TESC#115 and Just Magnolia Challenges!

I combined two challenges in one with this card. TESC115 from www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com and also Just Magnolias. I think you can click on blinkies at the sidebar to get to either one quickly.
I used my little tilda with cherry boots and some cherry paper I picked up. I used diamond glaze on her boots but it doesnt show good here. I wanted to make them look like real rainboots.
I colored her with copic markers and added some cherries and crotched buttons.
It didnt turn out as well as I wanted but oh well, what can a gal do?

Blue Magnolia

I made this card last week for Taylors sketch challenge but thought I would add to it and never did. So it didnt make it. I thought this little tilda was so cute, I had to stamp her up. I combined her with some old stampin up designer papers and a stampendous sentiment. Colored her with copic markers and layered her with the big scalloped rectangle nesties.

Magnolicious Birthday Bash! Post 3 for today!

Can you believe it! This is my third post for today. I am having so much fun with the magnolias and Magnolicious is having a birthday bash so I decided to do their challenge for this week. You can check it out here at magnoliabirthdaybash.com. I used this cute little tilda and the just sitting here thinking of you sentiment. The papers are from The Girls Paperie. I love these papers. I combined them with stampin up cardstock barely banana and pink passion. Here are some more of the little roses I got. They are smaller than the ones on the princess card. I love them.

2nd Post for Today! OCLDT15

I made this card for this weeks challenge over at Our Craft Lounge. OCLDT15. You just use their sketch and one of their stamps. I had stamped some of these images from a friend awhile back and thought I would use it. The sentiment is from the set also but the bag of peanuts is from High Hopes. I colored the elephant with copic markers and because I stamped so many images on one page I had to cut him out by hand. The papers are from the local scrapbook store but they dont say on them what company they are from. It matched some discounted cardstock from stampin up I still have. Forest foliage.

Princess Magnolia!/Flutter by Wednesdays Craft Challenge #111

I made this with one of my new magnolias from the Fairytale Collection. I had to look long and hard to find her in stock somewhere. She came all the way from the UK. It took less than two weeks but the exchange rate for the $$ was terrible. I hope to not do that again.I think she is adorable.
Anyway onto the details. I thought this flowered paper was perfect for her. It is sleepy time by Daisyd's. The little angel at the top is like her fairy princess to make all her dreams come true. She is from the same fairytale line. So inside the card she is granting her a wish. May all your dreams come true. I couldnt figure out what to put on the inside and as I was stamping with a friend she mentioned something about dreams coming true so that reminded me of this sentiment by Inkadinkado that I had. I had also recently purchased these roses the other night and some glimmer mist from Making Memories, its called Iridescent Memories Mist. I sprayed it on the pink roses to make them shimmery and it turned out really pretty.
This is my first easel card. I dont know how this will fit in an envelope to send anywhere. I guess I will have to put it in a bubble envelope and get one of those little table looking things that come in pizza boxes. I also added some clear pearls and white netting. For the little fairy princess on top I had put some white pearly smooches on her dress and then glittered her wings. When I glittered her wings the glitter stuck to her dress also because the smooch was still wet. That stuff takes forever to dry. So she is very sparkly. I used the white smooch on the princess's dress also to add some shimmer to it but it doesnt show up very well. All in all I really like how this card turned out.
I am on a magnolia craze lately. I even made a special pink and black magnolia notebook I picked up at Target so they would have a special place to live.
I also entered this card in the Flutter by Wednesday's Craft Challenge #111. It had to be something with wings like angel or fairy.

Fun With Nesties!

So, I had this idea about threading the ribbon thru one of the pendant nestibilities. I really like the way it turned out but boy was it a pain in the wazoo! I wove it thru leaving a tail on each end and then tied the bow. The vase with flowers is from a GinaK Designs set. I colored it with copic markers outlining it in yellow to make it pop out some. Then I used mounting tape to attach it to the blue nesties piece. I also used mounting tape on the white pendant piece to make it stand up some. The punch along the bottom is a Martha Stewart Punch. I love this one. I think it can be elegant or just used for a lacy touch. The ds paper is some I got from a local stamp store here and I paired it with bashful blue and close to cocoa stampin up papers. It was a last minute card for stamp club and I was in a real hurry but I am really pleased with how it turned out.

Flourishes!

I know I have been missing in action for awhile. I have been stamping some tho. This is one of the cards I did for mays stamp club.
This with Flourishes Gerber Daisy set and Circular Sayings from Verve. I used nestiblities and colored the images with copic markers. I inked around the edges with stampin up retired Blue Bayou. The cardstock is a basic white and stampin up Baja Breeze which was an old incolor and now is coming back as a regular color. I am really excited they are bringing it back. I am not that into blues but this has always been my favorite. It just has seemed to go with so many of the designer papers that have been out in the last year or two.
The ribbon is some more I got from cod wholesale a year or so ago. That ribbon lasts a long time because it comes with 25-50 yards per spool. The grograin comes I think with 100 yards but I rarely use that. The little circles for the sentiment were punched with stampin up punches.

Beautiful Flowers!

My wonderful daughter brought me these lovely roses for mothers day. I have never seen anything like them. Its hard to see in the picture but they are a marbled red, not just a regular red. Very beautiful.
We also had lunch on friday with my hubby and went shopping in the morning. It was a great day. We are so blessed to have such a thoughtful wonderful daughter and I am so glad she is back home with us.

Magnolia Class!

This is one of the cards from the Magnolia class I took last sunday. I didnt color them there because I wanted to use my copic markers so I just got around to finishing it today. I added the flowers. I wanted to make it a little zippier.
I think this little Tilda is very cute.

Case"d Card #1

Here's the 1st card I cased from tayloredexpressions store's gallery. Visit her blog at http://www.tayloredexpression.blogspot.com/ and click on her store. She has a great gallery for all her sets. I changed the ribbon and the sentiment. I made 4 cards for the gift set with 4 sentiments, two of each cards. So there were 8 cards all together.
I colored the image with copic markers and used old olive card stock from stampin up and some gingham ribbon from cod wholesale.
I love this set from Taylor. It is CreativiTea. Becareful tho, some of the stamps are small and I have lost one already.

Casing from Taylor Expressions!

I totally cased this idea off the gallery on the taylor expressions store. Did you guys check out her stuff this week? I love it all. This is the box for a set of cards. I made 4 different cards, two of each design with 4 different sentiments. I also made a matching gift bag and gave it to a girl at work today for a going away gift. She loved it and so did everyone else. I changed the ribbon a little bit and changed all the words and how they were on the other cards. I had a lot of fun with this set. I made two of them. The box is totally cool also and it came from Taylors store also. Check her out. Her blog is http://www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/ and the go to the store. I dont know the direct link to the store off the top of my head but she has a header for it right at the top of her blog.

I will post some of the cards later.

Cool New Stamps!

I just love stamps from Taylored Expressions. She had her new releases for this month. The frame on this card is from Creativetea. I love this set. It matches perfectly this spellbinders nestibilities set. Isnt it so cool. I found the idea for this card on her store gallery. You just go on there and pick the stamp set you want for lots of ideas. I changed the sentiment and color of ribbon and also added a flower instead of stamping one. I really think this is a very nice mothers day card. Very easy yet elegant looking. The papers on this card are from the yummy new papers that just came out from a new company called The Girs Paperie. I love this line of papers. They are delish. Taylor has it in one of her card kits but I wanted 12 x 12 papers and to pick as many of the ones I wanted. I first saw them on Michelle Woodersons's Blog Mish Mash. She used them also. I had to had them and she had a link to them that sent me to Two Peas In a Bucket's website. I bought a bunch but will probably end up getting more. They are beautiful.

Spellbinders Impressabilities!

I finally bought my first Impressability from spellbinders. Not sure yet if I like it or not. It is definately not as easy as cuttlebugs embossing folders. I saw this card at a local stamp store and thought even tho it was simple it was very cute. It made me by this one. But it took a lot of work to get it to work. This one is called sea scapes. I just embossed the clam shell with white embossing powder on blue for one card. The other card I used stampin up shimmery white cardstock and the re inkers and waterbrush technique on the other. I used bashful blue, night of navy and brocade blue cardstock. My clamshell is from the Flourishes Seaside Life set.
