Black & Teal!

This is the last card box. There was one more but I forgot to take its picture. It was a special one that had a strawberry on the monograms for someone that loves strawberries and was black and red. This one has stipes and dots. I love them both.

Another Card Box!

I found this pretty purple paper the other day. Of course there was only one sheet of the flowered paper. But it is really pretty with the stripes. They are from SEI so I am going to be on the lookout for more of this paper.
I love the colors and it even has my initial on it. Too bad I am not keeping it for myself.

New Card Boxes!

I received an order from my boss for 4 card boxes. This one is my favorite. I found this great red paper and the black paper has velvet on it. I  think it turned out great.
This weekend was very busy. My saturday to work plus my hubbys family over for dinner.
I made Chicken Cordon Blue, scalloped potatoes, broccoli and salad. Plus I made chocolate pie. If any of you have seen the movie The Help, my cake was Minnies chocolate pie recipe. I hadnt seen the movie when I found the recipe and was just going by the picture on the recipe. Then when I was reading the recipe for my grocery list I read about it. I had just seen the movie the night before. Of course I left out the secret ingredient from the movie.
Next weekend is card making at the beach. Alice and I are leaving thursday evening and coming home on sunday so I will have lots of new cards to show. So for this week you will just get to see card boxes because I have been just tooo busy this month for many cards.

Sledding Away!

This is a cute little digital stamp from Wee stamps. He is just so cute. I printed him out and colored him with copic markers. Then I ran him thru the cuttlebug with a rectangle nestibility. Then I ran Wild Wasabi and Cherry Cobbler thru with the scalloped rectangles to layer him up. The ds papers are from the new Stampin Up Mini Catty. I love the flowers on the papers and two of the papers are glittered. The striped paper on this card is one of the glittered papers. The papers are from the Holly Berry Bouquet pack. The ribbon is also SU. It is Cherry Cobbler seam binding. I added the roses and used one of the ribbon banner dies from Spellbinders, sponged a little cherry cobbler on it and stamped the sentiment.
I made this card for the sketch challenge at CLP Sketch Challenge #40.

Slow and Steady

Isnt this little guy adorable? I just love him. I picked him up on my visit a couple of weeks ago to Coos Bay to Memories Of Time. If you get to Coos Bay soon everything is 40% off. Cant beat that. Anyway, this set is from Our Craft Lounge. It is called Slow and Steady. I have had the turtle paper for about two years. I had bought it when I got a turtle stamp from Stamping Bella I have never used yet. I like how it goes with this turtle. I paired it with Green Galore discountined cardstock. I have about 1 1/2 packages of it and thought I would use it up. The turtle paper is from Three Bugs in A Rug, the Snips and Snails line.
I colored him with copic markers and then stamped the sentiment on top. He would make a cute boy card too.
