Art Impression Monday!

These are the Girlfriends from the Comfy on the Couch set from Art Impressions. They seem to be having so much fun together. I wanted everything to look Jammyish, so I used my new papers from Meadow Lark Collection from Prima papers. I saw this paper somewhere last week and fell in love with it and had to order some. You cant see it as well as I would like but it is very pretty.
This stamp is very large and I even cut off just a little of the gals feet on the right side. So my card is 5 X 7. I had some of this size of card stock already made into a card base I purchased on accident awhile back so just decided to use it.
I made my card today with the sketch from sweet sketch wednesday. So you can hop on over there to check out what they have.

The Zebras

Here are the zebra card boxes I made. The black zebra and pink zebra. My new ribbons go great with these papers. These papers are made from recollections at Michaels. They are cardboard thickness of papers. The glitter is very nice on them. They have great texture also.

Leopard Card Box!

This is a card box I made. Kati placed a nice order with me. I have been working on 10 projects for her. I thought I was all done last night and she ordered the 10th one I have to make after work today.
I used this yummy paper again that I had used for a purse in the past. It is from Recollections from Michaels. The black parts on it are velvet. The ribbon is some that I ordered and just arrived yesterday. It is black with the iridescent shimmer to it. I layered the ds paper with black and natural ivory.

Rain or Shine!

Today at Art Impressions Blog the challenge is rain or shine. So I went with the Under My Umbrella set from Art Impressions. I love the sentiment on both the inside and outside. These papers are from SEI Vanilla Sunshine collection. Even the name of the papers goes with the challenge for this week.
I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp for this week.
Its funny, a lot of the challenge blogs are celebrating their third anniversary, so I wonder which one started it first and then everyone decided to go with them also. I love the sketchs myself. I think all the challenges are fun. It helps inspire me and give me a direction to get started in. Once I am started I am good but getting there is sometimes the hard part.

Doggie Purse!

Kati ordered some purses and card boxes for co workers. One of the purses she said she wanted it to be a puppy theme. This is what I came up with. As you can see the red print has paw prints on it and the card has the same paper plus some with dogbones and fire hydrants.
I hope the person getting this really likes it.

Same Card Different Colors!

I made this card a few weeks ago. But I wanted to make it into a sample card for Peddlers Pack so I had to change the papers. The designer paper I used is from Memory Box. I added Calypso Coral with this and changed the colors of the birdhouses. Also since I didnt have any little flowers and wanted to use something you could get at Peddlers Pack I made my own with a little marvy punch and then added the rhinestones. My stamp isWatercolor Birdhouses from Art Impressions. I stamped it and then colored it with copic markers and added some glitter.
I almost like this one better than the original. Almost!

Beautiful Spring Flowers!

It was soooo gorgeous today. I spent most of the day indoors working on projects that Kati ordered from me so even tho I did make some things I didnt get any pictures taken of them. BUT I did go outside a little bit and noticed this right outside the front door. How have I missed how beautiful it is?? The sun was shining on it and the flowers with the fern looked so woodsy and so beautiful, I just had to take its picture to share with everyone.
I hope you all enjoyed your saturday and will also enjoy your sunday!

PatchWork Butterfly!

The other week, Lily of The Valley had free shipping for like 24 hours so I ordered from them. Actually even tho they are in the UK shipping is only like $3 I think but you know its an incentive and it worked for me.
So anyway, this is one of the stamps I got. It is called PatchWork Butterfly. Isnt it so cute??? I stamped it and then colored it with coopic markers. Its hard to see in this picture but I added some sparkly fluff to his tail and some glitter to the butterfly and its little paws. I used spellbinders for the image and the sides of the yellow paper is from a stampin up border punch I just got. The designer paper is also some retired stampin up paper.
I made this card using the sketch at sweet sketch wednesday.
I hope you are all have a great weekend!

Bee Yourself!

This cute little bee and greeting are from Peddlers Pack. I have a link for them on my sidebar.
I think he is soo cute. He has his big ole glasses on but is saying to be himself and not worry about them. I stamped him and colored him with copic markers. Then I used glossy accents on the glasses and some glitter on the wings. The papers are all different. They are not even from the same companies but I liked how they went together so decided to use them. I made this little guy using the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp. So you can go over and check out the other cards on their site. I turned the sketch to the side.

Water Color Series!

This is my project for Art Impressions this week. For this card I used Watercolor Series 5. It comes with the birdhouse, the little bird on top and also a flower basket and stand for the basket. You can check out Art Impressions blog and see some other great projects.
I saw this style of card done and thought I would give it a try. The bow holds the card closed so it has to stay on really secure. I always glue my bows on with Glossy Accents. For some reason I just dont have any luck with glue dots or anything else. They always seem to fall off.
The papers I used are the Tea Party set I think from Nitwits Collection! You can find a link to them on my sidebar. They are digi papers I printed out. I love the colors and patterns in them. The sentiment if from one of the stampin up sets Well Scripted.

Time To Shop!

This little gal just makes me want to go out and shop. Isnt she just adorable?? Lily Of The Valley. I made it using the sketch fromThe Sweet Stop Sketch blog. This week you get to use any of their sketches you prefer. After I got my card all done I read on the sketch I picked that it said "sketch with a spin: Fuzzy Wuzzy" and my card is definately a fuzzy wuzzy.
I colored my little shopper with copic markers and a little bit of glitter pen. The greeting is from My Favorite Things. I had to cut it into three pieces so I could fit it in the circle. But thats the great thing about clear stamps. The are so easy to do that do and then put it back if you want. My papers are from Nitwits. I love their digi papers. I made two cards yesterday using papers from this collection. I used some glittery ribbon on the card but you cant see it as well as I would like. Also I made the whole card base from a Spellbinders die Grand Labels 23. I wanted the whole card this shape. It is my new favorite. I am not sure how others have been doing it but I cut two of the large white ones out and then just attached them to a smaller than regular sized card base. Then I layered it with the regular size label 23 die. Is quite a bit like the magnolia card I did a week or so ago but a little different.
I love the little sunglasses on top of her head.
Shes a cutie!

Last Purse!

This is the third purse I made last weekend. It is for a coworkers Grandma. I could just picture someone carrying this purse and wearing their white gloves. Yellow roses are my favorite and yellow is I think my third favorite color so I love this paper. I think it looks very antiquey.

Thinking of You!

Over at Art Impressions blog, they are having an extra contest this week in honor of Operation Write Home. They are joining up with them and encouraging everyone to make a card or cards to send to the troops. The theme is Thinking of you. So if you have any extra cards or want to make some for them you can either send them to OWH or AI.
I have made my thinking of you card for today with the Watercolor Series stamps found at AI. I had completely forgotten about the guidlines for OWH but then after reading them I realized I did qualify for them, especially since I forgot my glitter. You know my motto, Everything is better with glitter, Just like Chocolate!
Here is my card for this contest:

I think it turned out very bright and cheery for a thinking of you card. I had all these little watercolor stamps for years. It was fun to pull them out and use them again. I didnt even pull out the watercolor paper for them. I just stamped them on cream cardstock, (not sure why I used cream!) and then I stamped the watering can and colored it with copic markers. Then used my SU markers right on the stamps to stamp the flowers. The ds paper is from Doodlebug. I just love this paper. You can see just a hint of the yellow behind the yellow ribbon which is the backside of this paper.
So head on over to Owh or AI and find out all the deets about donating your cards for the soldiers!

New Purse!

Here is a purse set I made for a co worker. I went to Michaels to get some more leopard print paper because thats what she had ordered. Then I found this and had to get it. I loove it! I layered it with black and melon mamba. The pink zebra print is glitter. It is made by Recollections exclusively for Michaels. I even used a recollections border punch. The recollections line has a lot of different things.

Art Impressions Monday!

Here is my card forArt Impressions for this week. My last Easter card. I went with the sketch fromClean & Simple friday sketch challenge. You can tell by the name what it is all about. So I used my martha stewart punch and some paper scraps. My cute little bunny can be found here. He is called Bunny Basket. I also used the greetings  here. It was really hard for me to go so simple on this card but once it was done I really liked how it turned out.

Papertake Weekly!

I made this little Butterfly house card with a cute Peddlers Pack stamp. The sketch I used is from
Papertake Weekly challenge for this week. I love these designer papers. They are from Sei. All of the ingredients for this card I picked up at Peddlers Pack. The punches are Marvy punches. I used two different sizes for the flowers. Shaped the petals a little and added some rhinestones. I paired the ds papers with retired SU Cameo Coral. (That wouldnt be available at PP but I am sure that would be some great Bazzill paper to match there.).
I colored the image with copic markers and added some glitter.
