2nd Monogrammed Kit

Yeah! Tommorrow is my friday. I am excited. These last few weeks have been flying by. This weekend we are going to the beach. I have so much stamping to get ready for. Stamp Club next week. A sample board for a class next month. But our 23rd anniversary is coming up in March and this is the only weekend we are available until the end of March which is the last weekend of spring break so we dont want to go then.
I made this card for another coworker of my husbands. It was a set of 6 packaged for her. He is going to take them to the company tomorrow.
I hope they like them.

Invite for Stamp Club!

Happy Tuesday!
I made this card for my invites to stamp club next week. It is going to be an all cupcake theme. I may even make real cupcakes. It seems like every other magazine we have gotten in the office this year has cupcakes on the front. They look so yummy. My favorite one is the March 3rd issue of Women's Day that came out the beginning of February. Someone else must have liked it because it disappeared the day after we got it. So I had to go hunt down my own copy at the grocery store. It also has a yummy salad recipe in it complete with a dressing recipe.
I made todays card using the Verve set Cupcake affair. I also used Baja Breeze CS from SU and pink piroutte. Then I used nestibilites, dark chocolate ribbon from papertrey ink and some flowers. The other shape is a new die from stampin up.
Have a great day and happy stamping!

TECC56 Taylors Cupcake Challenge

This is my card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this week. You can visit her at www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com.
She has great challenges. I left my message on her blog last night and realized I should have done this yesterday, but oh well.
I used Stampin Bella's Latte Bella. For the papers I used papertrey inks Raspberry Fizz and Dark Chocolate Cardstock. (Dont those sound good enough to eat!). I used American Craft designer papers. Stampin up punches and nestibilities. Then I used Raspberry Fizz ribbon from PTI and bellas baubles. The flowers I think I got at Craft Warehouse.
I had trouble at first getting this card to come together because the brown and cream stripes were so bold. So I strayed from the original challenge to tone it down some.
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

Along Time!

Hi Girls!
I know its been awhile. I have been busy exercising and all that boring stuff. Trying to be a serious dieter.
Here is a card I made for a great friend and penpal. She loves the sea colors and sea themed items. She does lots for a lot of people so I wanted to do something for her. I made a gift pack of 6 cards. The ribbon reminded me of Ariel from a little mermaid. I mailed it out to her and she loved it.
The stamp is great impressions. I used the swirly cuttlebug embossing folder, I also used justrite stamps for the words and a retired SUwheel along the bottom. The shell is colored with SU watercolor crayons and I ran over it with my watercolor brush.
Thanks for all you do LYNN!
Happy Stamping!

PS Tomorrow I will have my card for Taylors cupcake challenge.

Gift Sets

Hello! Happy Friday!
(Except, I do have to work tomorrow!)
I made two of these gift sets today. One I made for the wife of a kindof co-worker of my hubbys. He is one of the contractors that works with the company my hubby works for. He gave us matching sweatshirt jackets and of course wouldnt let us pay for them. So I made this for his wife. I also made a set for a coworker of mine whose birthday is coming up.
I used Justrite Stamps and the new Basic Grey Bittersweet designer paper. I used Vanilla Fudge and Brittle. Dont these names make you hungry? I also used SU cardstock. Blush Blossom, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip. Then for the ink and ribbon, those are from Papertrey Ink.
I love how well all these colors went together. My hubby liked it so much he asked me to make another one for a gal at work. He wants me to make hers a little different. I dug up some of my papertrey ink clear boxes also.
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

Hello Everyone!

I made this card for
the Spring Flowers
Inchie Challenge at
Ellen Hutsons Inchies
website. I used this
Hydrangea stamp from Karen Lockhart.
That is the main rule
to use a Karen Lockhart stamp and have part of the stamp be on an inchie. I used
the With Gratitude Embossing folder with the cuttlebug and the lacy
embossing folder on the side was part of a four pack of embossing strips. I also used some purple rhinestones and glitter part of the flowers.

Light The Night

Hello! Its monday again! But its over! Yeah!
Dont you just love this little gal? She is ready to go out on the town. I love her dress and scarf. She is called Light The Night and is by Penny Black. I used Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. Praline and Meltaway. Yum.! Dont they sound good? I also used SU Purely Pomegranate and Pink Piroutte. I only have 2 sheets of Purely Pomegranate left and then it is gone for good.
I also used some pink ribbon I have been wanting to use for a long time but it is really think. Not really good for bows or knots. Then I used some flowers and dew drops and some little pearly things.

Hoppy Day

I made this card for taylors sketch challenge TECC54. I hope I did it correctly. When I entered it on Mister Linky on her blog it said to leave a comment but then the comment box didnt come up. I am not very good at this computer stuff but I will keep on trying.
This is another Fiskers set by Tricia Santry Studio Collection. It is called Hoppy Day. I love it and it goes perfectly with the basic grey paper also. This is the Eva collection called Courtier (I think).
I used two retired colors from SU. Wild Wasabi and Positively Pink. What will we ever do when we run out of our retired stash of colors from SU?
Speaking of colors. Papertrey Ink sure has some cool colors with their papers and ribbons and now buttons.
Well, the weekend is over. Tomorrow is monday again. The weekend sure goes by quickly doesnt it?

Stack of Turtles

I love these turtles. I found them at a great local stamp store. They are by fiskers and it is the Tricia Santry studio collection. I just got another set on friday that is frogs. I cant wait to use those also. Maybe today. I might try Taylors sketch challenge today. I went to a craft morning with my sister and her friends a few weeks ago and as I stamped the turtle his spots automatically made me think of this basic grey paper I had in my stash. I knew they would go perfect together.
I also made a cool set of cards yesterday but I cant put them on here yet cuz they are a set for a special friend and I dont want her to see them before I give them to her. So that will be awhile but they turned out really pretty and colorful. All I can say which will probably give it away is that they have a really pretty seashell on them and are very colorful.

2nd Set Wedding Cards

Here are the other wedding card samples I made. they are almost identical but not quite. I did the one on the right first and realized the ribbon didnt quite match so I changed it to silver. After I was done and did the previous two cards I realized I had ribbon that would have matched perfect. Isnt that the way it always works?
Have fun stamping!

The designer paper is Nanas baby boy 12 x 12 pack from DCWV. I colored it using SU markers and used SU blue bayou and soft sky ribbon and also some buttons I had.
