I cant believe I am making a Valentines Card already. Thats totally not like me but I decided to make it for one our stamp club projects in January.

New Stampin Up Mini!

I just wanted to say I am really loving the new Stampin up mini catalogue coming out for January. I have ordered out of it twice already. I am in love with what they  call the vintage collection. Although it is not my idea of vintage. I would call it more Victorian. Maybe some people think they are the same thing but I definitely think they are different. I just love them.
Cant wait to play some more. January will be a busy month. I have just received an order for 75-100 baby shower invites and 4 monogrammed gift cards.
Plus I will have some exciting news to share on friday!

Another Pink Card!

So, christmas is officially over. Last week I kept seeing new images and wanting to make more christmas cards but then I started the pink ones yesterday and now I dont want to make anymore christmas cards.
I look at other blogs for inspiration and think how glad I will be when they have new cards on them.
This little bunny is so cute. I think it is Stampavie. I pulled him out weeks ago to stamp and didnt get around to it until yesterday. So he was out of his package but I am pretty sure I got him at Memories of Time in Coos Bay when I was there so that would make him a Stampavie stamp.
I stamped him on watercolor paper and then colored him with distressed inks. I am really starting to like coloring that way but it has to be the right kind of stamp. Nothing small with lots of details.
Then I put the pink stardream paper thru the cuttlebug with this folder I have been wanting to use for awhile and layered it on a white card base. I added the dew drops and ribbon. I wanted to add flowers but my daughter said No Mom thats enough. She didnt even like the dew drops or bow but I put them on anyway.

Pink Magnolia!

I think this is the 1st time this cute little magnolia has ever been inked. I made this card for 4 different challenges. I was hoping that the flower paper in the back would show more but only a little of it shows. It is some digital paper I purchased and printed out. I think it is really pretty with the pink roses. I stamped this Tilda on watercolor paper and colored her with a watercolor brush and Tim Holtz distressed inks. I did one other card with them today and am really liking how they turn out. I used glitter on her wings and some pink smooches on her dress. I think there was a little too much pink (I cant believe I just said that) so I added the green dew drops.
For the first challenge it was to make and easel card and can be found here at Totally Tilda Blog challenge.
The 2nd challenge was for Flutter By Wednesdays and has to have wings. You can find them here.
Next is Just Magnolias. You have to use their sketch. They are here.
The last challenge is Magnolia Down under. It is supposed to be A Gift For You. But I think this card is a gift all by itself. You can find them here.
I hope you like my card!

My Favorite Card Set!

Add caption

Tea for Two
I had another order from a coworker for a card set. I decided to use the tea for two set from Papertrey Ink. I also used my new goodies from the stampin up mini catty coming out next month. The papers and roses are from the Springtime Vintage Collection. I absolutely loooove this collection. I am going to order more really soon. I added a few dewdrops around the flowers on the box. I made the cards a little simple. No flowers, just a little pink bow. I hope it ever gets this gift likes it as much as I do. I am not a blue fan but the other papers in the set have some pretty blue papers and the roses come in blue also. So as soon as I have a few spare minutes and also another box I am going to make this in blues for a gift for a friend and another pink one for myself.
Well, off to work. I had to get up early to get this little set finished.

Lovely As A Tree!

Lovely As A Tree!
Dont you just love this stampin up set? No matter how long you have had you pull it out every year and use it over and over. How many stamps do you do that with? Me? Not Many.
I made this for our main christmas card this year. I made 30 of them but I should have made twice that many. The sentiment is an old stampin up standby set also. I am missing one stamp from it. I either lost when packing it somewhere or it is with another set and I have never found it. But it is all sentiments and greetings. I used it on all my christmas cards. It has 4 greetings and 4 sentiments I think so it comes it handy. I stamped the tree and then glittered it to give it a snowy look. I have been watching everyone do white on white so I gave it a shot. I think I like it.

Mini Magnolia and Fussy and Fancy Friday Blog Challenge!

Mini Magnolia
So I was checking out one of my favorite blogs Stampin Mindy and saw her simple christmas cards. She does the most beautiful cards. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! She does lots of magnolias. So it gave me an idea on how to use one of my Mini Magnolias. Boy when they came in the mail my first thought was. Wow, thats tiny. So I came up with this card. I think it is my favorite christmas card this year.
I have had to make lots of christmas cards to send out to family friends and coworkers. I didnt have much time so I made them all simple. I have ended up needing about 60 cards. This one I made 15 of.
The papers are the digital ones I mentioned a few posts ago. I love these papers and will definately try digi papers again.
I used a retired stampin up set for the sentiments, one the inside back of card and envelope I have the mini candy cane from Magnolias also. I am going to have to get some more Minis. I love them.
So my card fits the Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge for this week. In fact I have been working on three different christmas cards and they all three fit. This week is SNOW, so I have a little snow on the tree and the ground under tilda. So hop on over to Fussy and Fancy Friday and check out what the other gals have done. It is a great place for inspiration if you need. Although, Mindys blog is a great place also.

New Magnolia and Two Challenges!

This is a new magnolia I just received as a Christmas gift. (I think). Either that or birthday. I got them at the same time and opened them so I cant remember which was which but it came with this cute tilda and some glue and those things you put in it for a seal like tilda is doing. I thought since you do this after writing a letter she looks like she has just made her christmas list and is ready to seal it up for Santa. So thats why I went with the sentiment I did.
I made this for two different challenges and will post them below. I will also post the blog where I got the sketch for this card. The designer papers are digital. My 1st try at digital papers. I am not sure if they are cost effective or not when you consider how much ink they use. But I thought I would give them a try for fun.
I paired the papers with stampin up Real Red and I think the green is Wild Wasabi. I am not sure. I added glaze pen to the wax and some glitter pens to Tildas dress. I also used the stampin up ornament punch because one of the challenges was to use an ornament.
Here are the links to them:

Another Gift Box!

A coworker ordered a gift box for a christmas swap she is doing. She doesnt know who will get the gift so
told me to decide what to use for it. So I was trying to be a little neutral on the colors. I loved this designer paper and I had just made a monogramed gift box just like on Taylored Expressions. So this is what I came up with. The paper is from chatter box Nook Garden Floral called Scrapbook Walls. I have several different ones I picked up from a scrapbook store on sale. Its really thin and looks like wallpaper. I combined it with Stampin UP Pear Pizzaz cardstock and ink. The stamps are Beautiful Kindness from Verve and Summer Afternoon from Taylored Expressions. The punches is Martha Stewart. I glittered the butterfly and added some dew drops and Old Olive Stampin Up ribbon. I made the cards and matching box. The box is on top and the card on the bottom.

Some Odd Girl Challenge!

Elf Kaylee

This is Elf Kaylee. She is a digi stamp from Some Odd Girl! You can find her at their website. They are having a blog challenge today. Go take a look at Some Odd Girl! They have some really cute stamps. I believe you can get them in rubber also. Their challenge for today is to use flowered paper and have a flower on the card. I used this pretty poinsettia paper and also made my own flower with a McGill punch. I watched a tutorial on it a few weeks ago and got a punch yesterday and gave it a try. I added some yellow glitter in the center.

Fisherman Card & Blog Challenge!

Man Card
My hubby asked me at about 6pm tonight if I had a card for his friends birthday who he is having breakfast with tomorrow morning at 8am. I dont make man cards very ofter so I am scrabbling for something. Then I think digital stamps. I love digital stamps. At first I didnt like them and said no way. But how else can you go looking for a stamp without leaving home and pay only a few dollars. So I went looking and found this one. My hubbys friend takes people out fishing on the weekends for some extra cash so we thought this was perfect for him. I found this cute stamp at Stitchy Bears. They have some really cute stamps. The sentiment is from a Stampin Up set called Polar Pals. I had bought that set for another fisherman I know.  I thought the Cuttlebug embossing folder with the bubbles was approriate since fisherman are on the water. I colored him with copic markers and used my glitter pens in a few places, like his glasses, belt buckle and part of his fishing pole. Also I added a few dew drops.
So after I made this card I hopped over to the blog challenge over at Stitchy Bears and saw that their challenge this week is Old Stash New Stash. So I thought this was perfect since my digital stamp from them is new and my set from Stampin Up is really old. So go check them out!!

Poor Henry!

Poor Henry!
I needed a get well soon card for a little boy for a togo kit. So I thought of this Henry stamp from Whiff of Joy. I think he is so cute. I used him before for a missing you card for when we had to have our kitty put down. I think he could be used for lots of things other than not feeling well. I pulled some papers out of my Nana's little boy paper pack.  I have had it for at least 2 years I think. It is a DCWV. I paired it with Baja Breeze ( I am so glad that color came back in this catty) and so saffron from Stampin Up. Also used a couple of stampin up punches and some buttons from Papertrey Ink and Craft Warehouse. Colored him with Copic markers. I think he is really cute and he was quick and easy. One more card for her kit and I am done.
I bought some really cool christmas papers this year I havent used yet. I need to get crackin on more christmas cards and get our own sent out.

2nd Hello Kitty Post!

More Hello Kitty
I forgot about these little hello kitty items. I made them with my cricut. This is what I had originally intended to use for my gift cards and then changed my mind. The biggest Hello Kitty is a card. I did a blank oval with my cuttlebug in the center with white for writing. The littler one is not a card so I put scor-tape on the back so it could just be peeled off and stuck somewhere. The little snowman I did for a sign for my daughter that she was making for a co-worker and the little kitty with a bunny on its head is a card also I just did for fun.
Also on the previous post, I forgot to mention I colored the kitties with my copic markers and glitter pens. Also the litte charms are from Stamp and Create.

Cards Coming!

Sorry Everyone, I have had cards up for awhile. I have almost all of my christmas card orders done. I will finish the rest this weekend. But I also have a Hello Kitty card set I have been working on for a birthday gift. (A belated birthday gift!!), I hope to get that finished this weekend also. I have lots to finish this weekend, so I hope to have some cards posted today or tomorrow.
Have you seen the new Mini Magnolias yet? They are finally out now. I dont know how long they have been out. I found them on accident. But I have ordered two of them. I hope to get them by next weekend and have cards to post with them. I have also ordered out of the new Stampin Up Mini catalogue that comes out next month. I can wait to get the goodies from that. I love the whole line of Victorian looking (in my opinion) stamps and fabrics and papers. Yum Yum!

Glue Tip for Glitter and Things!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Even tho I am a day late.
I dont have any projects to share right now. I have recieved christmas card orders for over 100 cards. So I am busy this weekend making them and not something new!

I found a good glue for things like glitter, flower soft and sparkly fluff. I almost ran out of glue at stamp club. I really hate to run out of things when I am in the middle of stamp club. I feel like I am letting everyone down. Then I had a conversation with one of the gals. I store had just started selling flower soft and the owner told her that you can use anything it will stick to. Dont buy special glue. I have always used Art Institute Glue for glitter but it is spendy and hard to find these days. Then my flower soft glue quit sticking. So when I got home I tried good old Elmers glue. And you know what it works GREAT!!! I got it out of the tool closet in the laundry room. I just love getting things like this at home depot. Then the money I save on it I can spend on the other yummy stamping things out there. So mounting tape and elmers glue will always definately be on my list for home depot.

So I have been using my cricut lately. I am working on Hello Kitty cards for a birthday gift for a gal at work. I am really having fun with that. Then yesterday Kati said a gal at work wants her to make a sign for massage gift packages. My hello kitty cartridge has an adorable snowman and I will use some of the snowflakes I have been making.
So stayed tuned for some Hello Kitty things and cute snowmen.

Blue Christmas!

This is a quick little card that will be a stamp club project. It was very simple. I stamped the snowflake and ran it thru the cuttlebug with a nestie. Then I inked around the edges with stampin ups new Marina Mist and ran it thru my xyron upside down so the front was sticky and glittered it. I used a skinny about 1 inch embossing folder w/swiss dots along the top of the card. Added ribbon and a sentiment and was done. Its very quick, easy and I think elegant.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge!

This is my card for the current Magnolia Down Under Challenge. The challenge was to make your own emblellishments so I ran the stampin up snowflake die thru the cuttlebug with vellum and blushing bride stampin up cardstock and added the greetings on the bottom left of the card and then used the same die on the upper right with a rose thru the middle so it is a snowflake rose. On the lower right I tied a bow with a pin with a pearl thru it and a flower on top. I colored this little tilda blowing bubbles with my distressed re inkers. I really liked how she turned out. Then I added stickles to her wings and her bubbles and clear pearly smooch to her dress and skin to give it all a shimmer. I took two different pictures. One is lighter but the glare doesnt show how the distressed inks are colored and the other one is darker and shows the coloring better. I love this little tilda blowing bubbles.

Christmas Magnolia!

This card is so much prettier in real life, but I am just not good at taking the pictures. Oh Well. So I made this little christmas tilda with the amaryllis for two challenges. The first one is for  Just Magnolia Challenge. You were supposed to add beads to your card. So I glued those teeny tiny gold beads all around the edge of the image. There is also a bead on the pin. I also used the sketch challenge from Fussy and Fancy Friday. You can just click on the link to check them and their sketch out. I actually used the distressed inks for coloring this tilda that I learned at my class in Coos Bay. I think I am finally getting the hang of it. Last night I was working on the tilda blowing bubbles image. She turned out Beautiful!, even  if I do say so myself. I cant wait to turn her into a card.
The papers I used on this card I just got at the local scrapbook store on friday. The are totally not what I would normally buy but I just fell in love with them for some reason. (and a lot of others too. my poor checkbook!). These papers are from We R Memory Keepers and this is the Merry January line. There are at least 6 different ones in this line I think. Since the papers had a vintage feel to them I added the little antiquy looking angel at the top left corner. Then I put the bow on the bottom left with one of the roses and the pin. The flowers on the top are two different kinds I put together. Then I put sugar glitter all over the flowers. I dont know if it shows very well in the photo but it is very pretty.
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

I made this cute little christmas card using the sketch from the Simple Betty Sketch challenge here. It didnt say you had to use their stamps so I hope I didnt because I didnt. I used this cute stampavie bear again. I like this card using him alot better. I pulled some christmas papers out of last years stash and paired it with stampin ups Cherry Cobbler cardstock. My new favorite. I used some glitter pens on the stocking and flowers but it doesnt show up very good in the photo.

This one is Snow Much Fun. The ribbon is stampin up Marina Mist and the green dew drops are also from Taylored Expressions and the blue metallic ones are from Craft Ware house.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

I made this card for two challenges. I am really close to the deadline because one has to be entered by 9am today. As you all probably now October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I havent really known anyone with breast cancer but have lost both of my parents to cancer so I am very cancer aware. Anyway, all month on stamp and create it was create a pink card or breast cancer card. You can check them out here.
I also used the sketch challenge from our craft lounge for this card. You can find them here. It is OCLDT37.
For my card I found this free digital image. I cant remember which website. (I'm sorry about that!) and downloaded it. Since it is for breast cancer I found this pink ds paper in my stash that has panties and bras and nighties all over it and thought it went perfect since it was for BREAST cancer. The pink ribbon stamped at the lower left of the card is a stampin up stamp. It is one of the new single images you can purchase. I had the little bows I had purchased at a local stamp store stashed away. I also added some rhinestones and pearls.

Pilgrim Tilda!

I had stamped this cute little Tilda when a friend brought all her magnolias over one day. I think she makes a cute little pilgrim. I dont know what she is really called tho. I used the same paper pack as the last card. It is called Autumn Vine and is a discontined stampin up designer paper. A friend was over stamping last week and was making a card she had cased with a Mo Manning digital image with leaves all over it and that gave me the idea for this card. I called the image with my copics and a glitter pen on her dress. I used my nesties to cut her out and stamped some leaves around the edge with a leaf stamp from stampin ups Autumn Harvest and a Kaleidacolor (creole spice) ink pad.
The fence punch along the bottom is from Martha stewart and the leaf punches are a variety from Martha Stewart and Marvy. I also added some dew drops that the Mo Manning card had on it.

Eat! Fish!!!!

Edited: I found the website for this image. You can find it here!.
I found this cute little turkey on a digital website. I think it was called something like Lubyloo. I have it saved on my other computer and will put it on here later.
This digital image came colored or not and I choose both. He looks sad because he thinks he might be eaten for Thanksgiving dinner so he is asking everyone to Eat! Fish!.
I just embellished him a little with some glitter pens and added the dew drops and rhinestone flowers. I also used a stampin up sentiment from Thankful For. The ds is retired stampin up and the cardstock is more mustard and dusty durango. I added some ribbon from my stash from codwholesale. The sentiment is embossed in gold. I made 20 of these little guys today.

Another Christmas Stampavie Card!

This is another one of the Stampavie stamps I got in Coos Bay. I have one more to do and then I will have used all of the christmas stamps I got when I was there. I made the candy canes with a candy cane punch and a white signo gel pen and crystal stickles. I think these little penquins are really cute. I colored them with copic markers and then went over the scarves with glitter pens. The glitter pens really made the little scarves sparkle. I added stickles around the image to give it a little more sparkle. The senitment is a retired stampin up penquin set and punched out with the stampin up tag punches.

Digital Christmas Card!

I love the way this christmas card turned out. This is a digital stamp I ordered online. I cant give you a link right now because my hubby is defragging the main computer and I am on my laptop, bit I will try to get it to you in a day or so. I think it is Di's digis but not positive. I think it turned out adorable even if I do say so myself. I printed it and then colored it with copics. I dont have any bleeding or anything when I do the digital stamps. The sentiment and ribbon are from stampin up. The flowers I got at Michaels, they are in one of the Calypso tins. I love these flowers. I added the candy cane button and used the martha stewart icicle border punch. The border punch has glitter on it. So does the snow on the stamp and sparkly fluff from Our Craft Lounge on the snowpersons hat. I added some sugarbrads to the flowers and the bottom of the card. The paper is some more I found at Memories of Time in Coos Bay. I think its form the Bugs in A Rug company. I also used the new stampin up Cherry Coblbler cardstock.

S.W.A.L.K. !

I just love these little stamps and you get some many stamps in the set. They are a great price. The come on a sheet of rubber and you just have to cut them out. They are from SWALK and you can find them at here. So for this card I dug thru my stash of papers to find one I thought would look like bathroom wallpaper.
The sentiment is from a Penny Black set. The two punches for the sentiment are both from stampin up and I used my new nestibility that just came in the mail yesterday. I colored her with copics and was trying to use one of my glazed pens to make the bathtub shiny but it was running out so I got a different effect that I kind of like also.

Doesnt Kiki look totally comfy in this picture? He is so cute and such a little character. I just had to share this picture of him. He is getting so big and his coloring is getting to be a lot darker.
Anyway, for my card. This is another Sweet Pea stamp. I just love those big eyes. I colored her with copic markers and added some pearly white smooch ink on the mermaids top and legs. She is just sitting on a rock combing her hair. I found some embellishments to go with the sea theme.

The sentiment is from an old SU set. I made the snowflake flower wtih a stampin up die. I colored the snow people with copic markers. Added sparkly fluff from OCL on Mrs hat and chunky glitter for the snow and on the snowflakes. I also used one of my new nesties on this card.

This is my 1st christmas card this year. I made it for the blog challenge over at Taylored Expressionshttp://www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com./ She has a great blog and great online store also. If you get a chance go visit her.
So this card was made using a stamp I got at Memories of Time when I was in Coos Bay. I think these little stamps are so cute. I got 4 of the christmas stamps and love them. They are from the Stampavie Laurence Collection. There are more that I want but I should use these 1st. I know what a concept right? But I am trying to use what I have and not buy anything more for awhile. Its really hard but I am working on it.
For this little card I colored him with copic markers and pulled out some of last years christmas papers.
I found these little candy cane buttons at Joannes in Lincoln city and cut the shank off.
I hope you enjoy this little guy. Also you may not be able to tell in the photo but I put sparkly fluff from Our Craft Lounge on the little birds hat.

Sweet Pea Halloween!

This is a Sweet Pea stamp created by Samantha Rowlings. I love the big eyes on her. I have an adorable Mermaid stamp also with the big eyes.
I put this together with some Halloween paper left over from last year and some rhinestone leaves.
My hubby is out on a motorcycle ride today. I was going to go with him but then it turned out cooler than I am comfortable riding in. Tomorrow he is off to the in-laws so I have the weekend to stamp and play with the kitties.

Silly Kitty and Stamp Club Invite!

Kiki is here for the weekend again. He is so silly. He was just laying in the bathroom sink staring at me.
I love this little marvin digital image. He is so cute. I couldnt decide which designer paper I liked so I did half the cards in each one. I used Martha Stewart cobweb punches and colored the image with copic markers.

Sugar Nellie

I just love this little girl. She is so cute. She is one of the Sugar Nellie stamps. I used one of my new nesties with this card. I like the scalloped lacey like border. I have had this pansy paper for quite awhile and finally decided to use it. She looks like she is just sitting there thinking about her day or maybe a little boy she might have met.
Happy stamping!
