Isnt this the most adorable little guy ever??? He is already for a party! My kind of guy he has the cake and not just one bouquet of flower but two.
This little guy is a digital stamp. You can find him at Cuddly Buddly. They have all kinds of adorable stamps.  He goes perfect for the challenge at digital tuesday. You always have to use a digital image and this week is to have an animal too.

Fun at the Beach!

Alice and I spent the weekend at her beach house in Rockaway. We had a great time making cards all weekend. Saturday I didnt even get dressed or put makeup on. Just made cards. We didnt even leave the house. Then I thought maybe we should have since it was the nicest day there. But oh well. We had too many fun cards to make!
This card works for several challenges. Crafty Catz Pink and Green, also Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
I have been wanting to use this stamp since I got it probably over a year ago. She is one of the Sugar Nellies girls you can find at Funky Kits. She is a Home Grown Manga called Coffee time.  They are a company overseas but I think I got my orders from them in 1 week or so.
So here is my card.
I hope you enjoy this card!

Plus an embossing folder and ribbon.
I love these papers. I just bought a whole bunch more that I had used all of for my yellow iris card. I had to use the yellow checkered side and next I want to use the rose side.
Cant wait!

Heartfelt Creations Roses!

I love how this card turned out all bright and delicate. But it looks so so much prettier in real life.
This is Grandiflora Rose set from Heartfelt Creations. The sentiment is from Peddlers Pack. I used the Martha Stewart punch along the bottom and some Melissa Frances designer Paper called Smile.
The flowers I stamped in black and then colored with copic markers and glittered. I used a Martha Stewart leaf punch.

Peddlers Pack Fathers Day!

I made this card for stamp club and Peddlers Pack sample and kits. All the stamps are Peddlers Pack and I purchased the ribbon there too. I love these ribbons. They come in lots of colors.
I put a little yellow in the headlights, tore around the car stamp and inked it and the sentiment to give it a little more vintage distressed look. Some dew drops around the corners also.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

Here is my second card using something from my stash from convention. This is a set from Heartfelt Creations. I used some papers that arent from the same company but I think go great together. The top paper is from Basic Grey. The bottom is from Graphic 45.
Here are the challenges I make this card for:
Cupcake Craft Challenge- In the Garden
Flutter by Wednesday Anything Goes
Sweet Sketch Wednesday- sketch
I punched the butterflies for the top right and put two little rhinestones on each wing. I also added some pink rhinestones to the corners. My cardstock are Pear Pizzaz and Rich Razzleberry.
I added extra flowers to the bouquet and added rhinestones to them.
I am making a different version that doesnt quite match the sketch.
Here is the sketch:

Fussy and Fancy Friday Recipe!

Over at Fussy and Fancy Friday today we have a recipe for everyone. 3 papers, 2 embellishments, and ribbon. So I pulled out my Tilda with a Big Bow and colored her up with my copic markers.
I also made this card for several other challenges but since I have to make my cards for FFF a week ahead I forget that some of the challenges are over by now. So lets see what I did and whose is still up and going.
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.
Magnolia Down Under Your favorite thing. Mine is my color combination pink and black. This was also the challenge for Crafty Catz but I missed that one. Magnolia licious challenge is black and white plus one other color. Which I choose as pink!
I used this great black and white glittery paper again from Best Creations. I love it. It really spruces up everything and is so much prettier in real life. It is from the wedding collection. I added it with one of the pink paper packs from stamping up. I used the striped and a little strip of one other paper. I added some fun flowers and ribbons plus some white dew drops. The white flowers I have had for awhile and finally got to use and some pink cottage roses. I also finally used the cool spellbinders with the heart border.

4th of July Peddlers Pack Style

I was asked to make some 4th of July cards. I know its early and I am not a person to make holiday cards early. But being a designer for someone you have to get used to that.
Here is one of the cards I made. Both of these stamps are Peddlers Pack stamps. I used a Martha Stewart punch along the bottom in red, white and blue. I added strips of ribbon. I had just enough ribbon left over to do the bows on the upper corners.

Peddlers Pack Trio!

This is a trio of cards I made with Peddlers  Pack Stamps. Even the two sentiments are from Peddlers Pack.
I like the crisp clean look of these cards. If I had one more I could have one for every season and make a seasonal set.

I made these two Iris cards with this Peddlers Pack stamp. One card I used a glue pen and glitter. The other card I ran thru the Xyron Machine and glittered the whole image. I then used a couple of nestibilites and some paper from the Girls Paperie and basic black and daffodil delight from stampin up.
I think this card turned out very pretty.

Time for a Magnolia!

I made time yesterday to play with one of my magnolias. I made a matching calender too. I still have two of my months left to do.
I used the mermaid and some sea papers I have had for awhile. This little gal is for September so I made colors that werent so springy.
I also made this card for two challenges. The first one if for Magnolicious Highlites. They have a sketch for this challenge and the second one is for Just Magnolia. Their challenge this week is Anything Goes. I love those, are my favorites.
I hope all you Mothers out there are having a great Mothers Day!

Its Fussy and Fancy Friday Time!

This week over at Fussy and Fancy Friday we were to use Mindys cool sketch and we got to pick an image from Simply Betty's images. So I picked this cute gal. I love her long hair and colorful outfit. I finally tried doing the dots around the image I have been seeing everyone doing. I didnt do it as much as some people do. I havent read up on it for awhile so I was trying it by memory. (You know how that goes!)
I think it turned out okay. I made it way ahead because I was off a week so I dont remember the name of the papers but you all know I love stripes, and flowers, and polka dots.
So anyway, click on Fussy and Fancy friday on my side bar and see what the other gals did.

Purple Boot!

This was a fun card I made. I really like the way it turned out. These last two cards are my favorites and they dont even have a Maggie on them. This fun boot is from Peddlers Pack. The papers are the same as the green hummingbird card I made only in purple, it is from Kanban. I really like these colors together. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set called High Heels. I also purchased the pretty purple ribbon from Peddlers Pack and the nestie too. I think it is Labels 18. The sentiment is nested on a nesties also. It is called Parisian something. Sorry I cant remember the whole name.

Bright and Cheery!

The wonderful sunshine we had yesterday must have inspired me to make this card. The weather was wonderful. I even went out and washed my car and waxed it (just a little).
I finally used my Build a Blossom punch and stamp set from stampin up. I have had it for a few months and never even put my stamps together.
I found this wonderful paper at a scrapbook store last weekend. Its is made by Crate Paper and called Emmas Shoppe Collection. I love the yellow gingham and the flowers. My cardstock is stampin ups Daffodil Delight. The sentiment is from Make an Impression. My little pink button is from stampin ups Sale a Bration catalogue and the butterfly is from Flora Doodles. I picked up the butterflys last year at a stamp store in Florence. I glittered my flower and added two little yellow roses. These are sitting on my new Lacey Oval nesties.
I made this card for the following challenges:
I used the sketch from sketch saturday. Creative Inspiration Pink, Yellow, Green. Flutterby Wednesday's recipe 3 flowers, 2 designer papers, 1 button and a butterfly. Also 7 kids flowers.

Favorite Card Boxes!

I think these are my favorite card boxes so far. I just made 6 more boxes with cards. Two of the pink, two purple and two more of the red. I used the polka dots and sheer ribbons on each of the boxes. I love how these sets turned out. The swirly black and white paper is very elegant. It is some wedding paper from Best Creations.
