Fun Gift Tags!

I waited for along time to get this set. I wasn't actually going to get it. But then my daughter was wrapping some presents in penguin papers so I decided I would get it and make some gift tags.
This is one of the gift tags. There are more to come.
I used the Snow Place and Snow Friends stamps and dies. Which come as a bundle so that makes it really nice.
I think he is just so cute and so is the snowman. I still need to play with the baby snowman on some tags.
Also its really nice to know that this bundle will be carried forward into the new occasions catty.

If you are a regular customer you will be getting the Occasions and the new Sale A Bration catties in the mail really soon.
If you are not a regular customer and would like to be one please let me know and I can get them out to you! I even have a spare. So just send me an email and you can get one before my regular customers do!!!

Christmas Gift Card (And a Christmas Tree)!

This card is a gift card holder. I am making them for my hubbys business. I am just hoping that the recipients will see the gift card and not miss it. I might just write a little note for them on the inside of the card to tell them not to miss the gift card on the front.
I have used all Stampin Up products for this card (except the gift card)! But the idea was taken from Gina K designs Stamp Tv video from the last couple of weeks. It just shows that just because you see a sample you like it doesn't have to be made with the exact same products. Substations and making it your own are great!!

Something that is also great is the christmas tree in my stamp room. I had to move things around a little but I love it in here. I can enjoy it much more than the living room. Plus we really don't have room for the tree in there. Thats why I was lucky enough to get it!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
This is a little card I did for my hubbys work. Inside it held a gift card for a free turkey for the guys he works with.
I love the fall colors of this card.
I hope everyone has a great day with their families!

Reindeer Gifts!

I saw this cute little reindeer and couldn't resist making it. I think he is so cute!!! He is made using the owl builders punch, a circle punch and the chalk talk tag dies.
I put some googly eyes on him to make them pop out more and his nose is made with the red glimmer paper.
I put a bottle of glitter glue, tomboy glue and a couple of candies and candy canes in each gift and put them in a french fry box.

Peaceful Pines Gift Bag!

I am so excited that the Peaceful Pines stamp set and dies are returning in the next Occasions Catalogue. I love this set. Although there isn't a guarantee it will carry over into the new catty next year but thats another year to worry about.
The last demonstrator meeting I went to, the challenge was to make something that you would use as packaging for a gift. So I came up with this gift bag.
It is made the same as one of the cards I made. I love the technique for the way this tree is done. It is embossed with white embossing powder on Crumb Cake cardstock. Then you use a water paint brush with Tempting Turquoise ink and do a wash over it and then die cut it out. The tempting turquoise over the crumb cake looks a lot like lost lagoon. So that is the matching ink I used with it!

Christmas Candy Class!

This is a class tomorrow night at my house. It is like the old fashioned lifesaver boxes.
I know I have posted a different one like this using different stamps already.
This one is using the Peaceful Pines Bundle. I just love this bundle and am so glad it is carrying over to the new catalogue.
Did you see the retired list today? If you haven't seen it let me know and I will email it to you.

Peaceful Pines! (And Great News!)

I havent posted in a little bit because I am still having problems with my new computer. But I just love it so I havent fired up this old one. I still have my bills on this one and had to pay some so I decided to post my photos using this.
I just love the Peaceful Pines Bundle. I have been using it alot lately. I think I will ended up with three workshops with it before christmas.
And it is one of the weekly deals this week. Not the bundle but the stamp set. It is a great set!!
I love the vintagey feel to this card. I also finally used this ribbon, I have had it for quite awhile and never knew what to do with it. So I think I will make up a bunch of these for my christmas cards and use up some of this great ribbon.
You can see all of the products I used for this project below!
Now for my great news! Well, its not my news! But for the first time stampin up is going to have a retired list for the Occasions catalogue. They have never done this before. So this is really exciting!
It will be coming out tomorrow!
So stayed tuned for that!

Shake Your Booty Reindeer!

These two cards are for my next class at Main St Stamp and Stationary in Tigard.
The reindeer is from Art Impressions Shake Your Booty collection. When you flick the reindeers rump it jiggles and makes the bell ring. Its very funny!
The trees are from Elizabeth craft designs and the papers are from Bobunny.
I hope this class does well.
I am having it the 24th of this month.
The top card also uses the same paper collection. I made it using some scraps and also dies from Elizabeth Craft designs.

Art Impressions Santa Card!

I wanted to make a card with this santa that was not a spinner card. So this is what I came up with.
I used the sketch from Retro Sketches Challenge! (Yeah, I learned how to copy and paste on this computer!).
I used BoBunny Dear Santa Festive designer papers layered with red cardstock on a white card base.
I added some ribbon across the card with a bow on the side and some rhinestones. Also the santa suite and his beard have Clear Wink of Stella on top and his fur has glitter on it.
This is one happy santa!!
