Tilda w/Big Ice Cream

In case anyone has been missing me heres the deal! I transferred to a new office in January, (and got a promotion). I wanted to start at a brand new office and work from the ground up. But I am working 10-18 hours of OT every week. So that's really cut down on my stamping. I have totally canceled my stamp club and this challenge at stamp and create is my only stamp obligation I am doing right now.
I seem to find time to buy fun stuff of course tho. In fact this Saturday I am taking a road trip with both my sisters to Federal Way, WA to Hobby Lobby. I have read a lot about them on some blogs but have never been to one myself. So I am really excited. Plus I think it has been at least over 10 years since I have done anything with both my sisters especially a road trip.

So on to my card:

If you hope on over to stamp and create store you can find some great things with really good prices. That is where I got this adorable Magnolia stamp called Tilda w/Big Ice Cream. They have all kinds of stamps over there and great embellishments also. I love all of their little charms too. Very fun!!
So this card is for the challenge at the Stamp and Create W/Magnolia Blog   challenge. I am on Team B and this week is a spring theme with buttons. You can check out all the great samples the other girls on the stamp and create Challenge blog have created to get some good ideas. If you join the challenge you have the chance to win a free magnolia stamp also.

I am also entering this card in the Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia challenge, ribbons or lace
and am using the sketch from sunday sketch and stamp .
I have colored this little gal with copic markers and used some fun sei papers that have ice cream cones and cotton candy on them. I have added some fun buttons too, even an ice cream cone button.
I had just enough of this fun swirly ribbon for one card left also.

Fun at the Beach!

We went to the beach this last weekend. It was sooo Gorgeous there! 80 degrees in parts of it. We drove down on the beach outside of Pacific City and saw this tree tucked away in a little cove like area. These look like bouys or whatever it is they put on the docks so the boats don't hit it. I am assuming someone did this to the tree but I don't know where they got them all.
It looked perfect like it was decorated for Easter. We also saw just a little bit of some whales, that was fun too.
We also made it to two scrapbook stores over there. It was a great day!
If only I could get my hubby to go to Mo's with me it would have been perfect!

Spring Crocus!

This card is made using the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday . I used some more of my pretty spring papers. I also used a stamp from Our Daily Bread. I stamped it twice on white diecut and then a third time on another piece of it. Then I colored it with copic markers and cut out the extra one and foam mounted it in the center of the two.
I used one of my new Martha Stewart butterfly border punches that came in a set of four. Two border and two regular. I think one of the regular ones is actually a corner punch. Anyway I saw a video on them and had to have them. Cant remember where I saw them.
I also used one of my new nesties on this card and ran the yellow die cut piece thru my all time favorite swiss dots embossing folder.
