More Nothings Better Than Projects

Here's a couple of cards I made at the beach last weekend. Three of us rented a house for 4 days and got lots of crafting done.

I paired the Stampin Up Nothing Better Than bundle with some Sparkleberry Ink papers from Michaels I got on sale awhile back. So I got to combine some pretty papers, one with flamingos. I love how the colors go together.

We tried to take alot less supplies with us this time because we fit one more person and her supplies in the car. So I only took a black ink pad. Luckily I had some copic markers and so I was able to color my images with those.

On the second card for the words Cocktail I colored my cardstock with the blends and really like how it turned out.

If you would like to purchase this Nothing Better Than bundle you can find it at my online store here

If ordering online please use host code TAP2Y9JW for any orders under $150. Orders over $150 will get host rewards.

Gerda Steiner Designs

Here is a little Kitty card I made for Katis birthday. It was last week but she always jokes about her birthday month, so I havent actually given it to her yet.

I found this new company called Gerda Steiner Designs. They have some very cute critters.

I hope Kati likes this card as much as I do!

Honey Bee Stamps

I found anew stamp company I just love. They are called Honey Bee Stamps. They have great products (and lots of them) and great service. I order late afternoon one day and I recieve it the next day.

Sorry the last picture is not better. My computer has changed my photos to jpegs and not actual photos so I have been having a hard time with it and didnt want to take and load a new one. Plus I gave this card to my daughter and son in law and cant take another picture because I dont have the card.

I saw the birdhouse card on a newsletter I recieved from Honey Bee stamps and loved it. There was an added bonus with this set, it has flamingos too. So I made the flamingo card also.

I was crafting with my sister and a good friend at the beach last weekend and we were joking about the birdhouse card being a $200 card because thats how much I spent on my order with honey bee stamps to make this card. But then I made three other cards so now they are just $50 cards.

Do you ever spend that much to make one card???

Fall Sampler!

Here is my Fall Sampler for my class coming up on August 15th. I wanted it to be really colorful and cheery for fall. I was going to use the new fall designer series papers but they really werent the colors I was looking for. This was the prototype. On the second sample I made I used Cream Cardstock where the white is and I moved the little pumpkin on the fence to the lower right corner.
Instead of using designer series papers I stamped the top layer of the base with leaves from the Beautiful Autumn set and for the rest of the stamped images I used the Autumn Goodness stamp set and die cut the images.

You can see a basic supply list of the items I used below. If you are interested in purchasing these items you can click on one of the items below and it will take you to my online store. Please use host code TAP2Y9JW for any orders under $150. For orders $150 and above you will get your own host rewards.

Pop Up Cube Card

This is a pop up cube card I found on You Tube. There are a bunch of them out there. Most of them on have two cubes on the bottom but this one has 4. The card also folds up flat to fit in an envelope. This card is 5 x 7 I believe when its folder flat. Of course depending on how much you put on the card will determine how flat it actually is. For the dimensions for this 4 cubed card I followed instructions from Mixed Up Crafts . She has some awesome products and tutorials but I also watched quite a few other videos on this and everyone referred to casing someone else's project.

This card is for a special friends birthday and I am giving it to her in person, so I dont have an envelope and am not good at making them so I am just tucking it into her gift bag.
You could do so many things with this card. I think it would make a great center piece for your table. You could even fit a skinny vase with flowers into the center. It could be for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, the possibilites are endless.
I am planning on making a halloween one for my class next month. It is really easy to make it just is time consuming because there are lots of pieces. You can cover as many, or as few surfaces as you want. I put a white panel on the back side and wrote on it.

You can see a list of supplies I used listed below. If you would like to purchase any of the great Stampin Up Supplies you can click on any of the items to be taken directly to my online store. If ordering online please use host code TAP2Y9JW for any orders under $150. For orders $150 or over dont use the host code you will get your own rewards.

Today is the last day to recieve Bonus Days coupons. For every $50 you spend in July you will recieve a $5 coupon to spend in August. These coupons are emailed directly to you so its important to keep them until you are ready to spend them.

Celebrate Sunflowers!

This is such a fun bundle. It is the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and Sunflowers dies. On the first two cards I used new papers from the Mini Holiday Catalog that goes live August 4th. I knew when I saw the colors it would go perfect for a sunflower late summer card.
I have also used some new gems on the pink sunflower card
I think the pink and white card has a totally different look than the brighter cards.
I have lots of the new Holiday Mini catalogs available so if you would like me to get one to you let me know. I also have lots of the new annual catalogs too.

This set is a little different than most of Stampin Ups dies. There is a set of 5 dies to make a 3-D Peony. It gives it a real life effect.

Tea Luncheon Catalog Premier Event!

Here are two of the projects we made at the Tea Luncheon Catalog Premier event last week. I just love the goat set. It is so much fun. I made these adorable little treat bags for everyone and made the one card with this set.

The big bag I made using one of Sam Hammonds (Pootles) tutorials. I had made alot of these bags for my March event that got canceled due to CoVid. So I went ahead and used them and then made some more with newer papers.
The little treat bag has a bottle of Tombow glue, some gems and some candy. They turned out cute but I see part of my picture is a little blurry.

For the goats I colored them both with watercolor pencils and a Wink Of Stella glitter pen. I love using Wink of Stella with watercolor pencils. It blends the colors together so nicely and gives it a nice shimmer also.

Blossoms In Bloom One Sheet Wonder!

I found this idea from Nola Creations. She has some great projects. This card was made using the one sheet wonder technique. It was fun to make. You take an 81/2 by 11 sheet of cardstock and stamp all over it and then cut it up. For this project the sheet is just cut into 4  3-3/4 by 5 inch sheets.
The ribbon on the bottom card was stamped with one of the smaller leaves. That is the fun thing with ribbon, you can stamp it, dye it with reinkers in water or alcohol, color it with markers, there all kinds of fun things to do with ribbon.
I have used the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set for the flowers with Rococo Rose and Crushed Curry ink. Then for the leaves I haves stamped several of the leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set in Old Olive, Pear Pizzaz and Soft Seafoam inks. (I think it was Old Olive!).
I have a list of supplies for these project listed below. If you would like to order any of these products you can click on them and it will take you to my online store. There is even a buy it all button.
If ordering online please use host code US7FMJE7 for any orders upto $149. For orders $150 and over don't use the host code as you will get host rewards!
If you need a demonstrator or a catalog please just leave me a message and I would love to be your demonstrator or send you a catalog.

Nothing's Better Than Bundle!

I hadnt realized it was so long since my last post. But I had my Annual Catalog Tea Luncheon Premier party in the last couple of weeks. It kept on going. I limited it to 10 people and ended up with 18. So I had people on 3 different days, one of the days I had a daytime and evening event. I am not sure if I ever want to have a tea luncheon for myself again!!! So it took up my whole week last week and the whole 2 weeks before it getting ready.

Today I am featuring the Nothing Better Than Bundle. This is a fun bundle. It has a die cut and words for Chocolate, Cookies and Cocktails. You can do lots of fun stuff with this bundle. (Sorry my last picture is a little wonky!

The first picture is a card I designed. For the background you might ask what designer series paper is that? It actually isnt. I used the Drybrush background stamp set and inked it in 3 different colors. This is a great stamp. I just love it. They did it with different colors in the 2020-2021 annual catalog. Also for the die cuts words Stampin Up now has some adhesive foam strips that work great. No gluing the tiny little word diecuts anymore! You put your paper on one side of the foam adhesive sheets and then the diecut and cut it out. Then when you are done with that you peel off the back and it has adhesive on it. For your leftover scraps you can use them as dimensionals so you dont have any waste.

The second picture is a little flip top box. You can put any fun things in it you want. I believe its even big enough for a gift card and some treats. I cant take credit for this box. I follow Kitchen table stamper and she has great videos. So this is one of her projects. This doesnt use designer series papers either. Again you stamp your own background. Hers actually said Coffee instead of cookies and she put a packet of coffee in hers. I accidently used the wrong die and mine says Cookies but I think it still works. There is a cookie stamp and die I may still add to it.

The third project is a cute little box that would be perfect for some chocolates. I cased it from I believe Stampin with Amore. She has a great You tube video channel also!
The little band up the front slides out and the box opens like that.

I hope you enjoyed all of these projects as much as I enjoyed making them. I will be doing more with this set too.

Also if you are local you can check out my class schedule on the sidebar. If you would like to order any of these great products you can click on the links below and go directly to my online store.

Playful Pets Suite!

This is the Playful Pet Suite in the new Annual Stampin Up catalog. It is a fun set. It really reminds me of the Disney Movie Lady and the Tramp.
I thought for this card is the dog is saying "Happy Birthday" and the cat says "You shouldn't have, but I'm glad you did". So I put the papers with the kitties toys on the bottom and the paper with the dog toys on the top.  There are also some cut little hearts and dog bone Trinkets.
You can get the whole suite with one item# which includes the stamps, dies, designer series papers, ribbon combo pack and the little trinkets. The whole suite is $67 using item# 154136.

You can also get it by clicking on the link below or go to my online store by clicking here.
If ordering online please use host code 7SKDPHTN for orders under $150. For orders over $150 you will get host rewards (which means free stuff!!)

Last A Lifetime!

Here is another card that I got inspiration from the new Stampin Up Annual Catalog. This set is called Last A Lifetime. It has matching dies also.
This set is actually great for weddings but I only used the flowers. The sentiment on this is from Heres a Card stamp set. I thought it was perfect for whats going on in the world right now.
I love the designer series papers on this card. There are two papers that you would think they were embossed until you touch it and realize its not.
I have a list of all the products below. Click on any item and it will take you right to my online store. Or if you want it all just click the Add All to Cart button below.
If you would like to order any of these great products you can click here to get to my online store. Or you can contact me to order or to get a new Annual catalog. If ordering online please use host code 7SKDPHTN for any orders under $150. If ordering $150 or more you will get free products.

All Things Fabulous!

The new catalog went live on Wednesday June 3rd. I was so excited. I had been anxiously waiting to order out of it. As a demonstrator you get to order out of it a month early but only a few things. So I was really anxious to order my favorites.
The first favorite I wanted was the All Things Fabulous Bundle. It is a three step stamp set of roses. And anyone who has been to my house must know I love roses because we have them all over.
I stamped them in 5 different color combos and then made this card. I was casing the card on page 121 of the catalog. The catalog is always such a great source for inspiration for me. I don't think anyone would at my card and think it looks like the one in the catalog. So I guess really I just got inspiration from it and didn't case it!
So I have used the All Things Fabulous Bundle and the Flowers for All Seasons Designer Series papers. I love those papers. They are gorgeous. I have also used one of the new In Colors on this project Misty Moonlight.
The new in colors are very fun. Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider, BumbleBee, Just Jade, and Misty Moonlight.
If you would like to order any of these great projects you can go to my online store here, or click on one of the item below and it will take you right there.
If ordering online please use host code 7SKDPHTN for orders under $150. For orders $150 and over you will get host rewards so don't use the host code.
