Beautiful Day!

I just love these Foil papers. They are so pretty. Its so sad they will be gone in just a little over a week.
I have used the Beautiful Day stamp set with this card. The butterfly is embossed in gold and then colored in with Berry Burst ink with a water brush. Its a very simple but elegant card!

Spring Class!

Spring is officially here! (According to the calender anyway!) My next class in April will be a spring class. All flower cards in honor of spring.
This is one of the cards we will be doing!
Also the new Annual Catalog goes live on June 2nd. So we don't know yet what is going to be carried over or discontinued. So I decided to pull some stamp sets off the shelves and dust them off and actually use things out of the Annual Catalog. I have a bad habit of just using things in the Occasions or Holiday catalogs when they are out and forget about the Annual Catalog.
So I have pulled out Tranquil Tulips! I love this set. It is two step stamping but it is so easy and fun to do. You don't even have to have two different colors. Just one color or a nice detailed image.
I have used Berry Burst and Daffodil Delight for the tulips. The cone shape flowers are Rich Razzleberry and the little flowers are Pink Pirouette and Berry Burst.
I have also used the gorgeous Berry Burst Gold Edged ribbon. I do know this ribbon is coming back and I am so excited. The white and cream are coming back too. So you could make these ribbons in any color you would like!!
For more details on this card, sign up for my class on April 10th!

Last Orchid Builder Card!

I realized the other day I forgot to post my last of 3 Orchid Builder Cards. This one I had done for a sketch challenge but didn't get it to them in time. I love the color combo for this card.
I used the same color for the orchids on all three cards but really like the way they all turned out totally different!

Easter Bunny Treat Box!

Here is a cute little treat box for Easter. I made it with the Lots to Love Framelits Dies. They are one of the new die sets in the Occasions catalog. This die set is used for lots of different things besides the box it is made to make.
I found this idea on facebook from Monica Gale . She has some great ideas. I added the carrot and the feet to it. I also added the Jelly Beans on the inside and put some  acetate in the front to make a window out of it.
Anyone that comes to my class this coming Thursday the 22nd will get one of these little bunnies or if they place an order between now and the end of March. I do have limited supplies tho!

Spring Class At Main St Today!

These are my cards for Main St Stamp and Stationary this afternoon. I am using dies from Tonic Studios. The one above is kind of dome shaped. It is a fun card and then I used the die flat on the bottom card. I have used some fun papers from Graphic 45 and the birdhouse die is from Memory Box.

Orchid Builders Day 2!

Here is my second card using the Orchid Builder Bundle. I was inspired by a card I saw on Facebook but I didn't have the same supplies they had so I went with what I had.
Its kind of interesting when you leave home to stamp. At the retreat I had limited supplies to work with so I had to make do with what I had.
I used the new Simple Stripes Textured Empbossing Folder with Soft Sky Cardstock. Then the white is embossed with the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing folder that you can receive for free with a $100 order. It is a Sale A Bration item.
I colored my Gold Edged Ribbon with one of my blends. I just love coloring this ribbon. You can have any color you want. Use all the blends. If you want a color that doesn't have a blend, mix some re inker with alcohol and put it in a spritzer or even an empty Wink of Stella pen.
Speaking of Wink Of Stella, I used it on my orchids. You an really see the shimmer here but in real life it is shimmery. I stamped the flowers with Berry Burst and then colored them in with Wink of Stella making the ink run a little giving the flowers a pink look.
I used the Happy Birthday die with Gold Foil paper and put a strip of Bundle of Love Specialty paper across the back. I have used Pink Pirouette cardstock cut out with the Stitched Shape Framelits.
For a little bit of extra bling I added some Glitter Enamel dots!

Orchid Builder #1

I bought this set awhile ago because there was a specific card I wanted to make. I cant remember what it was. I decided to take this bundle to the retreat with me last week and make something with it.
So I challenged myself to make three cards with it. This is one of them.
I used some of the Cake Soiree designer papers. I only had a few ink pads with me, so I swiped one out of a project kit and borrowed one. I also had all the new Stampin Spots. So that gave me enough to work with. That's the thing about packing for a crafting event. Its so hard to know what to bring.
I brought tons of stuff and didn't have everything I wanted!!
I had also thrown in the Lovely Words Thinlits and decided to use those also. I really liked how it turned out.
The ribbon is the Silver Edged Ribbon. I just love it and you can make it in lots of colors. I used the Old Olive Blend on this to make it a nice green to match the centers of the flowers and the leaves.
It is so gorgeous in every color I have tried with it!
I was really excited to read yesterday that it will be carried over to the new catalog!!

Strawberry Pie!

I've seen a few cards with the pie. This is my version. Its really fun to make and no calories!!!
It is made with the new Basket Weave Embossing folder, which you can receive for free during Sale A Bration with a $100 order. This includes the Blossoming Basket stamp set. They come in a bundle.
I have also used the Stitched Shape Framelits and the Layering circles to make this pie.
Since I used the strawberry paper design from the Tutti Frutti paper pack I decided this is a strawberry pie!

Class Photos and Leavenworth Pics!

Here are some awesome pictures from the retreat I went on last week. We were just a few miles from Leavenworth, WA. This is the second time I have been to this retreat and it is awesome. This is actually a Technique retreat. This year we used the new Blends and Brusho.
Over the next few days I will be showing some of the projects we worked on.
But for today I am showing the cards we will be making at my class this Thursday. We are using the wonderful new paper in the 2nd batch of Sale A bration freebies. You get a full 12 x 12 paper pack of some wonderful foil paper. We are cutting out flowers and coloring this awesome paper!
There is still room and time to sign up for this Thursdays class!
