Peaceful Pines Candy Box!

How many of you remember the lifesaver card boxes you always use to get for Christmas when you were young? Maybe I am dating myself but I seem to remember getting them a lot.
This candy box is like that. Only its filled with much yummier candy! Dove Dark Chocolates!!
My favorite candy!!
I used the Peaceful Pines stamps and dies again for this project. I am really liking this set. There are three sizes of stamps and dies for the trees so that is a great deal. Lots of different fun images.
The papers I used for this set are fun also.
They are from the Merry Moments designer series papers. These papers come in two different sizes. They come in a 6 x6 pack in the Holiday catalogue and 12 x 12 in the regular catalogue so you have your pick of which you would like.
If you would like to purchase any of these products, I would love it if you contacted me or just go to my online store to place an order. You can find it to the right of this entry!

Curvy Keepsake Carriage!

I found this cute little carriage on pinterest and just had to make it. I think it is the cutest little thing.
There are so many different ideas out there for the Curvy Keepsake Box Die from Stampin Up.
Mine tilts a little to one side. Its a little difficult to get all of the wheels centered exactly.
I was going to provide the link to the website for this cute little carriage but unfortunately I just got a new laptop an am still learning how to use it. It is a Mac computer which I have never used before. I am compiling a list of questions for Kati to help me with and coping and pasting is on that list.
So when I learn that I will come back and edit this with the direct link to person I cased this idea from. I believe she is in Germany and her video was in German but I still got the general idea. I know there is probably a way to translate but I just watched it and then figured out what I needed to do.
Her photos are also a lot better than mine to show how adorable this little carriage is.

Christmas Card Class!

These cards are for a class I am teaching at Main St Stamp and Stationary this tuesday evening in Tigard!
It will be my first class of this kind at a store. I am really excited and very nervous. But hopefully, I will be fine once it gets started.
For the christmas tree card, we will be doing the white tree card. But I wanted to try it out with a tree not quite as fat and I also had the filigree die cut piece already cut out in white so I decided to make my card with the skinny tree just the opposite as the fat tree card. I also forgot the red ribbons on the green tree until after I put on the rhinestones. I decided I liked it like that and just put glitter on instead.
I will be making a display board for the class with the two different options so everyone can see two ways for this card.
The poinsettia card was fun to make also. When I make an extra sample card I will be turning the dsp papers over and using the other side.
So if you like these cards and live in the area give Main St a call and sign up for the class!!

Art Impressions Reunion Blog Hop!

Welcome to the ART IMPRESSIONS DESIGN TEAM REUNION BLOG HOP! You are coming here from TAMMIE KOEHNEN !
Art Impressions is having a Reunion Design Team Blog Hop. We are introducing the Spinners! They come with front and back stamps of the image and matching dies. They are made to spin when the card is open. So you twist the image up really tight. Then slide it into your envelope. When the lucky recipient of this card pulls it out of the envelope and opens it the image spins. It is a great idea!! I just love it!
I am using Santa Spinner. I have colored my images using copic marker colors R20, 27, 37,39, N2, 7, 9, YR000, 00, W5, 6 and a clear Wink Of Stella pen. The Santa Spinner number is 4678 and die set 4697 .

Here are a couple of videos you can watch. They are featuring The Great Kate Swanson from Art Impressions!

WONDROUS WREATH! (Also Weekly Deals and Clearance Rack Items!)

I resisted this stamp set and die for along time. Then I finally decided to get it. (I actually need to work on the project that made me decide to get it!!). I really like it. Its easy to stamp and easy to cut out. It has little tabs on the stamps and die to line them up. Easy Peasy!!!
I used Real Red, white and red glimmer papers. The bow is red glimmer. I cut a hole in the white base of the card for the red to show thru. I felt the card needed some yellow and didnt have any yellow rhinestones. I could have used stickles for it but instead I colored my clear rhinestones yellow with a sharpie marker. It worked great. The one on the bow actually looks gold but in real life is yellow.
I die cut the Joy in silver foil paper. I'm not sure if I like the Joy. I think it needs to stand out more. Maybe silver glimmer paper? What do you think?
I would love some comments on it telling me your opinion!!
You can get the Wondrous Wreat stamp set and dies in a bundle. Its a great deal! You get 15% off the set when you buy the bundles.

Beautiful Bunch!

I wanted to make a few of these cards but didnt have enough papers for them so I used different papers on them out of the same paper pack. I liked how both of them turned out.
I think these turned out to be great fall cards. I have been making so many holiday cards lately I wanted to make something that wasnt a holiday but still great for the season.
I colored the flowers and leaves with copic markers. Also I forgot in my list of supplies below that I also used Birthday Blossoms for the leaves. I added some rhinestones and colored them with a brown sharpie to make them match the flower!
You can color any rhinestones or pearls with sharpies to match your projects. It works great!
I went to Michaels and used a 40% off coupon and got a great deal on a 12 pack and got a great range of colors.
See my supply list below!

Reason For The Season! Again!

This is the latest Reason For The Season card I made. I used the outline poinsettia stamp for this card. I also love the greeting on this one. I am glad that it fit.
In the background is the Berries and Boughs Embossing Folder. It is almost two big for a normal size card. So if you look closely you can see on my card why it is very important to watch where you line up your cardstock before running it thru your embossing machine!!
Stayed tuned later this week and I will show which of three of the four Reason For The Season cards that will be in my Reason For The Season workshop later this month!!

Another Reason For The Season!

Here is another card made with Reason For The Season! I used the sketch from Mojo Monday for the layout of the card!
I used the SU Gold Glimmer paper for the poinsettia. I had a hard time gluing this together. I made two of the poinsettias. The first one took all day to dry and I used tombow glue for it. The other one I used glue dots and they worked pretty good. I think next time I do something like this I will try my hot glue gun.
Stayed tuned for another card coming this week using Reason For the Season.
I will be holding a workshop with some of the cards using just this set. I used every stamp but one greeting for this set!! Also you can get the stamp set and the poinsettia punch in a bundle in the holiday catalogue. If you would like to order these great products just send me an email or go thru my online store and you can be making great projects with this bundle in just a few days also!!

Reason For the Season #2

This is another card I did with the SU's Reason For The Season stamp set. I love how the two cards made with the same set are total opposites.
For these two cards I will be doing another christmas card class. I will come up with one more card to go with these last two with this same set. Hopefully it will be totally different also.
I love the papers for this card. The poinsettia paper is from the Season of Cheer Dsp pack. The printed paper is from the Current In Color paper pack using a sheet of the Mossy Meadow.
I have added some red ribbon. The poinsettia is stamped three times. Once in Always Artichoke ( I had loaned out my Mossy Meadow ink pad), and then Real Red. I watered colored the poinsettia just a little bit with a Clear Wink of Stella pen to give it a little bit of shimmer, but it doesnt really show up in the picture. One of the greetings from Reason For The Season is stamped in Always Artichoke.
I have used Deco Labels Collection Thinlits die cut with white and Mossy Meadow cardstock. I have also made a white card base with a thin Mossy Meadow layer in between. The buttons on the bottom right are the Home For Christmas Designer Buttons.

Reason for The Season!

Wow, looks like it has been a long time since I have posted anything. One reason is I have been having some problems with my arm that I think may be related to too much computer usage and two some problems with getting onto blogger when I do want to.
Any hoos, here is a card for you! I think it turned out quite stunning!
I will have a list of supplies below!!
I did forget to list the dazzling diamonds glitter and I also embossed the greeting with some home grown embossing powder. I mixed glitter and silver embossing powder together to give it some extra sparkle. Also I used the Softly Falling Textured Embossin folder. This is a 6 x 6 folder.
