Put Your Party Pants On!

This is a cute little card made with one of the new Sale A Bration sets that just became available February 16th. It is called Party Pants! You can get this set for free with a $50 order. If you would like to earn this free set just send me an email or comment or order on my online store on the sidebar!

This set comes in wood mount or clear mount. The balloon stamp in this set matches the balloon punch in the Occasions catty. The balloon is stamped in Blushing Bride on a white piece of card stock. The pants are made with the Washi Label punch.

I cased this idea from French Stamps . This link goes right to her video. I changed my card up just a little bit. Changed the color combo and added the Happy Birthday at the bottom of the card.

This was a fun card to make!

This card was used with the Circle of Spring Stampin Up set. It will be one of the cards we will be doing at the Easter class on March 8th.
I used Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo card stock. Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, and So Saffron Markers. I also used the Wonderful Wreath Framelits die to match the Circle of Spring stamp set.
Come and take the class and make this fun card!

A Nice Cuppa!

I've been wanting to use this set since I first saw it last November. I finally made ONE card with it!
It is a photopolymer set called A Nice Cuppa. It also has a matching die set called Cups & Kettle Framelits.  I only used the stamp set for the sentiment. I have also used the yummy Pool Party Glimmer Ribbon. I love this ribbon. I really wish it came in pink!
I have used the Birthday Bouquet dsp which is my favorite for this catty. I saw the Hexagon Hive die used like this and loved it too. Especially since that is another die I had never used but had for along time.

Easter Egg W/Work of Art!

I found this adorable card on Tami Whites Blog . I just loved the card so of course I had to case it. I did change it just a little bit. I added more flowers and did a different greeting.
The card is made with the Work Of Art stamp set, also I used the greeting from Circle of Spring. It has some nice little greetings in it.
I used So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzaz inks for the egg. So Saffron and Blushing Bride card stock for the flowers with the little flower punch.
I think this card is very cute!

Another Easter Card and My New (Antique) Tea Cart!

So for everyone that knows me very well or has been to my house you know I love and collect tea things. One of my best SU customers and good friend gave me this antique tea cart. I just love it!!
I put it in my entry way and put my Valentine bouquet from my hubby and my Valentines cards on it.
Also I have an antique creamer and sugar bowl, and a beautiful creamer and sugar bowl another really good friend gave me! I think it looks really good in this spot.
I also got the doily that is on it from The Hens Tooth in Sisters on our trip there. I got a bigger one for my dining room table. I didn't want anything bigger on it because I didn't want to hide the pretty oak.

For my Easter card, I used the Stampin Up Easter Lamb set and the Happy Easter from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I think this card would also make an adorable baby card.
I have used Pink Pirouette and papers from the Birthday Bouquet dsp. The little lamb is embossed with White Embossing Powder on Soft Suede card stock.

Easter Bunnies!

This is a cute little Easter Bunny Card I found on here on JanB's Youtube channel. I just thought it was so adorable!
It is using the Friends and Flower set out of the Spring Occasions catty. Also I used the new Blushing Bride Glimmer paper to give it a little sparkle!
I think the bunnies look so cheery and happy! They are definitely ready for Easter to be here. The Happy Easter is from the Easter Lamb stamp that is also in the Spring Occasions catty!

Hubby Valentine!

This was my hubby Valentine Card. I didn't show it earlier because he does occasionally take a peek at my blog. I used the Skys The Limit stamp set which was a sale a bration set until February 15th. It is no longer available. But it is a good masculine set.
I also used the sale a bration Perfectly Artistic Dsp which is also no longer available.
I used some vellum for the propeller and red ink for the stream of exhaust coming out of the plane with a heart in the middle. My hubby loves airplanes so this card was perfect for him!

Watercolor Wings!

I found some great videos on YouTube using Watercolor Wings Stamp  set and the matching dies.
You can find them here . I have been watching JanB and I took two of her cards and combined them and then changed them each a little bit to make this card. I think it is a very delicate looking card.
The butterflies are stamped and cut out. I used Mossy Meadow, Cucumber Crush and Mint Macaroon. Then I cut out the detailed butterflies with a shimmery vellum. The background is run thru a embossing folder with Mint Macaroon ink on the embossing folder. I have used Cucumber Crush ribbon. I think it goes really well with the Mint macaroon card stock and ink.

Pretty in Purple Class and Mt Washington!

I went to Sisters with a couple of awesome friends on monday and the day was perfect! We had such a good time and the weather was beautiful. This is a picture of Mt Washington. When I went to Sisters in October there was not one flake of snow on it. I was really glad to see snow this time.
When I was trying to get to the viewpoint to take this picture the snow was about 2 feet deep. I thought it had a nice crust on it but then found a spot that didn't and sunk up to my knees in the snow!

For my pictures today this is a class I am holding next tuesday at Main St.  The top card is made with Heartfelt Creations. I stamped the poppy and then colored it with copies. I stamped another image with just the center flowered, colored it and then popped it up with foam tape.
I used some spellbinders border abilities dies along the sides and embossed the white cardstock with a Brenda Walton Embossing folder.

The bottom card is all Sizzix, dies and stamps. It was fun to make!

Number of Years Notecard Sets!

I found these adorable little notecards and now I can't remember where to give credit where it is due.
I made these when we were at the beach earlier this week. It was a good set to do at the beach. I did everything except cutting out the banner and all I had to take was stamps, inks and papers. Not too much to pack and it was fun to work on them at the condo we like to stay at. Except the first 24 hours we couldn't get it above 60 degrees so it was a little chilly but that is a whole other story!!

I had these little boxes with clear lids I put 6 of each card in them and since they are notecard size there was room left over so I had some pretty pens and put one in each of them also.

This is the Number of Years set in the Occasions Catty and it is fun. It has a full set of Number stamps and these flowers. It is very fun. It has a matching die set also for the numbers and the cute little banner. The banner die is cool because there are two other stamp sets with a stamp that fits the banner die!

I did the Pool Party dots on half of the cards and left them out on half of them. I like them both.

We had a beautiful day here in the Willamette Valley. Practically spring! It is so nice to see a clear blue sky again.

Botanical For You Note Card Holder!

This is a fun little notebook you make 4 of the notecards to put inside. The notebook is made with one sheet of 12 x 12 paper and 4 notecards fit on the inside with envelopes. I have use the Botanical Builder Framelit dies, Botanical Blooms and the Botanical Gardens DSP which you can get all three of these items in a bundle.
It is a fun project to make. I found the project at Patty Stamping Spot . She has great ideas.

I will be doing a class to learn how to do this on February 18th.

Grateful Bunch!

I saw this card here . The blog is Simply Simple Stamping with Connie Stewart and she has lots of great stuff. This was a card she posted that she received from a friend of hers. So I can't give total credit where it is due. I did change the card up a bit also. I didn't take a picture of the inside but I used the corner trio punch on each corner and the flower you see here is on the inside showing thru to the outside. I also added the "Your are totally awesome" on the outside of the card. Connie also has an awesome two minute tuesday tutorial on how to use the corner trio punch to make this tag.
I love the colors on this card and never would have thought to use them together. They are Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush and Pool Party. The dots are done with the Dots for Days background stamp in Cucumber Crush on the Pool Party cardstock. I am not a big fan of Cucumber Crush but like how it looks on this card. It looks a lot darker when it is stamped on Pool Party.

Also you can get Grateful Bunch with the matching flower punch (used for the pink flowers) in a bundle for 15% off in the occasions catalogue.
The flower punch is great. You stamp it and then punch all three flowers at once. Its a lot easier then the triple flower punch they used to have.

I embossed the flowers on melon mambo with white embossing powder and then punched them out.
I added some rhinestones to the flower centers and the greeting.

I think this will make a great thank you card for a few special customers!
