New Style of Card Box!

I decided to do something different with a card box instead of initials. I used the Taylored Espressions set New Beginings (Ithink) its called and some Vintage Springtime paper from SU's mini catty last spring. I added some of my new flowers too. I really like how it turned out. Very soft and vintagey.
Our thanksgiving dinner yesterday turned out nice also.

Blue Box!

I know, I know, another card box. Sorry!
I like this blue glitter paper. Very pretty and you cant tell but the black is embossed with black stripes.
This bright blue ribbon matches great also. Dont you just love when the things you have match your project and you dont have to go out and buy more??
Maybe one of these days I will have time to make more new cards.

Red Christmas!

This is another simple christmas card. I cant remember the name of the set. The greetting set is retired. The ribbon is retired also I believe. I stamped the tree in real red and put some sparkles on some of the stars in the tree. Cardstock is real red and confetti white I think or one of the whites with speckles. I am not much help with the supplies this morning and am off to work. No time to look them up.
I am hoping for snow today and get off early but I know thats all in my dreams.

Here is another card for the troops. It is another easy card. It is using Sahara and cherry cobbler I think. The side piece is embossed with a snowflake embossing folder. The stamp set is Christmas Lodge again with Sahara Sand and Cherry Cobbler Ink and then some stickles on the house.

This is another card for the troops. I think the stampin up set I used is Scandanvian Season or something like that. The greeting is Denami I believe. I embossed the tree and in silver and added a rhinestone. The tree is layered in shiny silver and then with brocade blue. I like how simple and easy it is but very elegant.

I cased this card out of the holiday mini stampin up catty. They made theirs with the digital set but I used Christmas Lodge for mine. I stamped it with Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wasabi. Then used the Holly Berry papers. I love those papers. I added a little rhinestone for a little bit of sparkle.
Speaking of mini cattys from stampin up. I recieved my occasions catty in the mail yesterday. It comes out in January. It has some fun stuff in there. I cant wait!!!

Taylored Expressions!

These little guys are from Taylored Expressions. I think they are so cute. They are stamped and then colored with copic markers. I used stampin up punches for the circles, martha stewart icicles punch and spellbinders for the image. The papers are more from the same ds paper packet I used on most of the cards. This is another card done for the troops.
I layered it with cranberry crisp. I was trying to use up some retired stampin up card stock.
The snow and the white brim on santas hat have some glitter added.

Gold Christmas!

This is another card for Peddlers Pack. I embossed the tree in Gold. I had some gold powder with just a little bit of sparkle in it. Then I added a gold dew drop to the top. I used my oval spellbinders and layered it with gold stardreams papers with my scalloped oval spellbinders. This beautiful gold ribbon my daughter picked up for me over at the coast one weekend. It is so pretty! The white is embossed with swiss dots embossing folder and layered with the gold also.

Oregon Gardens!

Tomorrow is hubbys birthday but since we are busy we went out today instead. We went to the Oregon Gardens in Silverton. It was really foggy on the way there. The weather was about 45 degrees. But when we got there the sun had lifted there and it was beautiful. Very fallish. We had a good time and are looking forward to going next summer when the weather is better.
Here are some pictures:

The top picture is in the childrens garden. I love this little family made out of clay pots.
Next is some flowers on a tree. This is one of my favorite color combos, a teal and pink. I have never seen them together in real live before. These were flowers on a tree.
Only a few of their water features were going but there were some beautiful waterfalls.
The colors on the tree were fabulous.
The picture is of a plant called Beauty Berries. I have never seen purple berries on a plant like that before. They were really pretty.
So even tho it is November, there is still some beautiful color to be seen. The sun was warm on us just a little. When it is warmer weather I look forward to going on some of the trails that were in the shade today and too cold.
If you get a chance to get to Silverton, check out the Oregon Gardens. They even have a great place to stay there.

Silver Christmas!

This is a Peddlers Pack christmas tree. Its stamped and embossed with silver embossing powder with just a little bit of sparkle in it. The cardstock is the silver from stampin up and embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder. Added some ribbon and little rhinestones to the tree and a flower star on top.

Christmas Lodge!

I usd the Christmas Lodge set on this card from stampin up. I was trying to use up some discontinued cardstock on the card for the troops and think the green is True Thyme. It is layered with real read and always artichoke. I stamped the tree in Always Artichoke and the greeting in real red. Then tied the ribbon around the tree. The embossing folder is from stamping also and the greeting is Peddlers Pack.

Vintage Christmas!

This card is another Peddlers Pack card. The stamps are all from Peddlers Pack and I think it turned out very vintagey looking. I stamped the image and colored it with copic markers and added some glitter. I love the designer papers on this. They are from Best Creations. They have the best papers. Always with some glitter and/or embossing on them. I added some cream lace and a poinsettia.
I used the sketch fromSweet Sketch Wednesday.

2nd Posting Today and A Few Challenges!

I made this adorable card for Peddlers Pack. The snowman is one of their stamps. The designer paper is from Best Creations and is called Winter Wonderland. I just love it. I went back to buy more and it was gone. I must not have been the only one that loved it.
I stamped Little Frosty with Soot Black distressed ink and colored him with copic markers. He is cut out with one of the larger Spellbinder ovals. The die behind him I had to cut a little strip out of the center so it would fit on the card. I have two samples of this card because I just love how the blue ribbon goes with it but I couldnt use that ribbon for my sample card so I swapped it out for the white and silver. Also on that card I used two of the swirly dies. One in each corner. It is a memory box die I just picked up and I love it!!! I had started the card before I went to Peddlers Pack but felt it still needed something. Then I found this die and got home and it fit the card perfectly. On the card with two of these I didnt use the dew drops the same. After I colored and die cut the image I added lots of glitter.
I hope you like this card as much as I do. My daughter even wants me to make some for her.
I am actually getting to enter it in a few challenges. Its been along time since I have been able to do that.
Here are the challenges I am entering:
Crafty Catz Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations Lashings of Sparkles ( I think that means lots)
Papertake Weekly Anything Goes
Winter Wonderland Add Sparkle

Peddlers Pack Christmas Tree!

I stamped this Peddlers Pack christmas tree in green and then colored the ornaments with stampin up markers. Then added stickles over the top. The ds paper is from the 6x6 stack I used on almost all the cards for the troops. The sentiment is from a stampin up set and punched out with stampin ups oval punches. Then I added a poinsettia to the upper corner that was also donated for the cards.

Another Card for the Troops!

I think this card turned out very elegant looking. I used the Christmas Lodge set from the new mini and the stampin up folder and die. The lodge is embossed in gold and the greeting is stamped in Cherry Cobbler and then added some matching misc ribbon. I used foam tape on the top layer.

Samples for the Troops

Heres a card I used two different papers for. I used the Big on Christmas stampin up set. Colored it with copic markers and glitter gel pens. I added a snowflake and some ribbon. The papers came in a 6 x 6 pad that Marlene donated. These papers were used on all except one card that had ds papers on it. I cut a punch of the papers into 51/4 x 4 and then had 2" scraps left over and made a bunch of these cards. I love these two papers with the snow flakes and candy cane stripes.
