4th Of July Tilda!

I made this card for a special person whos birthday is July 5th. I havent ever made a patriotic card as someones birthday card before but this little Tilda is so cute, I just had to.
I used my new favorite spellbinders die, The Girls Paperie designer papers and real red and white cardstock. The flowers are from ALL That Scraps.
I have made this card to enter in the following challenges:
I used the sketch from sketch saturday
4th of July theme from Cupcake Inspiration Picture
Also for this card I tried the dot thing with the copic markers. I colored it with BG000 and then made dots with R46 and B24 and then went over it again with the BG000. It is very time consuming but it adds so much to the card. It looks like little fireworks going off. I also used a Happy Birthday from Peddlers Pack and sentiment for the inside from Stampin Up.

MoJo Monday

Boy, this card is close. I have one hour to spare from posting this card. I am entering in a new challenge. This time is Mojo Monday. I have followed their sketch for this card. I had a hard time not filling it with lots of bling but I had to make 22 of these cards so less bling was good.
Speaking of bling, I am also entering this card in Bling It On! Even tho I have less bling on this card, the challenge there was embossing. So I used my 2nd favorite embossing folder from Sizzix. I used the butterfly stamp from Peddlers Pack and Pixie Pink cardstock and some more papers from The Girls Paperie.

Strawberry Tilda!

This is my 1st circle card. This picture doesnt do it justice. But it actually isnt even a card yet. Just a front.
I used one of the adorable new Tildas from Magnolias. I have been craving fresh strawberries all week. I hope to find some today.
So I used some strawberry paper from a DCWV stack and my Lacy Labels cricut cartridge. Also added a few flowers and some rhinestones. I colored her with my copic markers on the Copic Xpress paper. Still not sure about that paper but will keep trying.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
The Sweet Stop - Sketch with a spin
Tomic (The Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge) Summer
Magnolia licious Pink

Exciting News Update!

Our daughter, Kati, has been accepted to George Fox University. We are soooo excited for her.
Very Proud also! She is sooo excited also. She has been going to Portland Community College for the last 1 1/2 years, year round. She has maxed out on classes that lead her toward her degree so now she will be on to University this summer after her summer classes are over!
Way to go KATI!!

Ready For Summer!

Edited: I was told
I could enter this card over at Ladybug Crafts Ink. Their challenge is Red. So I entered it over there.
This little gal is totally into summer. Isnt she lucky? We are still waiting for summer here.
This is a digital image from CC Designs. You can find her at All That Scraps.
I combined two different companys for the designer papers but the match really well toether.
The pink paper is from TPC studio from the Sunny Bunny Argyle collections and the flowered paper in the back is from Imaginisce Lucy Bird Twinkle Twirls. Isnt that a mouthful?
I added some flowers and colored her with copic markers. The dots on her dress are colored with clear glitter gel pen for a little sparkle.
I colored her for the challenge at Cupcake Inspirations picture below.

Also from Cupcake Craft challenges - they have a sketch this week:

I found a new challenge also at Deep Ocean Challenge  - flowers for the week.
At A Spoonful of Sugar ribbons and bows.
Papertake Weekly Here Comes the Sun
Lots of Inspiration for this card. I hope you enjoy it!

Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge!

This card looks a little washed out in this picture. Not sure why? Maybe too much green. The challenge at Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge is a Recipe, 3 papers, 2 buttons and Blue. So I used three papers from the April Showers collection from Three bugs in a Rug with this lime green bazzill. I used two blue buttons and blue ribbon for my blue.
Also I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
The stamp is Penny Black. I have been wanting one of her bears every since I took the Coloring With Distressed Inks class last year. I finally picked this stamp up a few weeks ago. Also I used a Peddlers Pack sentiment. I thought the bear looks like he is setting out in a meadow scratching his chin wondering "Wheres the Picnic?". So I used Ranger Distressed Inks and watercolor paper for this card.

Meet Brea!

I dont have any cards to post today and have been meaning to post some of these pictures. My neice was in town a few weeks ago. Kati and I went to see them. This is the new addition to her family. This is Brea Ellen. I think it is such a pretty name. She was about 4 months old. She was full of smiles. (Except for the pictures of course.). She likes to eat and eat. Then I was bouncing her on my knee and milk just kept spilling out of her mouth like a milk waterfall.

December Calender!

Here is my last calender! Yeah! Its done. I know what the phrase (Get the Monkey off Your Back) means. Some things just hang over your head until they are done. But I did enjoy doing them all.
This little gal has cute little wings. I used a paper stack from K&Co that I bought last year and then didnt get to use. I added some satin ribbon and some flowers left over also some dew drops. When you see what challenges I entered you will know why I added the silver paper and dew drops.
ABG Christmas Challenge Silver Red and Green
Winterland Wonderland Christmas Flowers
I knew there were some christmas all year long blogs out there but of course once you want them you cant find them. So I googled them and found three. I didnt find the Magnolia one I was looking for but oh well, right.

2nd Posting Today!

I finally finished my 1/2 of the calenders Alice and I have been working on. Now I have a full year of Maggies. Obviously this is my November calender. I just love this little Tilda with the Flower Pot. She is so adorable.
I have entered this project in the following challenges:
Totally Tilda Anything But a Card
Just Magnolia Paper Piecing
Stamp Something Pretty Papers
I colored this little cutie with copic markers. I have been trying out the new copic paper, Copic X-press It Blending Card is what it is called. I ordered some from All That Scraps. They have alot of cool stuff. Stamps, papers, ribbon, spellbinders, cuttlebug, MAGNOLIAS, flowers. Tons of stuff. I have purchased alot of my Magnolias there lately. They are the cheapest I have found. I also purchased the papers I used for this project there. It is a little 6x6 paper pad from Prima. It is the Melody collection. I know it is almost summer but it has some great colors for fall also.
I added some buttons and pretty flowers to this card. Also some dew drops and used Bravo Burdundy to match to the papers. I think Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade would go pretty with these papers and maybe Pretty In Pink or Pink Pirouette.

Baby Boy Card!

Do any of you every have hubbies that do things with your stuff and dont tell you? Did you notice how my last entry picture was yellow? Well, my hubby changed out the lights in the room we are getting ready for Kati to move into. He swapped the lights out of my lamps on table and didnt tell me. So I took a picture of this card and it was yellowish too. What the heck?? Then I realized I bet he swapped out my lights. So I asked him and he said yes, I didnt think you liked those lights. Duh, I have only had them in my lamps for a year!!!
Anyway, my hubby asked for a card for a new little baby boy for a co-worker. This is what I made.
The sketch is from Clean & Simple.  I picked the colors from cr84fncolorchallenge aqua, green and yellow.
Papertake Weekly is dads and lads. This card is obviously for a little lad. Creative Inspirations blue, green and one other color. Also Cupcake Craft Challenge boys.
So for the card, I used a piece of bazzill cs for the blue, aqua color. Daffodil Delight for the yellow and Lucky Limeade for the green. My stamps are all stampin ups Bundle of Joy and Welcome Little One sets. I added some Kiwi kiss ribbon (only have about 6 inches left) and some dew drops. I also embossed the yellow with a sizzix embossing folder. It is my 2nd favorite embossing folder.

This is a digital stamp that I purchased at Kenny K's. They have some fun stuff there.
Probably not something for everyone. But I like them.
I made this for the sketch saturday sketch.
Little Red Wagon- For a Dad
I colored it with copic markers and some glitter gel pens and glaze pens.
The papers are from the Latte stack from DVWV.

Fussy & Fancy Friday Challenge!

This week is my last week for Fussy and Fancy Friday Design Team. I have decided to step down because I am so busy with Peddlers Pack and stamp club. Its really time consuming to try to keep up with comments on all the entries.
This week we can do whatever we want and the challenge for the entries is to CASE one of our cards.
This is an adorable new little Magnolia I just recieved. She has her little shovel so I printed out the sentiment Whats the dirt??. I thought it was kind of cute. Maybe dorky but hey who cares right?
I did this card for a few challenges but as always we have to do the cards ahead so lets see what it still qualifys for:
Magnolia Stamp Lovers Anything goes!
Do late for Just Magnolia flowers galore.
Oh well!
I used some pretty flowery paper that I found at Craft Warehouse when we went to the beach. Also I combined some fun flowers and some new ribbon.

Wee Stamps!

This is another card we did at the beach. I think this little girl is Adorable. We totally cased this from someone and again I wish I could give credit to them but I cant.
This is a digital stamp from Wee Stamps. They have some of the most adorable stamps ever. She is getting more and more in for every occasion and holiday. I think she is either thinking of going to rubber or already has. Her images are Fantastic.
All other papers and stamps are stampin up. The ribbon is from Peddlers Pack and we used a Martha Stewart punch. She is colored with copic markers, cut out with spellbinders and added a little glitter.
If you are traveling Digital stamps are the way to go. The take up alot less space. But you still need all those sentiments.

Then added a little bit of stickles. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. The papers are from American Crafts. I used oval and scalloped ovals from spellbinders. The pearls are stampin up that I colored with copic markers to match.

Happy 4th of July Bear!

This adorable little bear is from Peddlers pack. The flag he is holding is from them also
I colored him with copic markers and the flag with glitter gel pens. I made two cards. The other one I colored his whole outfit with the glitter gel pens and it turned out the best but the pens dont always look as good in a photo so I went with this picture.
The Spellbinders die I used is Fleur De Lis Rectangles. The designer papers are from We R Memory Keepers Yankee Doodle line. I used 4 different designs with real red, brilliant blue and white cardstock. Then of course I had to add some dew drops.

CC Designs Cupcake Brigitta!

This is my 1st stamp from CC Designs. You can find them at All That Scraps. They have all kinds of stuff there. Tons of stamps, ribbons, flowers, papers. Lots of Magnolias. They also have lots of digi stamps. I think this stamp is even a digi stamp now. I dont think it was until right after I bought this of course.
I made this card for a few challenges:
CR84FN- picture inspiration, lt pink, medium green, neutral
This card seems a little more simple than normal but I just love the paper and didnt want to cover it up. The sketch is pretty simple but I had to add some flowers. The papers are more from The Girls Paperie line. I just love this line. Roses, pinks, yellows, gingham. All my favorites so whats not to love right?
Here is the sketch from Crop Stop that I followed for this challenge:

Thanks for coming by and looking!
Did you see my flowers falling from the sky? I have been wanting to do that for a long time and found out how by accident yesterday!!!!

This is another card from the beach. Again I CASED it from somewhere so long ago that I dont remember from where. If its you please let me know and I will post your info. This is a Mo Manning digital image. She is so cut. Alice had this adorable strawberry ribbon and we used a Papertrey ink set for the strawberry and the sentiment is from Verve. It is such a little set from Verve but I love the set. It is perfect for circles. It has I think 6 sentiments. I colored her with copic markers and made the flowers with punches.

2nd Post today!

I almost forgot to post this card. I made it for this weeks challenge over at sketch saturday. I love how there are all these challenges out there for sketches. I dont know what I would do without them. I would probably just use the same design over and over. How boring, right???
So this beautiful image is digital. It was already colored and everything. How cool is that? I wanted something quick for stamp club invites because once again they are going out a little late. Also I found this image and my mother in law loves hummingbirds. So I am making a batch for her also. So I am using 24 of these little guys. The pansy paper is another one I purchased at Craft Warehouse. I love pansys so I grabbed a punch. I used Pear Pizzaz and Rose Red stampin up cardstock. Added some glitter, dew drops and ribbon. The ribbon is discontinued stampin up called Burgundy, I just checked on the paper and it is K&CO SW Spring Blossoms Pansies.
The digital image is from Fred She Said. She has some GREAT stuff and you can click on her image on my sidebar to go check her out.

Fussy and Fancy Friday!

A co-worker asked me to make a fathers day card for her. She said she wanted it to have something to do with fishing and she has two little girls. I found several digi stamps. Some had a father and some, some had a father and a daughter. But then I found this one with a father fishing with two kids so I thought it was perfect.
I used some Graphic 45 papers from the A Proper Gentlemen Collection. The two different papers are from one piece front and back. I used the sketch from sketch Wednesday. This is my card for Fussy and Fancy friday this week. It is supposed to be a boy/man card. The stamp I used is a digi stamp you can find at Digi Dis Downloads. Also over at digital tuesdays challenge this week is animals so this digi card fits right in over there.
Also over at Fussy and Fancy Friday they are looking for a new person or people. Not sure how many to be on their design team. I am not going to be on it anymore after the end of this month. I am so busy with stamp club and designing for Peddlers Pack, I just dont have time anymore. So if you are interested just join their challenge this week and put DT behind your name to show you are interested.

Another Magnolia Card!

My Card
You know there are some many great card samples out there. Since I have started my blog I have been mostly creating my own designs using the challenges that are out there. There are so many to choose from. Sometimes you just have to case someone elses card because you cant help yourself. That is the case with this card. Unfortunately, I dont know who I cased it from but here is the original:
Cased card!
I changed the Tilda, papers and sentiment. So it is different somewhat but if you recognize this card, I love it and thank you for doing such a great job. I wish I could have used the same papers but couldnt find them. I think they were discontinued from last year.
l used the new papers I love from The Girls Paperie. They are alot like the ones that were out last year about this time.
Also the sentiment is from Verve.

Another Beach Card w/a Magnolia!

I really like how this card turned out. We had stopped at Craft Warehouse on the way to the beach to see how their sale was going. I found this pretty paper and then got the green and blue bazzill to go with it. We were trying out the cricut Lacy Labels cartridge to see how it would make white doilies and then I was showing Alice how the layering worked so I just used the three colors of cardstock I had purchased at Craft Warehouse. We loved the way it looke and decided to use it. Since I bought it to match this paper it out turned out really pretty. I think it was both of our favorite cards for the weekend.
For the Challenge at ABC this week is V for variety. You have to have three different kinds of embellishments. I have flowers. dew drops and ribbon.
I think that is the only challenge I really qualify for this week.
