, lipstick and shoes for this set of cards.  Also more of these gorgeous papers.  I just absolutely love these papers.
There are dies for the lipstick shoes and perfume bottle in this set, along with the cute little purse. There are also a couple of button, flowers, buckles and a handle for the purse.
I haven't made the purse die into a backpack yet but I will be doing that soon.

Hog Heaven by My Favorite Things!

I have a new friend and she loves little pigs. So I couldn't resist buying the Hog Heaven stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.
I made this card like the Ladybug card I posted recently. This is a tri-fold card. They are really easy and fun to make.
I stamped the pigs and colored them with watercolor pencils and wink of stella. They are so cute.

Little Ladybug!

I saw this adorable little card on Pinterest and just had to case it. The original owner of this card and video on how to make it can be found here. This talented lady lives in Belle Chase New Orleans just like on NCIS New Orleans. So her website is NOLA Creations.
This is a tri-fold card using the new Little Ladybug stamp set that is a host gift in the new Sale A Bration set coming out this Friday January 3rd. Best Dressed Suite!

I made some cute projects with The Best Dressed Suite about a month ago. Theres  just been so much going on I forgot to take pictures of them.
I have never really been a fan of 3 x 3 cards but in the new Mini Catalog there are some cute little cards and envelopes. I have done up three of the adorable little cards.

All three of these cute little cards can fit into this cute little purse/backback. There is a an adorable die for the purse/backpack. You can make it into either one. I have put some tissue in this one as a gift bag but these three little cards fit in it also.

I am hoping to post more pictures this weekend of the fun projects I have made with this suite this weekend. But tomorrow we are celebrating Christmas, which is also my birthday. We will celebrate my birthday on New Years Day. So I may be a little busy tomorrow. We are having 10 people for dinner which is really a lot for us.

Another Birthday Bonanza Card!

This card looks like a shaker card but its not. I made it at the beach and didn't have all the supplies to make it a shaker card. There is a tag just like this in the new Mini catalog. I cased the tag then made a card out of it. I used the party hat and balloons to make an ice cream cone.
The Lets Celebrate really said Lets Celebrate You but I cut off the you because on the inside it says Another sensational Year of You. This greeting comes from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set which you are going to be able to get for free with a $50 purchase as soon as Sale A Bration starts on January 3rd.

Merry Christmas!

Here is another card I made using the Birthday Bonanza Suite. I think this little Lion is so cute. Also without the main I think he will make an adorable little monkey but I haven't tried that yet because I didn't have the correct color of inks at the beach.
Wouldn't you just love to have this Suite?? It is in the Mini Catalog (previously known as the Occasions catalog) that goes live on January 3rd. That's next week!!

Mostly all of the supplies for this card are from this suite except I threw in the sequins and some rhinestones that are out of the annual catalog.
I forgot there is a combo pack in the Sale A Bration catalog that would also go great with this suite. There is a spool of sparkly Bermuda Bay and also Daffodil delight metallic ribbon with matching sequins that are striped. So I will be using those in the next few projects also.
I love crafting at the beach but its almost impossible to have everything you want to use.

Birthday Bonanza Suite!

We spent this weekend at the beach and had a great time. It was quite stormy when we got there. There was lots of flooding in Tillamook. We had to go thru an area that was really flooded on the way in on Friday. Then on Saturday we went into town and there were a few rocks on the road that had fallen off the wall on the side. When we came back about 1 1/2 hours later a whole part of the wall had fallen off into the road and blocked it but luckily we were able to get back to our house.
I have taken a few pictures of the sky last night. It was much more colorful than the photo shows. I have even shown a picture of the inside of the house where I was crafting. I have taken up the whole bar area.
I am showing the same card I showed yesterday, except I added another little Koala bear, some sequins and added it to a card base.

Bonanza Buddies Bundle!

We came to the beach for a little weekend getaway and I brought a few toys to play with.
I am using the Bonanza Buddies suite. There is a great stamp set, dies, papers, ribbon and Pom poms in this suite. Oh, also some fun cellophane bags.
I was bummed at first because I forgot the ink for the koala bear and he was the first guy I inked up. Then I realized the dies match the paper and I just cut him right out of the paper. The dies also work on the Toucan.
I have also used the Stitched So Sweetly dies on this card. All of the supplies used on this card are in the new Mini catalog going live January 3rd.
