This is a fun little notebook you make 4 of the notecards to put inside. The notebook is made with one sheet of 12 x 12 paper and 4 notecards fit on the inside with envelopes. I have use the Botanical Builder Framelit dies, Botanical Blooms and the Botanical Gardens DSP which you can get all three of these items in a bundle.
It is a fun project to make. I found the project at Patty Stamping Spot . She has great ideas.
I will be doing a class to learn how to do this on February 18th.
I saw this card here . The blog is Simply Simple Stamping with Connie Stewart and she has lots of great stuff. This was a card she posted that she received from a friend of hers. So I can't give total credit where it is due. I did change the card up a bit also. I didn't take a picture of the inside but I used the corner trio punch on each corner and the flower you see here is on the inside showing thru to the outside. I also added the "Your are totally awesome" on the outside of the card. Connie also has an awesome two minute tuesday tutorial on how to use the corner trio punch to make this tag.
I love the colors on this card and never would have thought to use them together. They are Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush and Pool Party. The dots are done with the Dots for Days background stamp in Cucumber Crush on the Pool Party cardstock. I am not a big fan of Cucumber Crush but like how it looks on this card. It looks a lot darker when it is stamped on Pool Party.
Also you can get Grateful Bunch with the matching flower punch (used for the pink flowers) in a bundle for 15% off in the occasions catalogue.
The flower punch is great. You stamp it and then punch all three flowers at once. Its a lot easier then the triple flower punch they used to have.
I embossed the flowers on melon mambo with white embossing powder and then punched them out.
I added some rhinestones to the flower centers and the greeting.
I think this will make a great thank you card for a few special customers!
These are really fun cards to make! I love the vintage feel of these cards. I have had the dies on the top card for at least a year and never used it before. It looks so pretty and delicate.
I am teaching this class at Main St in a little over a week!
Here is my second card from the Helping Me Grow stamp set. I stamped and then colored the other big flower with copic markers. Its hard to see but there is a little bit of glitter glue on it and some rhinestones. I added some Lost Lagoon ribbon.
Check out the weekly deals below!
I had a friend ask me to make a stampin up pop up box and this is what I came up with!
I have a sizzix pop up box die but didn't use it since it wasn't stampin up. I had made a pop up box once before but couldn't remember the dimensions. So I went online and found a pattern to do it.
There were several out there (probably a lot more than that!!) and I found one that I liked.
They are fun to make.
I used the Helping Me Grow stamp set for most of the card. I decided at the last minute I wanted to used the "for helping me grow" stamp and remembered I have the discontinued stamp set from the garden and tucked that in there too. The die for it is still current but not the stamp set.
I colored the flowers with copic markers.
The dsp papers are from the Sale A Bration catty so you can actually get those for free with a $50 order. So if you ordered the Helping me grow set and a few other things you could get the papers for free!
The die for the Thank you is from the Rose Wonder die set. There are several different stamp sets this die will work with!
There will be a class for this card in February and another card to go with it using the same stamp set but a different stamp and colors. So stayed tuned for that card also!
I love how this card turned out. It is simple but elegant. I should have posed it with my purple teacup. That would have been even better!!
This is card two of the three cards at the Butterfly Wishes class at Main St Stamp and Stationary I will be teaching on January 26th!
I have had this memory box die for along time. I have never used it but love how the purple paper peeks out thru all the little holes. The purple butterfly I have also had for along time. Its great to use things for the first time that you have had for over a year at least!!
Here is one of the butterfly cards that we will be doing at the butterfly class at main st later this month.
It uses a lot of dies and some beautiful papers from Kaisercraft.
Give Main St Stamp and Stationary a call and sign up. All the info is on my sidebar!
This is the third card I made using the Hello stamp! I actually cased this from pinterest and you can find the original card here . I think that this would be a great card to use the notecards with. The 3 1/2 x 5 inch cards and put them in a little box like container. I may be training that later this week.
I love the colors of this card. It is made with bermuda bay. I stamped off once for the body of the flower. This stamp set is from the Sale A Bration catty and it is called What I Love and it is a three step stamping set but I only used two steps. The leaves are Old Olive.
The ribbon is a fun skin ribbon in bermuda bay that is also in the new occasions catty.
You can see my supply list below!
Here is another card with the Hello stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catty. Most people that know me know that my favorite color combo is pink, black and white. Throw in some sparkle and I am in heaven.
So this card has my favorite color combo and the fabulous new Blushing Bride Glimmer paper! What more could a girl ask for??
I love this leaf die. I think it adds so much to the card.
You can see a complete supply list below!
I think this little bird is so cute! He is one of Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration sets called Honeycomb Happiness! He is here with an ice cream cone to say Hello!
I have colored him with copic markers. The icecream cone comes with the set. The honeycomb ball that is the actual "icecream" is from the new Occasions catty called Honeycomb Embellishments.
I was asked at my class this week to make some cards with the "hello". So the actual Hello stamp comes from another Sale-A-Bration set called Hello. It is one of a few Sale-A-Bration sets that is in the catty just for a limited time. It doesn't run thru March 31st like the other sets in the catty.
So if you would like to earn these two sets for FREE! please let me know and I can help you with that or you can just go to my online store and place an order.
If you don't know how Sale-A-Bration works, you get one free item out of the Sale-A-Bration Catty for every $50 you purchase.
I was also asked at my class to use the Have a Cuppa designer papers without showing any of the "tea" related papers in the stack. So I have used those papers on this card!
I made this card yesterday. I was playing around with the Rose Wonder Die. I just love the Rose Wonder sets. I cut it out in Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and then layered it on one of the papers from the Perfectly Artistic DSP which is free in the Sale A Bration catty with a $50 order.
The greeting and framed image around the greeting are from the Rose Wonder set also. I used the Trio corner punch on the upper corners of the yummy Birthday Bouquet DSP. So far it is my favorite paper.
Just leave me a comment if you would like my help getting hooked up with any of these great products!
I love these new papers from the Occasions Catalogue. They are too pretty to cover up with very much. so I just put a greeting on them and called it good!
The greetings are from Rose Wonder and so it the frame around it. There is also a matching die set for the Rose Wonder stamp set to cut out the little window. It is the Rose Wonder thinlit dies.
The papers are from the Birthday Bouquet DSP. It has a stamp set to go with it!
All of the new stuff is awesome!!
If you would like an Occasions catty, sale a ration catty or even a regular catty just leave me a comment and I would be happy to hook you up!
This adorable little hummingbird is from the Picture Perfect set coming out in the new catty!
It is a four step set for this hummingbird. It is very easy and fun to do.
I made a set of these for my MIL for christmas because she loves hummingbirds. I made a set of 6 with three different greetings, Happy Birthday, Thank you and Thinking of you!
Yeah, I finally got my computer back! My wonderful daughter fixed it for me. Funny thing that apple says they don't get virus's but my computer did. So Kati spent some time talking to Apple and fixing my computer for me!! I love having a family member that can do that for me!!
This card is another sneak peek from the new occasions catty going live next monday! I love this day! It is so festive and you can do so many things with it! These papers are really yummy also! The ice cream cones are adorable!!
Here is another card that will be at my Birthday Greetings Stampin Up class. This is a really fun set!
It has lots of balloons and fun words! Also there is a balloon punch with two sizes of balloons to match. It is a great bundle that will be in the new occassions catty going live next tuesday!
