Flourishes Seashells

Here are two cards I made with the same layout. I just turned one on its side so I could use the Hero Arts sentiment.
I used the watercoloring re inker technique for the seashells. The seashells are from Flourishes. I also used stampin up Baja Breeze, Shimmery White and also gold cardstock.
The colors of reinkers are stampin up Bashful blue and Bermuda Bay and also Close to my Heart Hydrangea.
Happy stamping!

Pink Dahlia!

Here is my pink Dahlia card. This is Dahlia from The Greeting Farm. I used ds papers from Sabrina papers from Making Memories. I used my flower punches and cuttlebug for the flowers and some brads I had from michaels. I also used the same paper on the card plus stampin up pink pirroutte and basic black. I used my nesties for the circles and colored it with copic markers.
I think she looks great in pink. After I am done with putting the pink ones together I will be working on the purple ones. I am doing 4 of each. So I will hopefully have them up tomorrow.

Yeah! Shes Home!

Well, Kati has been home for 3 days! Yeah! It is so great to have her home. We have just been running around having fun. She bought a dresser at goodwill and has been refinishing it. We
went to check out a college that she fell in love with.
And of course we have been to several of our favorite food places. Today we are going to run around some more. She found a place she wants to apply for a job at and maybe we will go to Craft Warehouse.
I am also working on some Dahlia cards from The Greeting Farm I am hoping to finish today.

Coloring With Copics

I was practising coloring techniques with my copic markers. For her hair I used E99,YR21, and E33. I had seen a tutorial with these colors and it was for blonde hair. But I think her hair looks a lot more like red than blonde. It is darker in person than it looks on this picture. I think I also need to practise picture taking also.

3 More Days!!!!!!!

Well, not much stamping going on around here. Tomorrow is my day off and I will be spending most of it cleaning house. Three more days until Kati comes home!!!!!!! I am so excited. She has been checking into colleges to see where she wants to go. She will probably have to wait until the winter semester since she is looking so late in the year.
Kati says you dont have to clean house for me mom but I want to do as much as I can. Make her bathroom all sparkly and other things.
Have a good week!

Stamp Club Invites

I love this new medallion stamp from stampin up. It makes a quick and easy card when you are in a hurry. I made these for stamp club invites and for any of you gals who come to stamp club they wont be going out for awhile. I just needed to get them done now.
I used stampin up medallion and hugs and wishes. Stampin up Real Razzleberry cs and ink. Also the flower is from papertrey ink that I got about a year ago. I found some rhinestone brads and used them to attach the flower to the card.

Making Flowers

I forgot to mention on the pony card that I ran my flowers thru the cuttlebug. The textile embossing folder for the big flower and the swiss dot embossing folder for the smaller flower. I used pink piroutte cs for the smaller flower which I forgot to mention also.
I am trying to make my own flowers more and more. Lauren Meader has a tutorial on making flowers with tissue paper. I was playing with that one day and had a few flowers laying around. I knew if I didnt use them right away they would get lost. I had a going away gift for a co worker so I used them as decoration across the top of just a craft gift bag and it really added alot to the bag. It was really inexpensive gift bag that I really liked.

Magnolia Pony

I have been meaning to use this stamp for awhile. I love this pony. It is so much fun to color.
I colored it with copic markers E77, E74, R85, R89, T3 and a color less blender. I also used a black glaze pen for the eye and nostril and a white signo gel pen for the dots. I used two flower punches to make my own flowers and a martha stewart punch for the leaves. The ds paper is from basic grey bittersweet collection and then melon mambo and chocolate chip stampin up cardstock and a white card base. I put a button in the middle of the flowers. Also some rhinestones down in the corner. The ribbon is some from Michaels.
