Opps, I forgot!

I forgot to mention that the apron stamp for the card below is a Karen Lockhart stamp I got from Ellen Hutsons online store.
SG!

Personalized Gift #4

I think I need to work on how I take my pictures. They always turn out a little dark.
This is for my aunt's birthday. Everytime I visit she is always making yummy stuff and always has on a cute apron. So I thought this was perfect for her. Of course I used my justrite stamps again. But her initials wouldnt fit. So I used my monogram alphabet set from papertrey ink. I am not totally happy with how that turned out but oh well. I used some Daisy D's designer paper I picked up at the beach last weekend and the new stampin up cardstock melon mambo. I layered the ds paper with with to help it stand out a little. The ribbon I got last year at Flourishes. I punched out the flowers and added a brad and put a decorative brad at the top. I also used my nestibilites. My hubby made some comment the other day about not using my cuttlebug. Little does he know I used it and my nesties on almost every card I make.
I paper pieced the apron with some more daisy d's and colored it some with my copic markers.

A Day at the Beach

Yesterday we went to the beach. We had a great time. I went with three stamping friends. Alice, Eileen and Esther. We went to a scrapbook store, lunch at Mo's and shopping at Depoe Bay. The weather looked like it was going to be really bad but we only got a few "baby raindrops" as Eileen called them. Once on the way and once on the way back. When we were shopping at Depoe Bay the sun came out and it was warm and beautiful. We watched Taffy being made at the candy store and it was very interesting. Unfortunately, I left my camera in the car. But we watched it for a long time.
Then on the way home we stopped off at Dairy Queen and finished our day with some yummy ice cream!
Hope you all have a great week!

Pheobe! TECC72

I made this card for TECC72. Taylored Expressions Sketch challenge for this week. I took a picture of this card like 5 times and this is the best I could get it to turn out. I havent played with my Ketto girls from Stamping Bella for several months so I decided to bring Phoebe out to play.
I used all the new stampin up colors and papers. The colors are Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Melon Mamba. I also used the new ds paper Razzleberry Lemonade. I just looooove these bright colors.
I used my stampin up scallop border punch and my nestibilities. I also used the textile embossin folder from cuddle bug and some misc flowers and brads. I found some rhinestone flowers that really matched and glittered her wings.
I found 5 copic markers to match the new stampin up colors. I tried coloring her with my new incolor stampin up markers but I just didnt like them as well. I will save them for using with my watercolor brush.

Fifth Avenue Floral

I've seen this technique all over the place and I dont remember what it is called but I sure do love these two colors together. They are stampin up Bermuda Bay (new in color) and elegant eggplant. I also used the Fifth Avenue Floral set by stamping up. Actually all the ingredients for this card are stampin up except one re inker from Close to My Heart which is Hydrangea. I am really out of touch with CTMH so I dont even know if this color is still available.

I actually used solid stamps and my stampin up markers for the 1st time in a long time.
It sure made the card a lot quicker with no coloring. I used More Petal Prints and Hugs and Wishes both by stampin up. Cameo coral and always artichoke cardstock and markers. The ribbon is by papertrey ink. It sure matches good with the cameo coral. It is their Berry Sorbet and I love it.

Got Margaritas?!

Last night my friend Annie came over and put my marvy and misc punches on Craigs List for me. While she did that I made Romance and Cinnamon candles. We had yummy taco pizza and peach tea margaritas! So I thought I would show this card.
I used some yummy paper by DCWV. Its Sweet Fruity Glitter Paper. The stamps are by Clear Stamps called Margaritas. I colored the margarita with copic markers. Then used Diamond Glaze on the glass and put glitter where the sugar/salt would go. I used my nestibilites also. The ribbon is from codwholesale and I also used my stampin up scallop punch.

Bridal Shower Candles and Card

This is a card and candles I did for a bridal shower for a co worker. Her wedding colors are lavender and silver. Both her name and her fiance's name were too long for the charms so I just put the month and year on them at the bottom. The candles are scented Grandmas Blueberry Cobbler. It smells yummy. The card is done with a door county rubber stamp. I used flower soft on her bouquet. I ran the background thru the cuttlebug with the textile embossing folder. I was going to silver emboss her dress and then as I was coloring it remember you can use copic markers on it so I just stamped it in black. Highlighter a few areas in lavent and outline glittered it all. I used a stampin up oval scalloped punch and sincere salutations for the sentiment and some codwholesale ribbon.
I am off today to go buy some more copic markers. Yeah!
