Hocus Pocus!

I made this fun card using the sketch from sketch Saturday, but I accidently used last weeks sketch. Oh well, I liked it better anyway.
I used all Peddlers pack stamps for this card. Added some fun ribbon and papers from Moxie, this is the Candy,Candy, Candy line. I colored the image with copic markers and the sentiment with glitter gel pens.
I love the cute little kittie she is holding and the tiny little mouse peaking around the corner of the pedestal.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #116

I really wanted to use some papers from Three Bugs In a Rug called Bake Me A Cake. These are two of the papers from that set. I also used Daffodil Delight and just white cardstock. I added some flowers, a little cupcake at the bottom and some rhinestones in the upper corner. I colored the image with copic markers and then added glittler on the sentiment and Glossy Accents on the balloons. The image is cut out with a spellbinders nestiblitie and then layer with a scalloped rectangle.
This adorabe image is from Peddlers Pack. You can find them on my side bar. They have some great stamps!
My card was made using a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
I really like how colorful and cheery this card came out. I have about 10 birthdays next month so I will be making lots of birthday cards. We will see who gets this pretty card!

Card Box!

This is the card box to match the cards I showed the other day with the Fabulous Florets set. I added the pink gingham paper with the flowers and love how it looks with it too. It works with both of the flowered papers I have used this week. It will go with the cards as part of the birthday gift. I made 8 card for the box but with the roses on the cards I could only fit 6 in. So I can either give the extras with the gift or have them in my stash.
We are off on a motorcycle ride today. We will see how that goes.

Thinking of You!

Tilda is just sitting around thinking of you!
I used this pink gingham paper again I just love. It is from Boxer Scrapbook Productions and is just called Dark Pink Gingham. The flowered paper goes so good with it and it is from Echo Park from the Country Drive collection. I used three marvy flower punches, one paper shaper and a stampin up butterfly punch, also some nestibilities. The sentiment is a magnolia stamp. I added some rhinestones and ribbon. Tilda is colored with copic markers and cut out. She is sitting on the ribbon.
I have made this for the following challenges:
Manolia Down Under-butterflies
Flutterby Wednesdays-open (must by butterfly, angel, or fairy)
Crop Stop-anything goes
Papertake Weekly-Dies and Punches

This is another one of my Peddler Packs sample cards. This cute little pumpkin is from them.
I used papers from Little Yellow Bicycle Trick or Treat line. These papers are really cool. They are a little thicker than normal and shiny. I used the stampin up scallop border punch and a Martha stewart punch. Also a couple of nestiblities for the circles. Added some dew drops and ribbon. The pumpkin is colored with copic markers. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday.

Fabulous Florets!

I made a set of these cards for a gift for a friend. I found these papers at a store in Brookings on our trip down the coast. I had heard about the store a few times. Of course I had to check it out.
So these beautiful papers are from My Minds Eye Lost & Found Two. This paper is called Sweet "Blush" Bouquet paper.
I paired it with Stampin Ups Mellow Moss and Rose Red. The stamp set is Stampin Up Fabulous Florets. I used the rock and roll technique (I think its called) with Pretty In Pink and Rose Red.
I added a rose and some glitter, dew drops and used a martha stewart punch for the leaves and spellbinders die. Also rose red ribbon from stampin up.
I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop.

Paul and THe Blue Ox!

I love to go to the Redwoods and see these guys. I was reading an article about them. They were built between 1961 and 1962. Paul ways 30,000 lbs. Hes a big guy. We like to sit and listen to all the things he says to people as they come in. He has a great comeback for everything. The Blue Ox is the shy guiet type. He never says a word.
As you can see it was foggy. According to the lady in the gift shop its like that most of the time. Bud  was asking about growing a redwood tree and she said thats the weather they do best in and if you dont live in it, you have to mist the trees all the time.

Trip South!

We just got back from a mini vacation. We drove down the Oregon Coast clear to the Redwood Forest in California. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Until you got out of the car. Then the icy wind hit and you froze. So we didnt spend much time on the beach.
I went to a few stamp stores. My favorite in Coos Bay is getting ready to close. Very depressing. It is the best around. She has the most stuff I have ever seen. But I guess too much inventory is not always a good thing.
Then I went to a few other stores too. Got some pretty papers and a few stamps.
We also found a great Windmill to restore and put in our yard. It will be perfect with the lighthouse.
It was in a gift shop of all places. It was a real bear to get it out of a full gift shop and then make it fit in the car to get it home.
We stayed at the Bandon Inn in Bandon. It overlooked Old Towne Bandon. We had a great view from our hotel.

Lighthouse!

My hubby has been doing some work on our yard this summer. The city put trees in shortly after we moved in and the roots were killing our grass. So he dug it all up and put in this pond with waterfalls and built this lighthouse himself. The waterfall closest to the chair isnt quite finished and he needs to separate a plant a little. Also the lighthouse needs some boulders around the bottom and I think a window in the center. But otherwise I think he did an AWESOME job.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Friends Share Everything!

Heres a card I made this weekend. Its a Mo Manning digital image. I like to think shes emailing her friends. I colored the image with copic markers. The sentiment is from my new Art Impressions Under My Umbrella from the Girlfriends collection. I just love those stamps. I punched out the flowers and added a button in the center. The sentiment is stamped and then punched out with Stampin Up punches. I used nestibilites on the image and a martha stewart punch down the side. The ribbon is pretty in pink stampin up ribbon and the cardstock is cream and pixie pink. The designer paper is from Echo Park.
Here are the challenges I am entering this card in:

Friends Are Your Umbrella!

This is another Art Impressions stamp I picked up this last weekend. It has three different sentiments with it. It was an unmounted set. I paid just a little more for the whole set than the one mounted stamp I purchased. I used the Three bugs in a rug papers from the april showers collections. I thought the umbrella paper went perfect but unfortunately they dont show alot.
I colored these little ladies with copic markers and then cut them out. I used one of my Heartfelt creations die that I had to have and just used for the first time. They are made special for them by Spellbinders. I added some ribbon, flowers and dew drops.
I made them for the following challenges:
Also for the Colour Create Challenge pink green white.

Lie About Your Age!

I purchased some stamps from Art Impressions this weekend. My hubby and I went on a motorcycle ride to Salem. He wanted to go to Craft Warehouse and look for a top for the lighthouse he is building. We found the perfect one. When it is all finished I will show pictures. It is going to be over 7' tall. I think it will look really cool.
Anyway, I found a few of these images with great sayings. I will have another one up tomorrow. This one says "If I've learned anything in my 29 yrs its lie about your age!". I just love how grumpy she looks. She would be great with a saying about not messing with her until shes had her coffee or something. I colored her in the teals 1st to match the papers, then I did her a second time in the pink. I love the pink so much better, but I realize not everyone is a pink freak like me so I showed it in both colors.
I made this card using the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
I used papers from the Bake A Cake collection from Three Bugs in a Rug. Also I pulled out some OLD Close to My heart cardstock to match and a couple of ribbons. I just got the flowers this weekend two also at Craft Warehouse and they matched these papers perfectly. I had to add some dew drops of course and I ran the lighter cardstock thru the cuttlebug with the texture textile embossing folder.

Happy Birthday!

I made this card for my daughters birthday. She will be 24 on wednesday. I cant believe she is that old already. Where does the time go?
I finally used this cute little critter. I have had her for a couple of years. She is a Motivet stamp. I think she is adorable. I actually havent added glitter yet but I want to do that do to make her more sparkly.
The papers on this card are Stampin up Lucky Limeade and some papers from a Prima 6x6 pad called the Melody Collection.
I used the sketch from Everybody Art Challenge.
Also over at Stamp & Create this months challenge is Critters.
I hope Kati likes this card. I am not sure but we will see.

I found these new Anna Griffin papers yesterday at a store in Tigard. Of course I am always drawn to the bright colors. I think these are so bright and cheery. I have always loved this color combo. I used Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeade with these papers. The stamps are from JustRite Stampers. I picked them up yesterday also.

Wedding Card!

I have a coworker getting married in a few weeks. She brought in two bridesmaids dresses to show us at work and had a notebook for her wedding. She had fabric swatches of the colors. I couldnt help thinking, Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush and Cherry Cobbler. So I had to make her this wedding card. I hardly know her because she only works on my day off but she happened to work on a day I was there. She is a really sweet gal and seeing her colors inspired me.
The sentiment is a stampin up retired set and I used the Hello Doily stamp I just love.
I added some flowers I had in the same colors and the new ruffly ribbon and seam binding ribbon from stampin up also. I ran the wisteria wonder piece thru the cuttlebug with the textile texture embossing folder after stamping hello doily on it. Added some pearls and a rhinestone and was done.
I hope she will like it!
