Magnolia Valentine

Here is a little magnolia valentine. She is so cute with all her hearts. I pulled some more old papers out of my stash for her, punched some white and pink hearts and then ran them thru the cuttlebug with the stampin up hearts embossing folder. I used the sketch from Just Magnolia challenge for the week. I am entering her in a few other challenges also.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp

I made this card for the sketch at sunday sketch and stamp.  I used some old basic grey papers I have had forever. I have been trying to pull out old papers and use some up. I stamped her with a retired stampin up set. I think its called You Grow Girl. I like the sentiments it has. I only have this one set and the previous Saturated Canary preggie girl. Preggi girls are not cards I need a lot of. The sentiment is done with a stampin up punch and die and the girl is cut out with spellbinders dies. I added some flowers and some of the pretty glitter buds I got from Michaels Recollection line. I have found out recently that line is made exclusively for Michaels. They have lots of cool stuff. The ricrac is really old also. One of those that comes with like a yard of several different ribbons thats been laying around forever.
The girl at work I made this card for loved it!

Is It Coffee Yet?

I was thinking about getting this monkey from CC Designs at All That Scraps and then found this sentiment from Riley stamps at Peddlers Pack and knew it would be perfect for this little guy. Then I felt it needed something else so I dug up the Is it Coffee Yet? from a greeting set I had from a long time ago from Hanna Stamps who isnt around anymore.
I used the sketch from sketch saturday. The papers are some old ones from my stash. I used Spellbinders for both the image and sentiment. Colored the little guy with copic markers and add flowers and ribbon.

Violet!

This is Violet! Isnt she adorable. You can find her at Saturated Canary. They have some really cute digi images there. I used the circle hearts from nestiblitlies. I made this card for the saturated canary blog challenge. They want you to use one of their images and dies or punches. I also made this card for the sketch at Sweet Stop sketch, which also has a twist of non traditional valentine. Since Violtet is wearing hearts and I used the heart die I thought it could pass for that also.
I found this paper from an old paper pad I have. I love all the papers feel like wallpaper. I added some flowers, ribbon and rhinestones.
I think she is really pretty!

Taylored Expressions!

I get Taylors newsletters regularly and every once in awhile I love everything and have to get it. This month (I think it was this month) I got several stamp sets and several dies. This card uses the wreath die and the Rose Wreath stamp set. So the wreath and phrase and its hard to see but on the bottom of the wreath are two roses layered with three leaves. These are all from this set. I colored them with copic markers and glittered them up. I also added some pink polka dot ribbon and embossed the white which are both from stampin up and the border punch at the bottom is a new one from Recollections. They have a whole line of stuff at Michaels and they are pink and cream. So I am loving the colors of them.

Bee Happy!

I really am liking making this type of cards. They are different and fun.
On this card I used all Peddlers Pack stamps again. I used a martha stewart punch down the sides with white and the card base is real red. The ds papers I used are from the Reminisce line Crazy in Love and this one is called Love Story. You can barely see the striped paper behind the image and then the dotted paper is the other side. I used a heart punch and a spellbinders die for the hearts. The little hearts I ran thru one of the new little embossing folders in the stampin up mini catty. I colored the image with copic markers and added some glitter. I also added some rhinestones along the bottom on the border punched area.

Lots of rain no. Its 50 degrees already and only 8am. This will probably be our weather for quite awhile now.

Peddlers Pack!

Here is another card using all Peddlers Pack stamps. If you like any of the images used with these stamps there is a link on my side bar.
I stamped this image in black and then colored it with copic markers. Its hard to tell in this picture but I colored the vase in red and then used liquid glaze by Inksentials over it to make it look like it is ceramic or glass. The heart on the upper right is done with a Spellbinders die and is embossed in red metallic paper but it is in shadow and also hard to see. I used a Martha Stewart punch with one of the ds papers, red and white cardstock and stamped the greeting on the white. Then topped it off with ribbon and a bow.
I made this card using the sketch at Sketch Saturday.

Monkeying Around!

I am just loving these CC Designs digital stamps. This little monkey is sooo adorable.
I havent decided yet if I need more embellishments on him or not or just leave him the way he is. I think he needs a sentiment or greeting but I am still working on it. I got another one of their monkeys, I think he is a latte monkey and I got it because I found an adorable sentiment to go with a coffee drink. So I hope to get to him today but I need to work on Peddlers Pack Valentine samples 1st. So we will see how far I get.
I made this card another card. If you ever want to learn about the Center Step Card you can go to Splitcoast Stampers to the resource section and they have TONS of tutorials on making all different kinds of items. Cards and lots of other projects.
I used some old paper from Paper Pretties that was in my stash and combined it with Pool Party cardstock, added some stampin up ribbon and some flowers and was set. But I think he might need more. I will think about it today as I am working on other cards and let you know if I change it!

You Grow Girl!

I just think this image is soooo cute. It is fromSaturated Canary. It is an etsy store where they sell digital stamps. This one is called Pickles and Ice Cream. I wanted to make a card for two girls at work that are expecting. I had these BoBunny papers in my stash I think probably for several years at least. I used some new buttons I had purchased from All that Scraps. There is a link in my previous post. After I printed her out, I colored the image with copic markers. I layered on a white scallop circle diecut and also added some of the ruffled ribbon and new little buttons from the stampin up mini catty. Also the sentiment is from stampin ups old retired set Swell News.
I am entering her in the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft Challenge Something New (my stamp and the new baby on the way)
Crafty Catz Something New (Ditto)
Papertake Weekly Die Cute

Yummy Cupcake!

This yummy looking cupcake is from CC Designs. It is a digital stamp and you can find it at All That Scraps.
The flowers are from there also. They have an awesome selection of flowers. You can actually find alot of stuff you might be looking for. Tons of stamps, like Magnolias and lots of other favs, papers, ribbon, spellbinders. All kinds of fun treasures.
I started making this card with two challenges in mind. But my mind took over and I dont think it qualifies for them. The Greetings on this set are from the new set in the Stampin Up mini called Sweet Cake. It is a fun set. This is the only thing I have used it for so far. The papers are from the DCWV paper stack called The Sweet Stack. I colored the image with copic markers and added some glitter. Also some pretty in pink satin ribbon from SU and Pink Piroutte cardstock. I also used the little frame on the greeting from the Tea Shoppe set also out of the SU mini and stamped it with Pixie.

Help Me!

I promised myself this year I would try to post something every day this year. I ran out of card samples so whats next best my Kitties! Here they are on a blanket right by me. I had blankets for them in two different places on my stamping tables because they always have to be right there. I know, I spoil them what can I say. I like it as much as they do. So of course even tho they had two blankets they both had to be on the same one. This one looks like Sam decided if there wasnt room then he would just lay on top of Keke but it looks like Keke is looking at me saying "Help Me". THe big lug's got me pinned and I cant get up!
They are the silliest cats and I love them to pieces.

Attic Boutique!

Here is another card made with almost all new things out of the stampin up mini occasions catty. I love, love, love this paper. It is so delicate and feminine. Not all the papers in the set are delicate like this but a few others are. Very Victorian I think. Thats probably why I like it so much. It is called Attic Boutique. The flower is the new set Mixed Bunch and it matches perfectly with the new flower punch. I has used three layers on the flower. I stamped and punched one flower twice and rotated it a little and three d'd it and then stamped another flower from the set and punched it with the scalloped circle punch. The colors are daffodil delight and retired dusty durango. The cardstock is Poppy Parade and I was sure I bought that ink pad with the other in colors but couldnt find it anywhere. So I think the Dusty Durango matches pretty good. I topped the flower off with a brad from the incolor brads in the main catty. I also used a greetings from Sincere Salutations with a few other su punchs and the border punch along the center and scalloped edge border punch. So all su products again on this card.

Marina Mist Doily

Boy, blogger sure has changed things around. I am having a really hard time figuring out how to download and post with this new system they just seemed to install today. Me and computers arent the most compatible.
My card is all stampin up products. I found a couple of cards this style on Splitcoast stamper. I dont have a direct link but if you go to splitcoast and check out either the Doily stamp or Field of Flowers I think the set is you will find a couple of cards like this one. I used Marina mist cardstock, ink and ribbon. Plus black and the greeting is from a newer set. I am not in my stamp room right now so I cant tell you exactly what this greeting set is called.
I do so much love this doily stamp.  I dont know why I dont use it more. I did emboss the back layer on the card. It is with a stampin up embossing folder. So all products on this card are stampin up except the black ink and the white cardstock.

Bordering On Romance!

This card is made with Bordering on Romance. One of the new sets in the Occasions Mini SU Catty. The ds papers are new also. They are from Attic Boutique. I love this paper. It is so delicate and pretty. I stamp the image and used my watercolor brush and ink pads to colored it. The dies are from the mini and so are the ones at the bottom of the card. Along with little embossing folders to match. I added some ribbon and pearls and fell in love with the card.

A friend and coworker loves owls. So I made her this card box set. I used this cute owl from The Greeting Farm. I think he/she is adorable. The papers are from a 6x6 pad from Crate Paper called Random. I added the flowers to the box and used Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon from Stampin Up.
She really loved it when I gave it to her.

Splish Splash!

This is a digi image from Di's Digi downloads. I saw him on her blog a long time ago and purchased him. I finally got around to coloring him up and making him into a card. In fact my whole card is inspired by the card done on her blog.  You can check them out at Di' Digi Downloads. They have lots of cute images.
I printed him out and colored him with copic markers. Then added liquid applique for the bubbles and heated them with my heat gun. I used a new embossing folder from cuttlebug I actually found at Fred Meyers. They are carrying Cuttlebug and Circut products. I made several different cards with him with different ribbons and papers to use up scraps. Also the sparkley swirlys are glittered diecuts I found at Michaels. They are  made out of chipboard. All you have to do is peel off the back and stick them on.

1st Centerfold Card

This is my 1st centerfold card. I have been wanting to try this for along time but thought it would be time consuming, but it was really easy and fun. I had just picked up this polka dotted paper the other day, and this adorable image is a digital stamp from CC Designs. You can get her at All That Scraps.  They almost everything you could want there and lots of digi images also.
I printed her out and then colored her with copic markers, cut her out and then after attaching her to the card with foam tape, I glittered the balloons, cupcake top and wings. The ribbon matches my new paper perfectly and it is from PaperTrey Ink. Dont you just love when your supplies match up that come from different companies? I added some flowers and for a little bit of lacey look I added a white strip down the sides and across the bottom with a stampin up border punch. The greeting is from Karen Lockhart and the border around it is from a new stampin up set called Tea Shoppe which is now available in the new Occassions Mini catty. I used taken with teal ink for the border which also matches the ribbon and papers perfectly.
I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

TeamWork!

I made a card like this about 1 1/2 yrs ago at a class. I wanted to remake it with different papers and I really like how it turned out. These papers are from Graphic 45 Once in A Springtime Collection. I used some peach cardstock and some lace ribbon with it. The original card was done with distressed inks on watercolor paper, but I did this with copic markers on Neenah white cardstock.
I used some marvy flower punches and some baby pearls.
I think I like this one much better than the one we did in class. It was with dark brown and green and distressed with brown ink.
The stamp is called TeamWork and is by Penny Black.

Penny Black Kitty!

This is a Penny Black stamp set I picked up in Coos Bay last fall. I think it is soo cute. It would be purrfect for Valentines, thinking of you or birthday. Maybe even Sympathy.
I used some fun Authentique Uncommon Papers that I also picked up at the coast only at a cute little shop in Brookings I think.  I paired it with Blushing Bride cardstock and colored it with copic markers and used square nesties to cut it out. The sentiment is from a stampin up set Field Flowers.
I used the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch to make the card.
Also I almost forgot, the flowers and little drops at the top are from Recollections. I picked them up at Michaels. They are so glittery and pretty. The flowers came in pick and white, and the drops come in a range of colors and several sizes. The pink ribbon I have had for awhile. I think I might have picked it up at Craft Warehouse awhile back.

Topsy Turvy Cake!

Here is a bright cheery birthday card. Nothing christmas or winter about it. I am definately ready for spring even tho winter has just started. But my hubby was working in the yard this weekend and informed me our daffodils are coming up! Yeah!
For my card today I used Topsy Turvey Cake Set from JustRite Stampers. It has three different cakes and some centers, plus the oval sentiment shown on this card. I pulled out some Girls Paperie papers from last year and some of the crinkly yellow ribbon I love. Along the bottom I used a Martha Stewart border punch I just picked up at Paper Zone. So Sad they are going out of business. I made the flowers with some flower punches and added a little dimension and a rhinestone.
