Born to Craft!

I found this adorable card at The Paper Nest . This image is called Scrapper Elllie . She is so cute and perfect for me. I am always carrying around a soda with me just like she is. Or it could be a coffee too. Whichever you want. I used the same papers that were used on the sample card. If you go to Carol's blog you can get all the details on her card. I made my only a little different.
I used the sketch from sweet sketch wednesday .
This was just a fun card to do. I added the sentiment from one of my Stamping Bella stamps (havent opened that notebook for a long while!!)

Back to School!

Its time for the stamp and create with magnolia blog challenge for this month. The theme is back to school. So I have used Autumn Tilda w/Pencils. I think she is cute but I am a very none back to school project person. So this challenge was a little hard for me.
I did find some fun school papers tho and made my card with the sketch from The Sweet Stop .

Purple Bestie!

Hello!
Today at the Besties Challenge , it is with an animal. So I choose this cute little gal with her bet snail. He looks a little scared. Maybe he is worried about being her dinner!
I had some trouble coloring this image. Not because of the image but I always have problems with the purples. Even tho I really wanted to do a purple project.

The Besties and Sweet Sketch Wednsday!

I have another card today from The Besties Store . You can also find them at the Etsy store. Of course as you know I love them and have been using them for a week or so. I have made three cards with them today.
I really like how this card turned out!!!

Besties Challenge Monday!

I am one of the runners up at Besties Challenge for last week and I won three of their wonderful images.
I just am in love with these gals. I think I might have about 7 of them now and there are lots more I want.
They have really gotten my mojo back and I am sooo glad.
This one is called Teachers Pet. This weeks challenge is back to school/fall. I hate the school challenges but then I realized it is fall (already!!!!) and I saw this image so I just had to get it and join the challenge.
I have to tell you, I have had the pleasure to correspond with two of the gals over at the Besties site and they are the nicest, most helpful gals I have worked with. They helped me with my images, gave me nice compliments on my last card. GREAT gals!!!
So onto this weeks card. I used some stampin up papers and my favorite floral oval die. Added some rhinestones, a bow and flowers and there you go.
Also to make my card I used the sketch from this weeks sketch saturday .

New Favorites!!!

I was doing a little blog hopping yesterday and came across some new digi images I just LOVE!!!
The are called The Besties! You can find them at several places here .
 They have these huge eyes and I just love them!
I bought two of them and then realized I had one already that I hadnt used.

So I decided to color one up this morning. I am entering it in The Besties Challenge . Their challenge this week is bow crazy.  I love the big bow in her hair and I also added a bow to the card. To make this card I used the sketch from the sketchy challenge .
I really like how this turned out. She was so much fun to color. I have quite a few birthdays I need cards for in august but I will have to make another one of these to keep for myself before giving it away!

Hello Baby!

My hubby's boss just had their 1st grandbaby so I decided to make a card for them.
I went over to my sis's house to stamp and borrowed her Taylored Expressions onesie day.
I found this adorable little train paper (I just realized this one is upside down). I had just purchased the flowered paper also. The two polka dot papers are really old papertrey ink papers I bought way back when they first started selling ds papers.
I also used my brand new spellbinders die called Stately Circles.
I think they turned out pretty cute. For the greeting I used my Teeny Tiny Wishes set from SU.
Also when I was visting my sis we went to the new stamp/art store in Salem, Craft Warehouse and also Tuesday Morning.
The Tuesday Morning in Salem has LOTS of spellbinder dies for a really good price. It would be perfect for someone just starting out. Unfortunately, I had most of the ones they had.
But we had a really good day!

Stamp and Create Magnolia Blog Challenge Friday!

This month for Team B at Stamp and Create Magnolia Blog Challenge is Christmas in July!
I have used my Tilda w/Snowflake Magnolia stamp. I went with snowflake papers. I paired it with the new SU color Smoky Slate cardstock. I also used the tree die from Magnolia. I love this die. I added glitter on the trees to make them sparkly. I also used a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch.
Since the card was all grey and white I went with hot pink for the accent colors on Tildas snow outfit.

Collage Style!

I needed to make some birthday cards for august. I have a friend that is really into the collagey type of thing so I made this for her. Not my normal type of card at all but I have been seeing some different things out there so I thought I would give it a try.
I just used a quarter sheet of scrapbooking paper. It has 4 large designs on it that were each 6 x 6 so I cut this one out in two places and then put it back together and layered it. Added some glitter and a bow. For the sentiment I did just stamp it right on the paper but then realized I stamped it upside down. So I restamped it on matching card stock. Inked the edges to match and layered it on top.

Another WhipperSnapper!

This is the third little mouse I got when I was in CoosBay a few months ago at Memories of Time.
He is called Spring Mouse and he is another WhipperSnapper Rubber Stamp. Much easier to stamp then the watermelon one.
I used a sketch from friday sketch challenge . Except the image was supposed to be a circle and mine is a rectangle. I probably could have fit it into a circle but I guess I didnt think about it.
I colored the image with copics. I found some papers that I thought made me think of mushrooms.
The ds papers matched perfect with SU Pool Party CS. I could have used a lot of su colors with these papers.
I added some ribbon and rhinestones. Also I used the bitty banners su set and matching dies.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge!

I made this card using the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday . I used this cute little tilda. I think It might be Swedish Tilda but not really sure. I was trying to decide what papers to use and my eyes landed on these new SU ribbons. Then I remember I had just looked at these ds papers with the exact same colors. I colored her with copic markers and then layered her. Added some flowers.

Whipper Snapper Sumertime!

This card was made with a WhipperSnapper Stamp called Summertime Friends. I saw this card at
memories of time . They were having a class but I didnt want to go back down there and take it so I did it on my own.
I was really intimidated by doing the watermelon because reds are hard. So I colored it last. But I really had fun doing it. I stamped the image and then colored it with copic. The flowers are handmade.
It was a really fun card to make. Although I will have to admit the stamp was hard to stamp. It is a big block to hold the picture and so it rocks. But also the watermelon center kept getting inked. Finally I had to stamp on a pad to get a good image. So I may have to invest in the new stamping pad that SU carries and see how it works. But the SU catty worked good as a pad also.

December LOTV Calender!

I know Christmas in July is a big deal but I have a really hard time with it. But it was the last calender I had to do so I am excited about that. They are all done.
I think this LOTV image is really cute. My denami Merry Christmas went really well down the side of it.
I colored the image with copic markers and then glittered her fur accessories. Her gift bag is colored with gel glitter pens. I added a sleigh charm to the image also.

Cased TE Card!

I love this card. I was going to order everything to make it and realized it was a Monthly set from Taylored Expressions and couldnt order it. Then I remembered my big sis belonged to the monthly kit club and she had it. So she supplied the stamps and dies and I supplied the papers and we made them together.
