Purse #2!

Here is the 2nd purse I made. This one is stampin up papers. I inked the middle flower to make it match. I think the blue in the papers was pacific point, but I used Island Indigo for the papers and ink. It matched really well. There is one other purse I did that I used one color paper and another ribbon that matched good too that you will see later.
I woke up at 4am this morning with a christmas idea in my head so I am off to make it before we go to the beach today. It is supposed to be gorgeous there!

MIA!

I know I havent been around for a few weeks. I have been working lots of overtime and working on a large order of purses. So for the next few days or so or until I have time for a new card you will be getting pictures of all the purses I have been making.
Here is the 1st one:

Also, we had a couple of vistors last weekend. They were the cutest. But our other cats didnt think so!

Lulubell is getting so big and Kati is feeding them some kind of organic food. They fur is so soft. She used to have ruff fur. Not anymore, both of them feel really soft. Frankie and Keke are checking each other out, but Sam is out the back door now whenever Kati comes over even if she doesnt have the kitties with her!

Jules!

This is Jules! I am casing a card from Stamping Mindy . I love the card she did. This is using a digi stamp from Saturated Canary . If you like this style of stamp they have tons of gorgeous ones. Downloading them is a breeze from there also. I used some retired stampin up papers for this. I just love these papers. The ribbon is pool party seam binding. I added lots of pearls and some flowers. Jules is so cute with her little kitty.

Ribbit!!

This little guy is from Great Impressions. I am so glad they went to unmounted. Cuts down on the cost and the storage space. The sentiment is from GI also. I used some old papers I had had around for awhile, some SU ribbon and some flowers, then I needed somethng extra so I added the butterflies. I should have put some rhinestones on the butterflies but oh well!
I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday! He is colored with copic markers and then I added some googly eyes and used my rectangle nesties to cut him out and the scalloped rectangles with gumball green from su to layer him with.

Wild Thing!

I am calling this card Wild Thing because I have three different animal prints on here. The zebra paper, the stamped leopard? print and the rhinestone things are a little bit of animal print also even tho you cant tell that on this card. I love how this card turned out.
Yesterday we drove the back roads from south Salem to Independence on the way to the beach. I finally got to visit the scrapbook store there. Running w/ Scissors. Not a big store but I found a coupld of cool papers and satisfied my curosity.
I made this card with digital stamps fromWhimsie Doodles . The sentiment, chair and girl are all from them. All digis's. I printed the chair on my ds paper then cut it out. I have never done that before. I printed it a second time on white cs so I could strenghten it a little and also get the legs on white to color with copic markers.
The background behind the little girl is stamped with the retired SU On Safari background stamp. The zebra print paper is called Sugar Chic from Heidi Swapp and I have paired it with Rose Red cs and cream cs also. For the ribbon, I had just enough cream seam binding from su for 6 cards. I stamped the ribbon with the same background stamp I used on the card with Rose Red ink.
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday .

Practise, Practise, Practise!

I know my color is a little dark on this picture but I think you can still see the difference. I colored the same little girl all the same except her hair. I did it a little different on each image. I think this little girl is so cute. She is a digital image. When I have a finished project with her on it I will figure out who she is from and let you know all the deets.
I colored her hair with all different variations of YR 20-27 copic markers. Plus a lipstick atyou Spica pen.

RAINY DAYS!

I made three of these, two of them were january calenders. I figured by january we will be ready for some color when we flip those calenders. I wanted to use my new snowflake die from SU for january but I dont have any Tildas that fit winter. One or two christmas ones but not much(maybe I should get more tildas). I pulled out some really old papers with umbrellas (you can almost see them) and also used the Memory Box Petite Umbrella die. Added some flowers.
I really liked how bright it turned out. I have also been taking an online copic class. I used a technigue on the shading for this. Not sure about that yet. I only watched a little of it. I need to get busy on that. I did use some of what I learned on her face and hair also but as always with coloring it is practise, practise, practise.
I have also used the sketch from CLP sketch challenge

Cherry Tilda Again!

I love this little cherry tilda so much that I decided to use her again. I used some different cherry papers this time and real red cs. I used the same flowers and little cherry as the last cherry card. I used a nestie for the card base. Its just a front, its not on the back of the card. I love the floral oval nestie. It looks so elegant. I didnt do any challenges for this card tho.

February!

I had two more calenders to do for next year, January and February. I always try to make a card to match the calenders for some reason. This is the card I made when doing the Feb calenders. Now I am all done and we are already talking about the next year. The last two years we did were Maggies and next year we are going to do Lily of theValley calenders. So that should be fun.
I pulled out some really old Basic Grey papers and also really old SU  felt flowers. I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop. I rotated the sketch. Also the challenges I am entering are Just Magnolia Pretty in Pink. Its been along time since I have entered in Magnolia challenges. Crafty Catz 3-2-1 challenge.
Hope you will have time to go over and check them out also.
