Hey Chick and Birthday Chick!

 

About 4 years ago there was a stamp set called Hey Chick. In the new Spring Mini catalog there is a set called Birthday chick, recently Stampin Up brought back the Hey Chick stamp set and there are also dies for both of these stamp sets.

Here are some samples I have made using these two stamp and die sets. These are some fun products to work with. I discovered that the All Wired Up background stamp would be perfect for these stamps and dies so I have just purchased it and will be making some more samples using these great products.

More Butterfly Bouquet!

 Here are some more Butterfly cards from the Butterfly Bouquet collection that will be available to customers from Stampin Up on March 2nd!

I was going to make more but then with the ice storm we ended up with 4 house guests for 3 days and so my crafting turned into cooking, cleaning and lots of laundry.

One of these pretty projects will be used at my Annual Spring Mini Catalog event on March 13th.

More Butterfly Bouquet Projects!

I am really loving this Butterfly Bouquet Collection. I have added some other dies and papers for these projects. I wanted a purple card and since there isnt any purple in the papers I colored the butterflys myself and then brought in some papers and ribbon from the Hydrangea Hill suite.

The Hydrangea Hill suite is another awesome collection.

Butterfly Bouquet Collection

 Theres a new collection coming out. Its called the Butterfly Bouquet Collection. It is really gorgeous. Its also a sneek peak from the new Annual Catalog. 

There is a large butterfly background stamp, a set of dies, a beautiful set of designer series papers and some specialty paper with a wood grain look which I have used in the yellow card.

This collection is available from March 2nd thru May 3rd. Then just the dies and stamp will be in the Annual catalog but not the papers.

The background stamp has a large die to match to cut out all of these great butterflies. Also one of the designer papers has one print with butterflies all over it and their is a large die that cuts them all out. So you get 6 butterflies cut all at once.

Since the butterflies are cut from designer papers I like to cut them out in basic white or a matching cardstock and give them some extra backing to make them thicker.

I made the fun little boxes at the top. They could hold some Ghiradelli  chocolates or some hershey kisses or lots more. I have attached a magnet to the top of the box and the butterfly so for a fun closure.

More Hydrangea Hill Suite!

Here are a few more Hydrangea Hill projects. The top item is called a Bendi card and I cased this from Nola Creations also. The little box is from Stamping With Amore. It holds two hershey nuggets.

I love having little items like this on hand. If you have a little something you want to give to someone then you are ready. When I have friends come over to stamp its fun to give them something little like this for fun. You just have it sitting waiting for them at their seats. But you have to wait until the last minute to put it out otherwise the little bad kitties may come snooping around and chew on your ribbons or something just for fun!

Hydrangea Hill Suite

 Here is a fun card I made using the Hydrangea Hill Suite. I cased this card from Nola Creations. she does some fun and beautiful projects.

The focal point of this card slides on and off. It is something new for me and very fun also.

I love the Hydrangea Hill papers. They are so gorgeous. As you probably know Hydrangeas come in many colors. I am working on a pink one now.

Flowering Cactus Product Medley!

All of these projects were made using the Flowering Cactus Product Medley out of the Spring Mini Catalog.

I just love the papers in this medley. I think the color combo is just lovely! This medley comes with stamps, dies, 48 sheets of 6 x 6 papers, two colors of twine and some felt flowers.

If you run out of all the products with this medley you can order a refill kit that comes with all of the consumable products with this medley. There is one pattern with the papers that you can die cut all of the images out of it if you would like.

The cute little bag at the top has some dark chocolate kisses in it. I choose these because the wrappings are dark purple and so they totally match the color scheme.

Kangaroo and Co.

I think this little set is so adorable! It is called Kangaroo & Co. It has the lowers, some hearts and a cute little baby roo that can fit in her little pouch. It also has another baby roo that it by itself. This set comes in a bundle with dies. I think it would be perfect for so many things. Valentines, birthday, baby, hello and many other subjects. It is so easy to color and die cut.

There are so many great products in the new Spring Mini and Sale A Bration catalogs. I am in love with everything!

Friendly Flamingo!

 Here is a fun flamingo card I made using the new Stampin Up Friendly Flamingo stamp set. I love the color combo pink, black and white. I used Magenta Madness for this card. This is a one of the new In Colors. I love pink but this color by itself is a little bright even for me. But paired with the black and white I think it calms it down quite a bit. 

I have also used dies from the new Pierced Bloom dies for the flowers. Its hard to tell in the catalog that all of the dies are pierced. I just the piercing. I think it adds so much to the images.  

The black and white designer series paper is from the True Love paper pack out of the Love You Always suite. These papers are really fun. They have great black and white prints but also you can color the flowers on them just for some color or fussy cut them out for layering.

Easy Peasy Shaker Cards!

 Here are some fun shaker cards I have been making. I cant remember if I shared the Ice Cream and Whale Cards I made in December. But these are ones I made this weekend.

I have used all new products out of the Spring Mini Catalog. We will be making one of these cards at my class in April.

Yes my classes are coming back. I have heard rumors that things will be re opening in the beginning of March so I am hoping this is correct. I am still putting a 10 person limit on them for now. Depending on how things go by then we will see.

Domed Treasure Chest!

 I cased this cute little treasure chest from Pootles otherwise known as Sam Hammond. She has awesome Youtube videos showing all kinds of fun projects. If I ever need a gift box or bag she is one of my mine go to people to look for.

I have used the gorgeous new Hydrangea papers that are coming out in the Spring Mini Catalog from Stampin Up that goes live on January 5th.

As a demonstrator I was able to pre order these products a month early! It was an awesome birthday present to myself since it is my birthday month.

You might notice the cute little elephant in the photos. He is a gift for someone and I wanted a cute little box to put him in and this video popped up on my Pinterest page. He fits with room to spare. I even could put some chocolates in there if I wanted to!

There are two different prints on these two boxes and they are both from the Hydrangea  papers. The official name for the papers is Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Papers. There is a whole suite to go with it. Stamps, dies, pastel pearls (they are gorgeous!) ribbons and some gorgeous Mercury glass acetate in two colors.

Easy Peasy Shaker Cards!

 Here are some fun shaker cards I made. The Ice Cream card is totally cased from Rosemary Gonzalez. I'm not sure where she is from but she is a Stampin Up demonstrator and she did the Ice Cream card for our Onstage Presentation this year. 

It is made with new products out of the upcoming Spring Mini catalog. I just love this suite. It will be available to everyone on January 5th.

The other two cards are made with the Whale of a Time suite. I have been meaning to use these products for awhile now and havent gotten around to it. There are more projects I want to make with this suite. I just love the sequins, they have some pretty shell shapes in them.

This is the easiest shaker card I have ever made. I am hoping to do a class on it if the Covid pandemic every lets us get on with our lives!!

Buffalo Check Moose Card!

 

Last year I didnt want the moose set. It was carried over into this year and they had a cute banner in the holiday mini catalog I loved so I had to get it!

I love the buffalo check background stamp. Especially on the red cardstock. My dad used to wear flannel shirts all winter so I have a real soft spot for them.

So I have used a few bundles for this card, the Merry Moose Bundle, it comes with a stamp set and punch, also from the Annual catalog so its not really a bundle but its the Peaceful Boughs stamp set and dies to match.

The very vanilla tag down the middle is embossed with the Evergreen Forest Embossing folder for some added Texture.

So this whole card was inspired from the Banner in the holiday catalog.

Wishes and Wonder Bundle!

 

I wasnt planning on ordering this set. But then I saw one little tag on Pinterest and decided I had to have it. So you can see the tag a bit on the card. I made the tag and then did the whole card around it.

I love the colors on this card. I also had recently learned how to make a triple bow but it was hard doing it around my fingers so I finally bought a Bow Loom. There is one thing about how to tie it off that I dont like so on Saturday I have a couple of  people coming over for a Christmas tea who have been using a bow making for years and am going to ask for some help with it. But for this card I went ahead and finished it up using the string.

Santa Bags!

 Here are the cutest little Santa Treat bags! They are made with the All Dressed Up dies. I just love them. I filled them with some little candy wrapped chocolate kisses and some dark chocolate peppermint bark dove candies.
